  1. I'm going to remember the tribe colors by the first letters of the names...so Reba=Red, Bela=Blue, and Lulu= Lellow ๐Ÿ˜
  2. I freakin' hate Moriah's big fake eyelashes. Just wanted to get that off my chest. (I realize it's a trend, but I'm old)๐Ÿ˜
  3. I guess they do if they live in the Chicago suburbs ๐Ÿคฃ (I can't remember the last time I went to one myself)๐Ÿ˜
  4. I just wanted to share that my 19yo grandson has been VERY peeved that I turn off the WiFi every night(morning) at 2 am (he likes to play video games with other people on his computer.) Fine..whatever, play all dang day if you want...BUT. He was staying up until 6am playing (even when he knew he was scheduled to work the next morning at 10am.) So of course he overslept and was late for work...twice. ๐Ÿ™„ So I told him the WiFi was going off at 2 every night. He started complaining about, and I said "oh? guess you'll have to pay for your own WiFi then" and then walked away. Went in my room and wouldn't listen to him whine (I will NOT baby him like his parents were.) So. He has been giving me the silent treatment for 2 weeks, because I have held to it(oh well ) but just awhile ago he came downstairs, and cheerfully said, "I'm going to the mall Grammie" and as he walked out he said "love you!" ๐Ÿคฏ I feel like I did the right thing for him by giving him (a small) boundary. Yay me! ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿฅฐ (baby steps)
  5. He reminds me of Ichabod Crane. ๐Ÿ˜
  6. Maybe if he wore a paper bag on his head... ๐Ÿคฎ
  7. I agree 100%..when it comes to mistakes other people make. It's definitely a me thing. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  8. My husband needed hearing aids (for years and years ๐Ÿ™„) but didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on them. So I got used to loudly yelling at him. Then last October they passed the over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid bill, and they then became available at pharmacies, big box stores, and some audiology offices across the country. You'd better believe I hopped right on that and ordered some for my husband. I was nervous, because they still were a couple of hundred dollars, but I was willing to gamble and hope they worked. OMGosh..they DO work (at least for him.) He can hear again! He tried them on, and later I forgot he had them in. I said something to him, and he said "why are you YELLING at me?!" I said "this is how I always talk to you!" He then sheepishly said "oh, I guess I really was deaf." (no duh) I bought them from Amazon and they were about $200. They worked really well, but kept falling out of his ears, and he managed to step on one and break it to bits. So now I ordered him the ones that go over his ears and they work just as well, plus they stay put (and are practically invisible) And they were only about $125. Oh, and they're rechargeable and you don't need batteries. Hope this (long winded) post helps. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  9. New season starts on September 27!! (which is two of my daughters' birthdays, and they're not twins) ๐Ÿ˜ps did I use the apostrophe right here? I couldn't decide which way was correct.
  10. This reminded me...I am hooked on "24 Hours in A&E" on Amazon Prime. Not for the squeamish..they show everything...and I mean everything. (not private parts on people, but all the gory injuries.) It's about what happens in a British trauma hospital in a 24 hour period. Just watching it made me put a much brighter lightbulb over my staircase, because OMGosh do people ever fall down stairs a lot (especially old people like me.)๐Ÿ˜ญ It also shows how the patient's life was going before the thing that landed them in the hospital. Be forewarned that not everyone on the show survives, but that's reality. And there's 16 seasons ๐Ÿ˜ ps I have to have captions on to help me understand some of their accents.๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. I used to have a lot of content to read when I followed many other shows, but I got tired of some of them becoming so *obviously* scripted, and dropped them one by one (specifically looking at you, 90 Day Fiance)๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฃ
  12. I'm bereft..I have no posts to read on any of the shows I follow. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคฃ I have fourteen shows of mostly train-wreck TV saved (don't judge) and they're all empty! Guess I need to go do something more constructive. ๐Ÿ˜
  13. *small voice* my husband and I kind of enjoyed Buddy Games. Kind of a mix of amazing race and survivor challenges..and the people are real friends. ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ
  14. I kind of liked it. It was nice to see contestants who didn't already complete on other shows. My husband even watched the whole thing with me, and he has the attention span of a goldfish (unless it's sports.) I put it on my DVR to record. YMMV๐Ÿ˜Š
  15. I always record the two shows that come after any show I really want to watch when it comes on a Sunday...just in case football runs long (as usual.) It's a PITA, but I'm too impatient to wait until it gets on Paramount+ (at least I'm not on California time...that would suuuck.)
  16. I have a question. Has Cirie's name ever been picked to play in any challenge? Are we sure her name is even in that box? (can they do that?)๐Ÿค”
  17. I "borrowed " this from a different forum. I thought it was interesting that TLC paid for all the food from their filmed grocery trips. Jill said they were able to get much different stuff than what they normally had to eat all the time.
  18. I didn't know either, so I googled him. Josh Duhamel American actor (born 1972) After various modeling work, he made his acting debut as Leo du Pres on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children and later starred as Danny McCoy on NBC's Las Vegas. (I still don't know who he is) ๐Ÿ˜
  19. I had to mute it and just watch with captions...her voice made my teeth itch.๐Ÿ˜‚
  20. The mother in this article reminded me of Jim-Bob and Michelle's reactions to Josh having CSA material. WTHeck is wrong with some people?!๐Ÿ˜  https://faithfullymagazine.com/austin-wray-perkins-youth-pastor-arrested-child-porn/ "Perkinsโ€™ distraught mother confirmed that he has worked at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church for years. โ€œThis is my youngest child. This is my churchgoing child. This is my child that tries to help everybody,โ€ Kelly Bishop told a local news station. โ€œI donโ€™t understand,โ€ Bishop said. She went on to say that she did not believe he was guilty of the charges leveled against him."
  21. Do you have to belong to Costco, or is it like Sam's Club where you can use the optical department without having a members card?
  22. I'm sorry you've all been sick. Feel better soon! I have one daughter (and her family) that had never gotten covid. (they've all been vaxxed and were very, very cautious.) Welp, last week 3 of the 4 in her family got it (only her daughter away at college didn't.) She had recently flown to go to my granddaughter's graduation from her Navy boot camp. She wanted to support her niece since she had been in the Army herself (my Marine son went too) ๐Ÿ’• She was my only kid (out of 5) that never had it, but she sure has it now. Really coughing her guts out. Luckily my SIL is a physician and got them on paxlovid right away. It's so bad for her, especially, that I think she would really have had a problem without the paxovid, because it's hitting her HARD. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  23. I hate how Blue is almost always walking around with her bangs in a curler. Not a scintillating comment, perhaps, but I felt compelled to share it after watching hours and hours of the feeds, and being unreasonably irritated each time I saw her dang bangs in that big curler. ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ
