Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
ChiCricket replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
Interesting article, especially this part: "He must partake in a sex offender treatment program. While the judge mentioned during the sentencing that one of the Federal Corrections Institutions being considered for Josh has a “good sex offender program,” he did not state that Josh needed to partake in it. On the minute sheet, however, the judge makes it clear that Josh’s participation in one of these programs is required. He also has to pay for it." I thought it was discussed here that it was voluntary and that he'd probably never do it? (not that I think it would help) -

I thought this was interesting (from Reddit) Why is the defense so worried that Josh won't be able to have access to adult porn (in 12.5 years?) Isn't he a Godly man who doesn't need porn? 🤔 (full disclosure, I have watched some ADULT porn before.. but I don't NEED to watch it.) JS -

From The Sun🙄 JUST NOW Anna Duggar in good spirits Anna Duggar was spotted in a blue dress with a jacket and looks "a lot blonder," according to the Sun reporter. She was seen talking to a friend attending the proceedings as well and appeared to be in good spirits. -

Wahoo! I got MY $397 Facebook check today 😁
-
My husband got his.. I'm impatiently waiting for mine! (I applied FOR him, he doesn't even know how to do Facebook, but I made him one for family) How far apart did you guys get your checks? Ps it's for Illinois residents only, because only Illinois (as far as I know) sued Facebook for infringement on our privacy.

Just got this in the mail today. They had emailed me awhile back asking if I wanted to be included in their book, and I said yes. Sure enough, my name is in the acknowledgments at the front of the book! Now I'll have to read it to see where (if?) I'm quoted. Did anyone else do this?? @Scarlett45 you are mentioned as a current moderator. (along with many others, but I feel like I "know" you.) 😁 Editing to add: I found the place where they quoted me.. and it's such a boring quote! .. and it's in Married At First Sight, of all places🤣 All I said was "I make myself a cheat sheet every season." (scintillating commentary) 🙄😂

My husband and I have both had all 4...2 regular and 2 boosters each. (we are old geezers) 😁 In fact I'm *supposed* to turn 70 on May 27th, and I already told my kids I do not want to celebrate... no way, no how. I'm going to to stay 69 from now on. 70 is just feels too dang OLD . 😭

Speaking of covid still being an issue: they are offering a 3rd round of free covid tests. I just ordered. (even though I haven't had to use the first ones they sent.) I'd rather have them on hand... just in case... https://www.covid.gov/tests

I thought this was interesting. (about Steve's apps, written in 2014) https://www.wickedlocal.com/story/waltham-news-tribune/2014/12/15/waltham-businessperson-profile-developer-stephen/35733187007/ -
I can't stand either one of them. And tbh, I don't like anyone this season. They're all irritating as hell in one way or another. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

S14.E12: Settling In, Or Just Settling?
ChiCricket replied to Emma Snyder's topic in Married At First Sight
They've known each other for just a month or so.. maybe he wants to make sure she's not just staying with him for the money he has (or doesn't.. who knows!) 😂 -
There's actually a reason PJs are made close fitting (by law.) " This practice was put into law, quite literally, in 1953 when the Federal Trade Commission passed the Flammable Fabrics Act. Prior to this, clothing companies would make sweaters and other items out of rayon, which was highly flammable and caused some accidents in the 40s. In the 60s, the Flammable Fabrics Act expanded its reach to interior furnishings and other flammable items that could be used in making or wrapping apparel. According to this law, pajamas aren’t required to have fire retardant treatment, but must be tight fitting if they don’t, so that it is harder for them to catch fire while worn." Ps what @Absolom said 😁

Not necessarily.. I live close to an elementary school. I just checked on Google maps, and it's less than a mile (0.8 mi) away from my house. My neighborhood's kids get bussed because there's two dangerous (high speed) streets they'd have to cross if they walked to school. My kids got bussed when they were young enough to go. They sometimes wanted to walk, but weren't allowed to. (walking was forbidden by the school district, but I'm having a senior moment and don't remember how that was enforced.) So to bring it back to the Dillard kids...it might depend on the nearby roads.

I don't have any pets (or young kids) rn, but it used to suuuuck when they didn't recognize that the time had changed and still got up at the same old time and wanted to be FED... NOW!!! (my cats were worse than my kids in this) 😁 Ps I'm watching The cult next door on 20/20 and OMGosh.. cah-reeeepy! 😱

I was just going to write that I cannot stand grown men with bangs. I don't know why, but I really, really HATE them. 🙃 🤢 🤢 🤢
