William does feel like a really superfluous character. I don't know why the producers think more is better with the size of the cast. I'm glad the writers realized Kara and William didn't work as a romance though. I also find Andrea very annoying and she got way too much screentime this episode. I hope we see more of that in the second half of the season.

I'm not that surprised. Chyler did an interview where I got the impression that she would have been happy to play Alex for longer and it seems like David Harewood and Melissa Benoist will be unavailable for a while.

I'm not really excited about the other guest stars though.

According to Canadagraphs Supergirl is filming its last day in studio. Supergirl wrapped its last location shoot yesterday.

They shot a big scene today for the finale with all of the current heroes and some returning characters like Mon-el, James,Winn and Eliza. I heard David Harewood, Chyler Leigh and Nicole Maines have all finished filming their last scenes in their superhero suits.

Maybe its William. Apparently Katie McGrath and Julie Gonzalo did a scene today where William's name was on a plaque in a foreign language. It looked like he might be getting a school named after him. I agree. It really wouldn't fit the tone of the show to kill off one of the major characters in the finale.

Found out about a pretty major spoiler from the Supergirl set today. They shot a funeral scene. There are pictures of Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood, Katie McGrath and Julie Gonzalo on set dressed in black. Other cast that were seen on set include Chyler Leigh, Nicole Maines, David Harewood, Azie Tesfai, Jesse Rath, Jeremy Jordan, and Mehcad Brooks. I'm not sure who would have died to bring all of them together for the funeral. Maybe they have the cast member whose character is dying on set to avoid spoiling it? Other productions have done things like that. Though I don't know if the CW cares that much about spoiling these things.

TVline has the trailer for the rest of season 6.

I'm surprised that he has already done his last scene in the suit. I don't think the show is done filming until August 6th.

I like the actors but I was hoping to see less of the Luthors in the last season. I think the show has done a lot with them in the last couple of seasons. I wish we would see more of Kara/Alex and J'onn but I feel like that won't happen.

Helen Slater (Eliza) also posted about returning for the finale. Canadagraphs posted a blog with pictures from the filming of episode 19. Most of the main cast was present and Jon Cryer and Brenda Strong were there.

I was a little surprised when I found out how big the age gap between them was. I think Gene looked a little youthful for his age at the time.

Laura Vandervoort (Indigo) did an interview with Michael Rosenbaum on Youtube. She talks about Supergirl close to the half hour mark. It seems like she didn't have a pleasant experience on set.

In addition to Kara being isolated from the cast she isn't even in the top 2 for screentime. Neither is Alex. I like Brainy but its weird that he has the most screentime so far in Supergirl's final season. I don't know Sara's screentime but it feels like it might be less than usual. It's possible there are reason's for it beyond decisions made by the writers.

I think that's what will probably happen.

Supergirl has 13 episodes left.

TVline has the CW fall schedule. There is nothing about Supergirl but The Flash and Riverdale premier on Tuesday, November 16. They are supposed to air a 5 episode event starting mid-November. I think Supergirl will have its series finale the week before unless they are going to air its final episodes in 2022 but that doesn't seem likely.
