Mine is too! Though my now ex-BIL is even stupider than Erika Jayne. They were married for 20 years and he settled for $350K in cash and no child support in exchange for all rights to the $1.5M house (paid off) and all her assets, investments and pensions. She hasn’t worked since 2008 (she was an Institutional Equity Trader at Morgan Stanley for 20 plus years and he never really worked). Her Morgan Stanley stock and pension alone is worth a million or so. I’d have had a lawyer subpoenaing her ass in two seconds. He’s already spent most of it in a year (including a Mercedes, boat, $6K Pomski puppy and $2K on a “mini pig” that lasted all of two weeks). I just refer to him as the Village Idiot. Village Idiot #2 (Erika Jayne) is going the complete different path and still trying to pick the carcass of whatever is left in the Tom Girardi estate. Widows and Orphans be damned! I’m guessing coke on the golf course? Like Richie Aprile from The Sopranos and the garbage routes…hehe… ETA to add - the Village Idiot is actually very nice. Unlike Village Idiot #2.

I really just watched this episode. First time FF to Erika Jayne parts (the rest generally bore me). IMO Kathy Hilton is really funny. Just got what the candle thing was. Her serving that bread with dinner would have been hysterical if they left it there (they didn’t). Love that big white fuzzy purse. I was impressed to see there is a noticeable stain in a bottom corner (see me - it’s rightfully well loved). I have to give Erika Jayne credit. She likes to eat and doesn’t hide it (see me). Her plate was empty when they took it away. She must work her ass off to keep that figure which does not look like to me is naturally thin (see me - same age and I now have to go to gym everyday, watch what I eat with far less impressive results😒). I also assume Cool Sculpt is heavily involved. Maybe she’ll get chunky. I kinda doubt it cause she needs to hook the next fish. I’m also thinking for the same reason she’ll try and keep all the facials, lasers, fillers to the last minute she can. She’s getting a little long in the tooth. Looks fabulous for 50 though now. Well - I’m glad I can finally join this thread. I just couldn’t with the whole Sutton/Crystal thing. I did really like Sutton’s dress last episode - but she is not emotionally equipped to be a Housewife. Reminded me why I stopped watching this show. It’s excruciating to listen to these women. Tom’s “estate” is about $26M in debt (or more). She knew that he was broke when she conveniently filed for divorce. Maybe not the extent of his debt though. She’s just trying to hold on to the millions of “gifted” jewelry, art, Chanel, LV etc… Tom’s brother is just trying to keep him out of prison before he dies.

Yep. That pretty much sums it up. I’d love to know what her response to that one will be. Probably something along the lines he was mean and belittled her for years blah blah blah. So was she lying then (we’ve all seen how she gushed over him from day one on the show) or now? I’m guessing now. I hope somebody calls her on it.

Personally - I don’t think she knew enough to be criminally liable (but who knows - maybe she is). But everybody else sure should have. She probably should at least confer with a criminal attorney though. She’s lying her ass off though about “not knowing nothing”. She’s known for at least a couple of years that something very shady was going on. There is no reason a law firm of that size and scope should have needed to take on sizable loans to fund operations even if they do cases only on contingency or not, and at minimum the burn victim’s family has been going after him for years. They’re dates in those subpoenas with your name on them. I’d have more respect for her if she didn’t desert the old man the moment the house of cards collapsed. And now pretend it’s because he was “mean and dismissive”. And no Miss Give No Fucks “gifts” purchased with stolen funds are not “gifts” you get to keep (or should want to). Good luck with that one…

LOL. Yes. That’s the “more successful” brother. I’m not aware of their dress code. I’m guessing similar. It’s probably pretty easy to figure out who I used to work for too. It was the job where my labor lawyer FIL’s resume ended up being very useful (pantyhose was not involved).

Seriously. At least that was late 80’s. This was 2015! But in their somewhat defense all the men in the Newport Beach office had to wear suits everyday. And the ladies pantyhose! Commercial real estate in general cut that shit out around 1999. We were an office of about 10 people in DC on a “don’t ask - don’t tell” policy.

I agree 100%. Everybody had to be real stupid to not see what he was up to. He obviously legitimately made lots and lots of millions - but he was spending like he was a billionaire. Private planes, $20M minimum on Erika Jayne’s “career”, LeAnne Rimes and Jay Leno performing at company parties etc. I used to work for a company where the guy who owned it was probably a legit billionaire (his brother is one of the richest people in the country - so he was the “less successful” one). They paid pretty well and I always looked forward to my Honey Baked Ham at Christmas. We did have a box at the Verizon Center, but that was about the extent of it. I’m pretty sure he flew first class and not a private charter when he came to visit DC from Orange County too (I had to wear pantyhose and pumps though when he did - that sucked). Erika though reminds me of a magnet on my fridge. It’s a cartoon of a headhunter dancing around a fire with a bloody head. It says “Maybe if Kelli hadn’t been such a bitch they wouldn’t have voted her off the Island”.

It’s really mind boggling. She’s still looking for a divorce settlement in addition to keeping all her “gifts”. In her mind I guess that includes the $20M loan. I’d advise investing whatever’s left of her Glam Squad money into a decent PR firm. But then as we all know, and she’s told us countless times before - she doesn’t give no fucks. Zero. None. Not one. I’m not a lawyer - but isn’t there something about an “apple from the poisonous tree” or something like that? Is she really that clueless or just that greedy?
