  1. Who woulda ever thunk Caroline Manzo actually added to this show? I certainly didn't. Although I knew I would miss the brief appearances of Al Manzo. Not that I'll be watching Manzo'd With Children. Unless I hear it's all about Al - then maybe I'd take a look. The ratings dip is pretty funny. It reminds me of one of my favorite Teresa delusional moments though. I think it was on some reunion where she said something like "well it happened in front of 4M viewers" about some stupid drama. OK Teresa, you keep telling yourself that - I know you're not very good at math, but delusional much? I guess we all know the answer to that question anyway.
  2. Drunk gymnastics was also my favorite Joe Giudice moment (chipped tooth? Fuhgettaboutit). That's when the cold dark spot in my heart melted a little bit. The icing on the cake was when he called Teresa a cunt on national TV. So sad he's a low grade con-artist. I blame Teresa. But I'm also the girl who blames Whitney for Bobby. Before I saw it posted I also hoped they stagger the sentences for the two clowns and Joe has the girls while Teresa's "at college". Maybe he can smack some sense into those brats (apologies to Gabriella).
  3. No fan of Melissa's (except when she sings or writes books - he), but I'm with her on this one too since Little Miss Amber gossiped about it on camera. IMO she's trying a little too hard to bring the drama I'm sure she promised. At least she didn't mention THE CANCER again (apologies if it seems I'm making light of a serious health issue), but it was probably edited out this episode.
  4. Let's hear it for watching this drivel makes us all feel better about ourselves! Then I remember I'm pathetic enough to be watching. Especially since still waiting for the DVR to be fixed and watched it live tonight with commercials. Still haven't seen last week's so at least one point for me (take that back as no On Demand - I've checked). Is it wrong that Joe Giudice is still my favorite? Him sitting at the kitchen counter with his drink wanting no part of any of this was priceless. Amber's husband is a huge asshole. Even if anything he said is true (I doubt it) - why are you on this show? Oh yes, Famewhore rules.
  5. Add me to the Teresa doing some jail time list. If it was just the mortgage fraud I think she could have gotten away with probation. Even though she was obviously a willing participant, Joe seems to be the mastermind of that scheme. Her bankruptcy fraud charge though is all on her and I can't see her getting off on that. She knew she was lying about her current and future assets. Didn't she have some bullshit story about how Joe filed bankruptcy without her knowing? The infamous fake notary seal again? I think it was when she was being called on her ridiculous spending after or shortly before they filed. New Mercedes, Audriana's christening (Marie Antoinette sushi!) and screeching though Venice looking for Chanel (not even Italian and readily available in Jersey). Kudos to who mentioned "frontin". Let's not forget the tacky furniture and even tackier curtains. Again not a lawyer, but I do know when you file for bankruptcy, you have to acknowledge that your lawyer explained everything to you (primarily about lying) and you attended credit counseling. No lawyer (even shady ones) is going to sign off if they didn't interview you personally and witnessed your signature (or at least an actual notary).
  6. I'm still calling bullshit that Teresa makes $700k/yr (could be wrong of course). I've said before these ladies love to exaggerate (see fake eyelashes). It's a cable show with about 2-3M viewers (not exactly Jersey Shore with 7M and a high % of the most valuable viewers re age). Too bad it didn't go to trial cause maybe then we'd find out exactly what her salary really is. I'm curious though who pays their salaries. Is it Sirens Media or Bravo?
  7. I guess we'll all just agree to disagree about if the Giudice's acting like remorseless fools on TV could possibly effect their sentencing. My point was that the evidence phase is over and at sentencing the Judge will not only base the sentence on the guidelines, but "character" comes into play at this point. Not that I would ever believe the Judge would say directly their behavior on RH influenced her decision, but I see it as a possibility it indirectly could. Prosecutors can bring up whatever they want at sentencing. The Giudice's portray the show at all other times as the real them, so it's hard to believe it's all acting and editing. Though I'm sure the defense will make the case it's just a show if brought up. I'm also thinking about in a case in DC regarding one of our big local developers. His name is Doug Jemal. He was primarily responsible for revitalizing a lot of then sketchy areas in DC and dilapidated properties (Gallery Place, NE etc). He was also "gifting" DC officials for some sweet lease deals with the DC government. Got caught was convicted. He should have gotten 3 years, but basically skated (prosecutor's were furious) cause the judge took into account all the good things he did for the city and others (apparently not only generous with DC officials but a lot of people down on their luck). His very loyal "bagman" went to jail for 9 months though. In the DC commercial RE industry though we all believe he's been generously compensated for it although no longer works for Jemal (we joke about he's probably living it up now on some island as he really hasn't been heard from since). Sorry long and won't mention again. But I do believe their public " reality" behavior could hurt them.
  8. badbolocolo - I guess you missed her Fabellini commercial. It was awesome. Sexy and sophisticated! In the immortal words of Inigo Montoya - "I don't think it means what you think it means".
  9. Happykitteh (cute cat) - I disagree to some extent. They don't need any more evidence of guilt, the moron twins took a plea. They need to allocute before the Judge, admit what they did then ask for leniency. IMO it's hard to be taken seriously that you're sorry when you're prancing around on a reality TV show like you're the victim. I think the Fed's definitely want jail time and wouldn't hesitate to bring it up at sentencing. They asked for unaired footage from the show when they were preparing their case. I'd love to be out too. Unfortunately my husband now wants to watch this season too.
  10. It will be interesting to see how Teresa plays it this season. IMO for her it's very unfortunate it turns out most of the season is going to air before sentencing. She might have been better off if they were already sentenced. Still driving around in $60K Mercedes (it's called Swapalease Teresa look it up), make-up artists and hair stylists, throwing lavish parties and still not being seen in the same outfit twice! Of course all the while acting like you're being unjustly persecuted. It's like the old SNL "Bad Idea Jeans" skit or to a lesser extent Dave Chapelle's "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong". Can't speculate about the Judge, but I'm pretty sure the DOJ prosecutors are watching (even just for kicks at this point) and they're giving them a whole bunch of ammunition arguing for an actual jail sentence when she pleads the mea culpa in front of the Judge. Sometimes I actually feel sorry for them (see my hand basket to Hell re Juicy) cause they seem just so stupid and maybe don't actually believe what they did was wrong.
  11. What a snooze fest. Hate to admit it, can't believe I think "little miss can't do wrong" Caroline or the potentially unstable Jaq (see her apparent unfortunate Twitter addiction from what I've heard on these boards) might be better. These new ladies seem to have the potential to be a bunch of screaming hyenas. Which I normally I would usually enjoy (don't watch these shows for the "luxurious" lifestyle). Probably not enough room on the road to hell for all of us with our hand baskets and I'm cluttering it up more as Joe Giudice is still my favorite. Dr's and hygienist's? Priceless. Edited for a very strange triple post in the same comment. Like anybody wants to read what I wrote even once. Now happened twice.
  12. I call total bullshit on the "contract" too. Though I think it's funny Teresa has a mouthpiece to speak for her. Never been on Twitter myself. Instead of Tweets my husband calls them Twats (sorry if offends but we're proud South Park fans). One - I don't think these "multi-year" contracts exist, although I can believe a non-compete clause. Two - Dina "No More Drama" Manzo (nice try honey seeing you're back for more) pretty much debunked that before when she quit halfway through Season Two. Three - I think Teresa loves being a "star" (double quotes on that). Four - Teresa has been known to lie (see BK filing).
  13. Was that on today? I was disappointed when I looked this am and didn't see the marathon for Season 3. Bizarre power outage last week (I live 5 blocks from the US Capitol and all power is below ground and backed up so really never happens) that wiped out the DVR and the ability to record and we've been too busy to figure it out (probably TMI). Too bad, cause that Christening was awesome in a really excellent train wreck way. I proudly have no shame for enjoying it, as I'm not the one who made the bad decision to be on reality TV so we all can mock you . Way to make a great first impression Gorga's! FozzyBear thanks for the memories!
  14. Just caught most of Season 2 yesterday. These ladies were so much likable in Season 1 before they decided they were "stars" (I'm looking at you Teresa) or everybody's "conscious" (I'm looking at you Caroline). Whatever happened to Teresa's cute natural curly hair? Will it return during her prison stay or will she find another inmate to be her "stylist"? Glad not have to watch Danielle anymore. Forgot how BSC she really was (ie - armed bodyguards). No wonder she was fired. I actually always felt somewhat sorry for her since there seems to be some deep rooted physcological issues (not a psychiatrist). The reunion was priceless to watch again. "Teresa according to the NY Post you and Joe filed for BK for $8M". Teresa says with disdain - you consider the NY Post a reliable source?". Our Andy never let's anybody off that easy (probably knew all details of the filing). "It says you have $100K in credit card debt from Neiman's, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom". Teresa again - "that's not correct". Oh yes it was.
  15. LuckyBitch - I have to read way too many legal documents - my sympathies. But since it's mostly incredibly dry leases, PSA's and other assorted commercial RE docs, I actually find this kind of stuff interesting (loved the Giudice shit) and do generally understand them. People seem to make a big deal of the original bankruptcy amount of $80M (let's not forget about poor Susan B. Komen! - talk about a dog with a bone). But it looks like Signature was a pretty substantial company. They occupied three floors of a Manhattan office building (about 80K sf) so god knows how much money they were bringing in a year before they filed. Chris' brother apparently now has a apparel company in LA now (nice website). I guess Chris just has that godforsaken black water now.
  16. God help me, I did finally read all the documents Reality Tea posted (even worse sober - bad Jen). I know kinda think I know what happened and unfortunately I don't think anybody's going to jail (see me being evil and bitter for making an honest hence less luxurious living). The documents posted actually were only somewhat tangentially related to the Laurita's. If anybody cares (and I only read all 300 pages once and not a lawyer), it appears that when Signature was going bankrupt (according to the Laurita's three major accounts cancelled and not ridiculous spending - sure) they defaulted on paying the royalties to the license holder for about $7M. This would be Ruby Azrak (who was the co-founder of Russell Simmons clothing line). Signature was sent a default notice but the license was never officially terminated (here comes the defrauding and legalese - it's the major part of their claim) so the money owed to them wasn't in the BK filling or the future potential profit. So according to the creditor's lawsuit, Azrak, with the assistance of the Laurita's transferred the license to a new company who basically paid them their outstanding royalties for the license at a new company with the Laurita brothers getting a salary of $500k/yr with earn outs (didn't happen) and Azrak reaping huge rewards on the "new" license (like $40M/yr). The $2.8M to the Laurita's was a "consultant fee" (for assisting them in transferring the license). Definitely not sure I summarized correctly, but I always suspected Chris Laurita did actually make crazy money at some point (unlike the rest of them). Does this make any sense? Does anybody care? Unlike initially reading the 400-pages, I did have a few drinks typing this (yay bourbon! - makes reality TV so much better - except for Tori and Dean). But in my defense I'm also trying to summarize 400 page, sober or no.
  17. Persnickety - you and me both baby thinking they're all a pack of fools and frauds. Unfortunately I did read some of the documents Reality Tea posted (love me some legal documents). This entire case does make your head spin trying to figure it out. The Giudice's case being more simple (see stupid) fraudsters was a lot easier to follow. It appears (maybe) the law firm for Signatures creditor's who brought the original $8M lawsuit against the Laurita's is willing to settle for $400K against them. Although still subject to another adversary proceeding? and still maintain they are tre shady. They now say they weren't the real "masterminds" of the conspiracy to defraud Signature (now Iconix and/or ROC with people named Azrak?). I guess this group is objecting to the proposed $400K settlement - hey it was the Laurita's and not us cause the creditor's have added them to the complaint (apparently awhile ago) and are going after them for the real money? Azrak says only doing that cause the Laurita's don't have that kind of money (shocking) and cozy with the plaintiff (seems doubtful). Sorry long, but still very confusing to me. Not even sure if the above is anywhere near right or makes sense. The one document was 257 pages long (scanned). At least now I have something to do in my spare time. Bring on the Baileys!
  18. Additional non-custodial time to take care of the chickens is too funny. I was initially WTF about the chicken coop too wondering who was going to be around to tend that. I also agree the scope of crimes Mr. Nida committed (apparently again) make Blinky Boobs and Chuckles the Drink Driving Clown (try not to overuse that gem from another poster but always makes me giggle) look like K Mart shoplifters. Though I disagree about the Giudice's having any sense of shame. I can't see this getting continually postponed like the State case though. I think the Fed's want their pound of flesh sooner rather than later. I still don't believe Teresa is getting probation or "house arrest". Letting her pad around her tacky McMansion in a bathrobe and bedazzled slippers seems to make the whole effort pointless. But who knows?
  19. LotusFlower - well at least it ain't Rhode Island. I did read all the documents - the NJ Fed's seem to hate them like poison (I still speculate it's cause they had to watch all the episodes of RHNJ). I agree the ongoing DMV case is puzzling as it's gone on so long (not a lawyer so don't really know). I just don't think the Giudice's have the money or influence to pull something like that off (could be wrong). Have to add my sympathy for the loss of Juicy's father.
  20. Well I guess Teresa will be making that Fabellini party after all! That's awful about her FIL. I thought it was her father at first cause he's apparently in poor health - 63 is pretty young. He was at the monstrosity too at the time - I hope those poor girls weren't around. They have enough problems not of their own making. Hopefully Teresa will give it a rest with the Instagram photos for awhile. Not willing to bet on it though. If she posts one with them all dressed up for the funeral I will begin to wonder if she has an actual soul (shouldn't cast stones as mine is obviously in jeopardy - curse you Tori and Dean). Don't watch RHA, but did read the indictment on the case so looking forward to seeing at least one con artist getting sentenced on the 8th. I again have to question why these people join these shows while they're doing this kind of bullshit.
  21. Teresa maybe delusional but at least she's consistent! But on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised if she Instagrammed a picture of a rented pony with a horn taped to its head as the "Fabulicious" Unicorn she just bought for the girls. I personally think she has a date with a women's Federal minimum-security prison. No clue how long has to report after sentencing. Maybe she can make the Fabellini party! My original estimate after the indictment was at least 12 months (don't think the Feds would go to all this effort for house arrest). I've been very wrong before though so I guess we shall soon see. Oh god forgot to add. I hate that fucking GEICO lizard with every breath I take. May sound extreme for basically a cartoon on a commercial but can't help the way I feel (that goes for "Flo" too). Thank you baby Jesus for the DVR.
  22. Patssy - you don't think the Giudice girls will be getting scholarships to the likes of Yale? OK that was a little mean but couldn't help myself. The only ones in this sorry mess I feel any sympathy for are them. College fund? More like therapy fund. Maybe they can get a group discount with the Spelling-McDermott kids.
  23. Getting through the rest of the show little by excruciating little bit. Turns out it's not only the soul-searching icky factor, but that I find them to be not even remotely interesting. I'm admitting to being disappointed.
  24. Add me to the list to those who don't get it about those who generally love Teresa hate Melissa (and vice versa). To me they're the same annoying person. If there was a Miss Tacky Shallow USA it would be a close contest between the Winner and the First Runner Up. I think Teresa fans believe that Melissa came on the show to "take down her family" - like Teresa needed any help. I personally think if the stolen Louboutin was on the other foot, Teresa couldn't have run fast enough to join her SIL's "show".
  25. Hey peeps! Turns out my soul isn't as doomed as I thought. After watching 10 excruciating minutes at a time of the second to last episode I gave it up (going on vacation helped). Soul is probably still doomed though cause I know I'll get around to it (at least I'll be going to Hell with a good tan). As usual your comments are better than the actual show. Curse you Tori for putting me in the position where I actually may feel sorry for Dean.
