  1. Well Tweeting Amber hoping she drops dead of cancer is a little much - even though most of us are probably secretly wishing The Cancer makes a comeback. I just read her most recent blog. This chick goes on and on and on with the most unconvincing, convoluted rationalizations of her highly annoying behavior. Do yourself a favor Amber and STFU - it's not helping.
  2. Zoeysmom - Teresa was up to date on her mortgage payments on the monstrosity at least. Her lawyer mentioned it in the filing when they sought to have the trials separated.
  3. Zoeysmom - while I do think there were some shady dealings in the Signature BK, Chris apparently did own a pretty substantial business (unlike Juicy Joe the house/pizza flipper). I have to agree that Chris and Jaq never really flaunted their wealth (when they had it) unlike the Giudice's who never really had it to begin with (at least legally). I remember Chris saying that he had all of his remaining eggs tied up in BLK. Teresa meanwhile, in a worse situation, was still making substantial renovations in her house (porte cochere!) and always needing a new outfit cause she couldn't be seen on TV in the same one twice. That's what really bothers me.
  4. Oh goody - thanks for the memories with the FameWhorgas link. As the uninitiated can probably tell (hint - name), to take down Teresa wasn't what it was started for. Turned into a real little researcher though. Great public docs and links (and comments!). Though didn't always interpret the real estate implications correctly (remember not a lawyer, but an unfortunate RE expert). IMO - since FW was combing through public documents re the Gorga's (and anybody not Teresa) he/she read and ended up fully understanding the BK filings, the indictment, etc. The post(s) Zoeysmom linked I think are FW's final compilation/combination of her last couple of months. It's been crickets there ever since. I think she still probably likes Teresa more than the rest of them though. What are our rules here again for blogs? We seem to have a little more leeway than TWoP.
  5. I wanted to respond too about the Laurita's " stealing" from a cancer charity issue. I think it's total bullshit (no offense, but seems to be constantly repeated as one of their major "wrongs"). I read all the Signature BK filings and the ones related to the civil case (last filing was 300+ pages - oh joy). It was a license agreement with Susan B Komen. In exchange for being able to sell clothes with the trademark pink ribbon, Signature was going to give them a % of the profits with a minimum of $18K. Komen was listed as a creditor for only the $18K. To me this means the clothes never ended up being produced or sold. The most recent filing by the plaintiff's really concerned Russell Simmon's partner (forget his actual name). It basically said that license agreement (not Komen's) was improperly transferred out of Signature (you bet it was) before the BK to the benefit of Mr. X (he also has much deeper pockets). From what I could tell, there were concerns about retail floor space and clothing in warehouses they would lose access to if Signature went into BK. Maybe that's where Susan's pink ribbons ended up? For the 8,000th time, not a lawyer - but none of the actual lawyers here (bitches) wanted to read the crap. Y'all better be on the Fabellini list. I'm sure I lost everybody's attention three paragraphs ago - but it was 300+ pages.
  6. The mystery of the porte cochere is solved! The Giudice's started it after they filed for BK. I guess they couldn't wait to go out and start spending all that money they were sure they so cleverly hid from the BK court. Totally randomly saw a reference to the episode were Jaq calls out Teresa on her bullshit. Where Teresa was acting as if she was as Fabulicious as ever, but selling stories about her troubles to tabloids (who can forget My Life Without Joe and the golden retriever). By this point the BK Trustee had already accused them of filing a fraudulent petition so Teresa going to jail was also a possibility. But Teresa's still spending away. Jaq mentioned the spending sprees on the wine room, carport, garage and furniture. She forgot handbags.
  7. heebiejeebie -wasn't really able to get beyond the Federal Marshal's and "pre-emptive" lice. Why aren't you playing the "Mitigation"/"Aggravation" factor re sentencing? Are you interested in some Fabellini?
  8. zenme - you beat me (well Mr DC) to it. I actually got a fleeting "are you stupid look". Then I explained about Amber. We both missed it on the show last night (see terminally bored) and he really would like to stop watching. He's evil too though and wants to witness Giudice's downfall. His HBtoH includes inappropriate Gators and Cleveland sport team memorabilia.
  9. Did Amber actually say "lentil"? Although my husband reminds me how I'm not really Catholic. Something about no confession since Confirmation but take Communion (the rare times I hit Mass), but I think he just wants out. But is there possibly a "lental" season? See apparently not really Catholic and prior confusion over the "lying" vs "laying". Thanks for helping me out, good to know though I got it right the first time. Could be as much fun as Melissa hitchhiking to Burger King to poop (unfortunately we have no video evidence of that). Whatever happened to Quaintirene (TWoP)? Edited to after putting this question to my fallen-Catholic husband. It's "Lenten".
  10. I think I'm about to expire from boredom.
  11. diorella - that would be fun, but I assume the Previously TV forum posters who tweet have been blocked at this point.
  12. Oh yes - we're on our own re Gators. My husband's on his fifth bourbon (I'm on the fourth of sheer boredom). But God may have more interest vs Teresa (more Tim Tebow, less Aaron Hernandez).
  13. I think it's laying not lying on the floor. Excuse is that lying has been a big part of our conversation.
  14. I don't think Juicy will end up getting deported either. He's not exactly a danger to society (well I guess unless he's behind the wheel) and has pretty strong ties here that I would think call for our "mitigation" theory. I think it's curious though that "inside sources" think he will, while Teresa still only gets house arrest. IMO the chances of both are about the same. Excuse any spelling/grammar. At a bar with my insane Florida Gator husband watching a pretty dreadful performance. I was thinking about lying on the floor and praying to get God to intervene, but I don't think he gets involved with college football either (contrary to some opinions).
  15. Higgins - yes, that's what I thought I said. By taking a plea they will likely get a lesser sentence for each count then if they took those same 4 counts (Teresa) to trial and were found guilty. That's why they pled (not to mention those other pesky 25+ counts). I didn't think it was ever going to trial. We're all agreeing to disagree about the actual sentence. I agree that Teresa's convictions (soon to be) are mainly based on her individual crimes. They did both plea to the first count of the indictment - overall conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud (a real doozy). Maybe in that case she had a "conspirator" to argue relative responsibility. But Joe and her both had several sole charges in the indictment on that one. I just can't get past her BK concealment and perjury pleas. She tried to hide all of her earnings related to RHNJ ($150K+ bank account, non-executed book contract and executed contract documenting her hefty salary increase). Then she lied about it and lied about it some more. By this point, I have to assume that it was explained to her (possibly slowly) what the penalty of perjury was. Not just footnotes at the bottom of a page in a loan document. Sorry long - really wanted to get back to Mitigation vs Aggravation. Higgins - you seem clever, want to join. You're obviously not getting Fabellini with me.
  16. The porta cochere was always my husband's favorite. Not sure when it was added, but hubby's been pointing it out for at least a year. I'm not sure which is funnier, how out of proportion it is to the rest of house or that it doesn't seem to have an entrance to the house either. It looks like there's a retaining wall blocking the way.
  17. I think I'm done for now, as I can't think of anything to top the dogs eating the chickens. And the non-denominational comment kinda topped it off. I'll think about it overnight. Aggravating though maybe possibly be something about screeching and Chanel.
  18. I want to play too - Mitigation vs Aggravation. Don't think I can beat LotusFlower though (where's bosawks when you need him). This is like VP one-liner fun. Mitigation - I would do a fake-eyelash joke, but hair extensions got there first. But here I go. Mitigation - need someone to watch the chicken coop Aggravation - Juicy and Teresa filming the pizza parlor and apartments above that they neglected to include in the BK petition.
  19. zoeysmom - is all garnishment only for the forfeiture/fines and not the creditors? With the exception for the IRS. Since I didn't know the particulars and was only thinking about the BK (the not a lawyer thing), I was perplexed about getting a judgement from a criminal court to pay off the BK debts (if you give credit you're somewhat responsible too). One of my best friends had to go to court to get garnishment for child support payments (shameful), but I didn't know that a criminal court judge cared about the infinitesimal addition to the Wells Fargo cash flow.
  20. Higgins - it's not a trial anymore. That's over. It's now just sentencing (but I think you know that and misspoke). Teresa pled to four counts, which ended up being one of each overall crime she was charged with. (1) conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud (2) failure to file taxes (3) concealment BK (4) false statements during BK proceedings. There were 41 counts because several of these applied to each instance. Are you a Teresa fan? It only matters cause maybe I can get you to order some Fabellini too. They need the money. I hold the line at Milania hair care though.
  21. Jim's tweeting seems to be slowing down. I checked it today for the first time in two (progress!) and it only took 10 or so minutes to go through them. That's generally half-days work for Mr. Marchese. And thankfully ya'll post almost all the notable ones. Disappointing. Is Weasel losing heart? Though he seems to be somewhat going after all of them now. He even had a nasty one about the Giudice's stealing money. Well I guess they did, but your wife was bizarrely crying her eyes about it last episode. I had a moments glory thinking maybe he was reading this board given the far above Previously TV tweet. But alas, I think he was just retweeting (seems to love that as much as actual tweeting) the episode summary that was tweeted to him. Remember - we have the spelling, grammar and punctuation of at least a sixth grader. I hate you Jim Marchese - just for the reason I actually just had to say "tweet" a dozen times.
  22. I agree with LotusFlower - the Giudice's taking the plea was the something "advantageous" to them. Otherwise if they took this debacle to court they could possibly be found guilty and sentenced on each count and facing stricter sentencing guidelines (according to my Federal prosecutor friend). Being this case was basically document driven I'm pretty sure the Feds had the goods on them. They should have looked closer at the "I attest on penalty of perjury that the above is true and correct". I don't get that she'd get probation or house arrest so she'd be able to earn and have more money to pay back her debt. I've never heard that before except in connection to this case. The BK is over, I didn't think the criminal judge could compel them to pay to or garnish wages. I thought that was now up to the creditors to go after them on their own. The IRS doesn't need the Judge to get their money. They can do that on their own quite well. I know they have to show up with $200k maybe that's fine related? Edited to add I pray for "restitution whore". But unfortunately I don't think God listens to my petty dreams (or jail time re larceny).
  23. Oh I guess I'll get some of Kathy's cannollis to go with the Fabellini.
  24. jaync - normally I wouldn't either but think I'll make an exception this time. Added bonus - apparently Fabellini did wonders for bosawks. If I only knew. But I certainly wouldn't call you a bitch for taking the moral high ground. I'm only referring to us bitches who don't mind putting some spare (very spare) change in the Giudice's pocket for our own amusement. We're the ones already plotting out our trip to Hell.
