Rhetorica - you're funny too. Did you really? Then I guess you're all in. First volunteer! Pony up bitches. You know you want to.
-
Giselle- you're viciously funny (South Park fan too?). You've given Bosawks a run for his/her money. I'm curious too if Teresa's fans aren't watching since they know it ain't ending well. They should buy more products at least (she needs the money). I'm willing to do my share. Anybody else up for ordering Fabellini on-line as the alcohol for sentencing?

Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
Jennifersdc replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
From other thread. I'm curious if Teresa actually put the monstrosity up for sale (at a bargain $4M). NJ.com is now posting it and they're generally more reliable then most. The beach house is definitely up (Trulia link). That's only $315K - and I think I remember it's mortgaged for about $500K (ridiculous mortgage payments current). I always thought the marble-onyx horror was worth more then what the BK trustee said when he filed not to pursue it. It was slightly over the loan ($1.6M?) and wouldn't be worth the closing costs to sell. Based on my "vast" real estate experience (absolutely none in NJ residential real estate!) I figured it was worth at least $2.5M (possibly way off - but pretty sure not $4M). So I was suspicious. I thought maybe they were holding it back for the criminal court asset surrender. Now I'm also thinking it may be part of the final plea deal (thanks again for the Financial Disclosure statement!). Conspiring minds want to know (well mine). -

I'm also obviously tired of Teresa portraying herself as a "victim" (still watching). Can't convince me she didn't know what was going on (see indictment and subsequent filings). Though I don't really see Bravo (or production company?) portraying her that way either. Loved the view of the 500+ sf master bedroom. But yes, happykitteh - I too think Teresa was in it up to her fake eyelashes. I'm in real estate, and you can't habitually close loans with only a fake notary seal. The Fed's were very specific in their rebuttal (funny for a legal document) to the G's motion to separate the trials+. They said probably loans/guarantees/joint ventures were taken out in Teresa's name without her direct participation, but they were only charging her with those that they knew she had direct participation in. Ouch. And then they called Juicy a liar (see funny). Still have my semi-Juicy crush though. Long, so won't get too much into again how I think the BK charges could be worse for them. Lie, lie and lie again! Could be an old SNL "Bad Idea" jeans skit. -

Thank you for the reminder - that drives me crazy too. From Day 1 and thru today Teresa acts like this is all Joe's "problem". Like she hasn't pled guilty to several of her own felonies. -
Amber, Amber, Amber....you maybe the most unlikable person I've ever seen on reality TV (at least Stassi from VP can be funny) - congratulations. I'm with those who think her and the little man watched a lot of reality TV to see how they could make the most impact. Unfortunately for them though, I think they thought they are actually be likable. Has Weasel really stopped tweeting - please say it ain't so? Though if Dina told him to stop before he got his wife fired - that's hysterical. IMO re talking about Teresa's financial and legal issues on camera - she's on a faux "reality TV" show, supposedly about her life. I'd give her some slack, except she knew what financial troubles they were in (and then knew enough to lie about it to the BK court) and was still acting like there was the "money tree" in the backyard. Chanel in Italy? Audriana's christening? New Mercedes? Anniversary ring she originally wanted the viewing audience to think was a huge yellow diamond? I could go on.... Since I'm convinced she lies pretty easily, I think she's known about the addition of potential legal problems for a lot longer then she admits. I did after reading the BK Trustees first filing years ago where he basically called them liars. Still don't see any real effort to tone the lifestyle down. The paper plates at Gia's birthday party in Season 3? doesn't count. Lablover - just saw and glad doggie's OK. Lost the world's coolest dog (Akita/border collie) to bloat. Like to add the picture option (not likely for the girl who can't figure out the quote option) to show off either him or his sweet and gorgeous successor (Akita/lab) although since he's not very cool his nickname is Pussy (mostly shortened to Puss for the nephews and vulgarity sakes).

Maybe the delay is that they need to file more amendments to the above referenced financial disclosure statements (thanks - let's all keep our eyes for that). The Fed's did give them numerous opportunities before to fix their BK filings. As it appears the G's ain't that bright, maybe they've needed a couple of reminders from their lawyer that they can't lie. Or maybe they're still negotiating about my favorite, the forfeiture. So mean - I'm a very bad person. No indictments yet though! -

Gretchenfetchen (?) do you think that we could actually see a financial statement from the Giudice's? That would be awesome. They owe a lot more than $200K in taxes though (which yes, they have to show up to court with at or before sentencing). Down payment maybe? Didn't quite get what you posted above though. I'm not a lawyer, but your quote above seems to say that you actually can't get off because people depend on you. Again, not a lawyer. Legal peeps - what's " departure"? -

Yes - Tik Tok three weeks to go. I fully admit to disappointment with the continuance (HBtoH). But I don't think it'll be like Juicy's interminable DMV case. Again - I'd be shocked if she didn't get some jail time. Too much work went into it and I can't remember anyone in relatively "high" profile (you're still D-List Teresa) case like this getting off with a slap on the wrist (ie, probation). Well, I guess unless you actually murder someone. I'm most curious about the forfeiture. I did read the plea agreement for the first time (thanks for link), assets obtained through the fraud or the like in-place. Will there be a handbag auction? She's generally not my taste, but I could probably pick up a $3K retail one fairly cheap. And I'd be helping the taxpayers too. What I would really like to see is their true asset statement. How much does Teresa make off her RH salary and over saturated product's? I've never believed the $650K salary number. Most of these "ladies" would probably pay to be on the show. -

I don't think that means what they think it means from the above article. BK Trustee seems to be finalizing his involvement. The Giudice's aren't in BK anymore. They still owe $13M whatever and the creditor's are free to pursue them. Good luck. -
In the world according to the Whale's Vagina - Bobby was so desperate to get on RHNJ that he went to the casting calls to pick up potential cast members? How does that work? I didn't know they advertised for Bachelor's to join a RH show. Maybe he went to the wrong room? He does appear to have real money. Refreshing how he hasn't mentioned it yet, especially after watching the broke bitches flaunt it like they have it. Oh I forgot - Jim was involved in hiring and auditioning HW's. IMO the best is that I'm not sure he can keep up with his Twitter story's (delicious little treat - apologies to Twitter for being a doubting Thomas). I thought Amber didn't know what of three shows she'd get (WTF?), all would have highlighted Bobby as a husband's "friend"? No possibility he'd end up in the same room as the Giudice's based on the NJ locale? Just added orchids to the hand basket to Hell (at least they'll do well in the heat). Edited for one small grammar mistake - Jim is making me a little paranoid.
-
Sorry - need to correct the above. I'm proudly not one of the 60K who watched Cabin Fever. Although had no idea it was on and could actually be able to watch it. But I think I'm so scarred by True Tori that I couldn't bring myself to watch. Candy's second book though? No need Lablover - I already got it. Really didn't need to hear about the post-Aaron sex life.

Once again! Congratulations to the Marchese's making the Giudice's and Gorga's look good! I may now be somewhat addicted to his Twitter account (meaning I check it at least twice day). The misspellings, threats of prosecution, the engaging of minors in Twitter War's and insulting someone's mother about salacious gossip that really doesn't even concern you! Unlike Jim Marchese, I was smart enough to double-check that I spelled "misspellings" right. Admit still not 100% on the use of the possessive XXX's. I tell myself it's an either/or thing sometimes. Luckily I'm not on Twitter making a total fool of myself. Congratulations yet another time Jim! You actually make Dean McDermott good (maybe that's taking it a little too far). In total agreement with the poster's above who think Amber's introduction to D-List fame didn't quite work the way they thought it would. Here's a free hint, if you're a total asshole don't come on reality TV. Though I guess that applies to many. We maybe going to Hell, but at least we wouldn't appear on a RH or similar reality show. True Tori anybody?

atir - there are apparently a few actual lawyers on this site (LuckyBitch I'm sure) who have access to the database (Lexis-Nexus?) that lists every single attorney with an active law license and even those who have passed the bar (correct me if wrong). They may had to search by state, but I'm thinking they're intrepid enough (and scarily like me too interested) to cover all the bases. Did he say at one point he passed the NJ bar and there's no record of that? Thanks for the new drinking game (not) - I'd be in the hospital - and I was heavily involved in the Vanderpump Rules drinking game. -

Oh Baby Jesus - the hair. It makes Penny's "I Anally Raped a Pony" from last season look good. Isn't Victoria Gotti supposed to be all about "family" and "respect"? OK - maybe her ideals are a little warped given her father was a stone-cold killer (who she's very proud of), but how would she feel if somebody said something like that on TV about her mother? I think we'd be hearing a lot about the aforementioned "family" and "respect". I guess maybe she's just desperate for attention. When's the last time anybody actually talked about her? -

I think Teresa's going to do some time just based on the BK fraud. She just didn't lie in the initial filing, but also several instances (under oath) subsequently. I think it's possible if it was just the mortgage stuff she could get away with just probation. The Feds hate being lied to (see Martha Stewart). The Feds say they still never filed correct BK amendments, even after to admitting to some stuff under oath. -

Didn't Victoria Gotti once claim she had breast cancer? Just sayin... First of all who says something like that on camera? Apparently Victoria Gotti. I don't doubt she knows Rino, I think the Gambinos used Little Italy as their home base and it's a pretty tiny neighborhood. Loved how Amber squealed like a little piglet when she heard. Her and her husband are made for each other. -
This is really the only one thing I don't like about this website, can't see the most recent postings. Randomly read Tori's first book after seeing it in the airport a bunch (thank god for Kindle). If she wasn't Aaron Spellings daughter though, I'm not sure anybody would still be interested. Surprisingly enough I enjoyed her first book enough to get the rest. I'd like to say I wouldn't be one of the 60K who watched Cabin Fever in Canada, but that wouldn't be true. Although I did stop watching True Tori (never watched the reality show before). I'm actually posting now cause I just read Candy Spelling's book (god help me). She was actually pretty gracious about her daughter (IMO). She did say something that made me think more about Tori's (now apparent) bullshit. Tori Spelling (and her children) have a fairly healthy trust fund in addition to her paltry inheritance (I was actually with her on that). Duh - of course she does.

Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...

I guess the "rat" thing always confused me. Juicy's not in the mob and I don't think his life is in risk from mortgage brokers, underwriters and closers. I also think Teresa would do anything to save her own skin if possible. Thanks for the reminder about the beach house. It has three mortgages on it (in her name) for the full equity value even before the crash. I don't think that or the monstrosity are in foreclosure, so she's paying a ridiculous amount a month to keep both houses. Don't quote me, but I think the beach house is mortgaged for about $500K, and it's worth about $300K. It was in the BK and other filings. Every time you take out an additional loan on real estate you're diluting the equity, so the interest rate for each consecutive loan is significantly higher. I can figure out pretty close to what she's paying if anybody is interested. It's called a short sale Teresa - look it up. I obviously don't know her personally, but is she really that delusional (see college fund) or possibly really feels that she needs to keep up appearances for as long as possible? Oh, I know - she's worried about their credit. Still looking forward to Juicy tonight (just added peonies to my hand basket to Hell). -

jinjer - the Guidice's haven't paid back a single creditor (re the final Trustee filing). They paid a fairly minimal amount early on (pre indictment) to not get their furniture and fixtures auctioned off. God help me for knowing this. Time will tell, but I guess I'm in the minority thinking Teresa's going to prison (at least it will be Fed). Even before I read the indictment (it's a doozy BTW) with my half-ass legal knowledge I thought she'd be lucky to get off with a year. -

Don't know how I missed this topic for so long, since I love to pontificate on how I think the Guidice's are going to jail. Bad Jen - see our common hand basket to Hell (and liking Juicy). But only a laymen in law, but read and on a bad day negotiate contracts (see previous unfortunate commercial real estate expertise). So I understood the indictment since it's mostly real estate related, but not the sentencing implications to the degree above. Though I was pretty sure from the start they should plea. Reaffirmed by my DOJ ADA good friend. In the 15 minute conversation (Yay margaritas - and I was harassed by the spouses), the first thing she said was "take a plea people, for god's sake take a plea". Thanks for explaining for a bunch of the above in terms of sentencing (I did know about the fed guidelines - but it turns out we have a pretty knowledgable bunch). My initial feeling was that Teresa would not get less than a year. I think I'm still sticking with that, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. -

Yes - I agree, we only have ourselves to blame. God help us (and I'm not even that particularly religious). -
Jim Marchese's Twitter is fabulous! Thanks for the link. I generally avoid Twitter but part of me is tempted to sign up to get it in all it's instant glory (especially all the spelling mistakes from Mr. High IQ). Loved the Faux Reality article as I recall that was the horrible Penny's mouthpiece. I try not to mention her name and give her the attention she obviously craves - but I made an exception. He's in great company! I read that indictment he keeps mentioning that supposedly proves he's some sort of mortgage fraud crusader. Although I notice on Twitter he previously said how it was so double-secret he couldn't mention it. His story is total bullshit - it's a mortgage fraud case out of the same AG's office, probably not even the same individual prosecutors. Given the size of the fraud hard to believe it's "the biggest fraud case in NJ history"! Case covers over a dozen loans of which his company had like two. He's a possible witness to that at most. There was a weird attempted murder thing cause somebody from his office (not him) told one of the defendants his company was issued a subpoena. I guess I missed where the Giudice's tried to have somebody killed. And they weren't using "straw" buyers either (same false docs story though). His claims for conflict are beyond specious IMO. I still continue to think he's just an asshole (apologies to my ass).

Congratulations Marcheses! You actually made the Giudices and Gorgas look good! And that's really hard to do. I won't reiterate again what an obnoxious little pussy Jim Marchese is. Apologies to my 100-lb Akita mix as that's his nickname (we're pretty sure he thinks it means "good dog"). Ya'll have covered that so snarkily wonderfully. While watching though I did say to my husband "did they really put chickens next to the dog kennel?". Saw later how that worked out. I mean I know they're not exactly Mensa candidates (unlike Amber and Jim!) - but really? My husband is the one who noticed the "fireman" mural. He went WTF is that? It looks like the Thomas the Train mural my BIL painted in my 3-yr old nephews bedroom (except my BIL has actual talent). And yes, I think it's permanent too. But kudos again to Juicy for continuing to be the most entertaining person on the show. Him putting on the badge and pretending to be Jim the ADA was pretty funny. If he wasn't going to jail IMO he'd be the one who should get the spin-off (as long as I didn't have to watch Teresa for prolonged periods). Which is my last point. Why didn't these bitches (namaste) take off their eye make-up for the facial? Teresa's looked particularly horrid. Time for a new make-up artist. -
RHONJ Ratings Dump: A sign of things to come?

Caroline was always my husband's favorite - quite frankly I ended up being done with the holier than thou attitude (given she willingly appeared on this schlock). I actually even thought her sons were more realistic than her about their "accomplishments". I even thought they could be funny (ie. whenever Joe Giudice does anything - does he think "legal or illegal"?). But my favorite was always Al's reaction to Teresa's Punta Cana bikini fashion show and Caroline's ensuing migraine. Later season when they were packing for another trip he goes "well if it's as much fun as Punta Cana" then split to Teresa packing and showing off the collection of incredibly tacky bikinis to her daughters (can she sell those?). Priceless. Looking back, my apologies to Caroline. Would love to see her reaction to the new "ladies". She was obviously done though and doesn't need the money.
