  1. Well that was anything but shocking. Ashley blamed it on the FB texts. Then fesses up in the TH that she never was into him. David continues his line of bull until Ashley rejects him and then he says she was never in it. So we all saw it. He saw it. Yet he blathered on about falling in love and that maybe she didn't feel it yet but would. More BS. It was a 6 week commitment. What exactly did David pay for? The show paid for the housing. Any outings were also paid for by the show. I totally think Sam has been sucking up to Neal, giving him just a little affection and attention so he doesn't dump her on camera. Hopefully, its as obvious to Neal too.
  2. Yea, any ones that Armando Montelango did.
  3. Yes! They are finally showing newer episodes of Match Game (where they introduced the star wheel) and Tattletales,
  4. Ugh, I guess Emily is now going to have other friends smear Mitch. Mitch said he had to put a lock on his bedroom door because Emily was afraid people were going to steal stuff. Now a friend is saying that there was drug use by others in Mitch's room. OK. Wouldn't these other people just use their own room?
  5. I think it was more of a blanket denial according to the above screenshots. There might be other tweets from her but I don't follow the cast on Twitter so I may not have seen those.
  6. David's version. Maybe 100% accurate. Maybe not. What he is saying though, is that it involved his brother. That would seem to me then, that his sister would have known about this. Yet didn't his sister deny that the David T. Norton in the AZ case was her brother? I hope that it was just a case on temporary rage and that he learned how to manage it going forward.
  7. haha. I think they were being towed by the camera truck. Well it looks like Christina and Tom will last as long as Tom keeps romancing her. Chandler dodged a bullet. John's face gets so dark. Like Ted Bundy, his face goes from charming to serial killer. Emily is a rotten actress. Couldn't even keep the smirk off her face when she was trying to make Mitch's pain her pain. Disgraceful how she keeps questioning Mitch's sexuality on camera. Just not cool. And she'd blaming it all on editing. Riiiiiiiiiight. Marivic still living at home.
  8. Nope. I don't think that's been sussed out yet. According to David, it's someone they both knew (he backed off the friend claim). Ashley said the girl was a friend of a friend and she knew her tangentially. I'd wager a bet that it was someone in an outer circle. Maybe it'll come out in the reunion. Probably not though!
  9. I think the text convo went nothing like that. David never said he mentioned Ashley in the FB message to the other girl and acknowledged his word choice was bad. Ashley said she had a screen shot of the message and her name wasn't mentioned. The other girl supposedly didn't want to meet David and that's why she told Ashley's friend about it. Your account puts it all on the other girl that it was her idea and neither David or Ashley made that claim. I think Ashley (or this girl) should show the screenshots. All we have are what both David and Ashley said on the show and both said that David asked this girl if he could call her up and ask her out for drinks. That they agree on.
  10. Have we heard from David (or his mother) how long his prior relationships have been? I didn't see the first couple of episodes so I may have missed that info. Thanks.
  11. http://www.aetv.com/shows/married-at-first-sight/season-3/episode-13/preview-final-decision-pt-1 Sneak preview! David says he's never had another relationship grow so much in 6 weeks. Say what? What happened in all his other relationships at the 6 week mark?
  12. Sounds like an episode of Big Bang Theory when Leonard asks Penny out and she thinks it's a group outing when it was a date. Leonard didn't make it clear that it was just the 2 of them and was a date in her mind. Penny didn't think of a date because she had zero interest in dating any of them and they had always done things as a group. WRT this show, this acquaintance that David reached out to wasn't in his (or their) immediate social circle and wasn't used to being asked to join in group activities by him.
  13. (bolding mine) If we are to believe that his mother wrote that, then I think his intentions are pretty clear. "David refused until they told him how much they would pay him." Not David refused until he learned that he could skip all the dating part that he sucks at (by his own admission) and wind up married to his soul mate... no, it's 'how much they would pay him". No need to infer, the intention is laid out. Is Tinder solely a hook-up site? No, but is it the go-to dating site for marriage minded folks? I think that answer is also no. I agree that using a dating site in general isn't a bad way to go. Tinder is an interesting choice because it's kinda like the old AOL Am I Hot feature where it's all about initial impressions. OKCupid is another hook-up site but people claim to have met their future spouse on there. Not impossible, but is it probable? Match claims the most marriages. EHarmony claims the highest success rate (percent versus quantity). I'd feel the show would get more qualified participants if they advertised on the sites instead of tricking members by asking them out on dates.
  14. (bolding mine) If what David's mother said is true, then David did it for the money. Is that more honorable than doing it to make someone else jealous? I don't like Ashley and I don't think she's a good fit for the show. I am not sure though how she's the worst people to ever live and deserving of such outrage and anger on these boards and other sites. I also don't like David based on what I have seen on the show. I don't think he's the worst person ever either nor do I think he's some poor rube who is being hoodwinked by devious Ashley. He doesn't get my sympathy. He seems to have gone into this for his own reasons and with eyes wide open. On this show, I'd vote for Sam being the worst for how she spoke to Neil on camera.
  15. Who knows how much of what either tweet are true? Thomas claims he doesn't have to pay child support but he does. Kathryn has often stated that he doesn't pay consistently. Thomas says Kathryn only lets him see the kids 4 days a month and that the court won't back him since he's never married her. K says Thomas isn't around to see the kids. Some say Thomas doesn't want to go to court to get visitation because then the court would decide what he has to pay and when and it would be tracked. That's a possibility. It's also possible that Thomas can see the kids more often but prefers to see them when he decides (versus a set out schedule) and K gets pissy about that. It's a shame that in 2 years, the kids will be more mature than their parents.
  16. Agree with the first sentence. And I think it answers the first question. Maybe the acquaintance did misinterpret David's message but she supposedly sent screenshots to Ashley so not sure that qualifies for a game of telephone. David by now (especially as a salesman) should know how to communicate and send a clear message / signal. My opinion was that he was feeling this other girl out and was open to see where it would go. 10 to 1, this other girl is attractive.
  17. Sounds believable. I know when I want to get 'intel' on someone, I Facebook friend someone they tangentially know and then message them if I can call them up and ask them out for drinks without mentioning the purpose of the meet-up or the 'someone's name. Because an acquaintance would surely have great insight. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. /s
  18. Maybe Ashley thought she should try a different kind of guy and agreed to be more open. But then reality hit and she decided that she really wanted what she wanted and wasn't open after all. Most people have a type and stick with it. I don't think we know yet what her 'sole' motive is. Can't agree that David was sincerely looking for someone to share his life. Though he did say he sucked at dating and I think I'd agree with him on that. To me, it looked like David wanted insta-wife and it didn't matter who it was as long as she was attractive and played the role that he envisioned. Posters rail on Ashley for being a robot, a cold hearted bitch, who hasn't given David any affection or attention. How then is she toying with him? How is she confusing him? She's been consistent -- fairly distant and aloof on camera all along. All the 'toying' comes from David's assertions of "falling in love" etc that don't seem to be borne out of anything we see on TV. Not sure how they found Tres but that's how they found David. It was linked to many pages back.
  19. I thought the cupcake in the backpack was a regift. Maybe everyone got one after finals. Then because David was all pouty about her being late for dinner, she gifted it to him. #jmo
  20. Christina bills herself as the "romance travel expert". Says she specializes in American Express Travel vacations and luxury dance groups. I'd think Disney would be a better match for her fairy tale ideas. I didn't realize she was from Charleston WVA and moved to Charleston SC. She worked for AAA for 11 years in WVA and then moves to SC to start her own travel agency. Bold. Did she mention a failed romance back in WVA? I missed the start of this series so not familiar with all the back stories. On her business FB page, Christina tells people to wait until next week. At least she doesn't claim 'editing' like some people do! www.facebook.com/Christina-Rollyson-751245868314679/ According to an interview she gave the Knot, it seems like they are still together:
  21. Caught a couple episodes on DIY. Not buying the countertop dilemma. Home Depot sells Wilsonart laminate and red is easily available. Linoleum would be the period floor choice but she does wood in the kitchen. In the bathroom black and blue is period but not the taupe grey tiles that she used throughout most of it. garage doors certainly would not be period for the pool house. Since her grandparents aren't going to be living in it, and she doesn't do mid-century, why all the pretense? Why not just call it a remodel? I'm not a fan of the duck paneling but in small doses, it's probably funny and quaintly nostalgic. Is this place located in a touristy area? How likely is it to be rented often on AirBNB? Near a college? She mentioned having lots of cousins. Wonder if they'll show up for the grand reveal.
  22. David's father is buried outside of Buffalo NY where they lived. His family is still there. I'd imagine that David has been back to visit friends/family sometime in the last 8-9 years. What seems fake to me is that he has claimed that it was the producers idea and he's also claimed that he'd never use his father's death for a story line. Well... Feels like more double talk. Ashley is vile because she didn't have pure intentions according to some posters. Vile. OK. Yet, David was on Tinder looking for hook-ups when a producer asked him out and then got him to try out for this show. David constantly spouts illogical remarks about how he's falling for his wife and will do anything to make the relationship work and he thinks things are going well or improving; he's either lying or delusional. His salesman skills are showing. As are Tres'.
  23. OMG this tweet response to K was riotously funny:
  24. What's the significance of the June activity? Is it all related to an inquiry?
  25. Agreed. I don't even think friendship with Sam would be healthy for Neil. Might help Sam a bit, maybe. Who needs counseling? Every single one of these people. I don't think anyone of them are in good shape to get married. Way too many hang-ups, baggage and unrealistic expectations.
