(Oliver was the name of Empty Nest's Charley in the back-door pilot episode of Empty Nest).

B is for the baseball uniforms they wore when playing in a charity softball game.  (I think it was Blanche and Rose, but I'm not positive.)

C is for the construction paper garland the embellishment on Dorothy's hideous wedding dress resembled.

Q is for the Quiet clothes Rose's date said he wore when trying to convince Rose to let him spend the night.  And then he died in her bed.

R is for the Rusty Anchor red dress.

S is for Dorothy's mink stole that Blanche wanted to borrow.  "It's Miami in June; only cats are wearing fur!"  It was stolen when their house was burglarized, but the police recovered it when they caught the burglars.  (Because, while they could sell Blanche's jewelry - had it not been in safely tucked away in the freezer - nobody wears stoles anymore.)

 

Of course, S is also for the many sequined gowns and sweaters we saw over the years.

V is for Vest, the furry one Sophia wore as Sonny Bono for the mother-daughter talent show. She really rocked that mustache and headband!

E is for an Easier trip to New Jersey, so Sophia and Dorothy would have been able to see Phil and his family more.

F is for the Funeral they could have had for Phil near where he actually lived - instead of flying the body to Miami.

G is for Gambling. With the casinos in Atlantic City in close proximity, the Girls can indulge. Except they'll have to keep a close watch on Dorothy.
