Lantern7 July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 Christopher Eccleston open to coming back to Heroes. Dude, do not tease us about that. Maybe it's because Claude was only seen in the first season, but there was something so magical about how he shoved Peter off the roof of a tall building in order to get him to fly. 3 Link to comment

Kromm February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 Notice the placement of HRG and Levi. It implies Zach's character is spying on HRG every bit as much as the person with powers (or at the very least is some kind of opposing force--which would probably make him the "heavy" of the series, since they left HRG on the side of the Angels near the end). Trini June 25, 2015 Share June 25, 2015 Synopsis and teaser trailer for Reborn: From creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC's original critically-acclaimed 2006 "Heroes" series, comes "Heroes Reborn," an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives. Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, "Chuck") and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss. Noah Bennet, aka H.R.G. (Jack Coleman, "Heroes"), has gone off the grid but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski, "A to Z") finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy. While in hiding, some are discovering their newfound skills. Awkward teen Tommy (Robbie Kay, "Once Upon a Time") just wants to be normal and win the girl of his dreams, Emily (Gatlin Green, "Criminal Minds"), but normalcy is virtually impossible after learning of a new ability that terrifies him. Coming from a very sheltered upbringing, a bold and ethereal teenager, Malina (Danika Yarosh, "Shameless"), has been told she is destined for greatness. In Tokyo, a quiet and unique young woman, Miko (Kiki Sukezane, "Death Yankee 3"), is trying to track down her missing father while hiding an extraordinary secret that will make her a force to be reckoned with. Elsewhere, a different type of hero is emerging through former soldier Carlos (Ryan Guzman, "The Boy Next Door"). Meanwhile, Erica (Rya Kihlstedt, "Masters of Sex"), the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate Renautas, has an agenda of her own. For better or for worse, some are fated to cross paths with assorted heroes of the past, including Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis), among others. Yet, together, their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world and mankind.Read more at http://www.thefutoncritic.com/video/2015/06/25/video-new-footage-revealed-as-nbc-launches-new-60-second-trailer-of-heroes-reborn-705014/20150625nbc02/#p0pfPk5E73QJOOTK.99 https://youtu.be/BHClJhC8Wfs 2 Link to comment

ottoDbusdriver June 27, 2015 Share June 27, 2015 I wish they would drop the nonsense with the eclipse somehow triggering people with powers -- when all the retconning after Season 1 in the original series showed that "Heroes" had been around for years well before that happened. Link to comment
MarkHB June 27, 2015 Share June 27, 2015 I don't know if they're using that as a trigger or if it's just a reference to the signature of the show. The idea that the eclipse triggered the powers was itself a retcon, in S3 when they said "what if another eclipse took their powers away?" 1 Link to comment
MarkHB July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 Entertainment Weekly has 5 ways NBC's revival seeks to avoid past mistakes Another benefit of the current schedule, Kring notes, is nearly the whole series will be shot before an episode has aired. “We won’t be really subject to the idea of ‘fan favorites’ and all that,” he said. “We’re gonna be in the can and committed to the story that we’re telling.” 1 Link to comment

bagert July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 Yeah, this one right above was shown yesterday (July 12) at the San Diego ComicCon in their largest room, and then released to the general public through YouTube. All the returning characters identified so far in the media were in the trailer: Noah, Hiro, Angela, the Haitian, Mohinder and Micah (who so grown-up now, they made sure on the trailer to show him saying "Call me Micah" so you'd know who he was LOL). As seen from previous trailers, this Hiro is like the future Hiro who famously told Peter "Save the cheerleader, save the world". Tim Kring (I believe) said that Milo wasn't available due to the timing - the first I've seen be said that Milo is showing any willingness to return for a guest appearance. (I can't remember who wrote that and can't find it, though.) 1 Link to comment

MarkHB July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 For those who haven't heard, Heroes Reborn has an app (now for both Android and iOS). By way of comparison, when the original series went off the air in 2010, the current version of the iPhone was the 3GS, Google had yet to release Froyo, and Instagram was not yet available. Trini July 23, 2015 Share July 23, 2015 Also, are they doing online comics like when the original series aired? Link to comment
MarkHB July 24, 2015 Share July 24, 2015 I have no idea on the online comics (and it aggravates me that the originals have been taken down, even though many were never collected into books). And all I'll say is that, so far as I know, the prequel is intended to be exclusive to app users; given that Suicide Squad and Deadpool have recently demonstrated that people don't seem to appreciate exclusivity even when it's something they've made a decent investment in and stayed out all night to see, I wouldn't be surprised if the prequel finds its way online. Trini July 24, 2015 Share July 24, 2015 Really? I thought all the comics got published; or was it just the first couple of seasons? I'll have to look that up. Link to comment

MarkHB August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 Interview with Jack Coleman Den of Geek: Is getting the glasses back like Indiana Jones putting on his hat and jacket with his whip? Jack Coleman: Yeah, it’s kind of awesome actually. I told people the first go round that the glasses do most of the acting. So just putting them back on was a wonderful, familiar feeling. The first time I put them on, for the first hour or so felt a little like Halloween dress up. Very quickly it came back to the character, the heart and the show. Minor spoilers. Link to comment

Jenniferbug September 22, 2015 Share September 22, 2015 Thanks for posting the sneak peeks! So in the one with the sword wielding Japanese girl (Miko?), she makes a point of saying that she always wears a red bow. I've been watching some old episodes today, and the girl Hiro saves from the speeding truck to convince Ando he has powers has a red bow (that's how they figure out which girl needs saving). It would be kind of cool if Miko were that little girl. Not that it would matter, but it would be kind of a fun Easter egg. 2 Link to comment
