No official announcement yet, but FMW will definitely be renewed right? No way they'd bring on tv A-lister Dylan M. for just 5 episodes and say "see ya". I'm sure all 3 FBI shows will be renewed to keep cbs' Tuesday night lineup a no-brainer, the same way all 3 NCIS shows were renewed on 3/31/2022.

It took me all of season 3 to warm up to him. Probably because he was out of so many episodes.
I understand some of the revolving door.  The Canadian actors were affected by the pandemic travel restrictions, plus the two playing Talli’s grandparents  were in the high risk age group.

YaYa,Jen, and Terry were affected by Julian’s leaving, as was the actress playing Jess’s sister.  No idea why the actress playing Jess’s step mom didn't come back and therefore  his dad showed back up  divorced. The actor playing Crosby left for family reasons.  That caused the actress playing his  girlfriend to leave too.

Did I get all the cast departures in here?

However I have to also believe there are some issues on that set that also contributed to people leaving.  There’s just way toomany in a show that just finished its third season and didn’t really have that many episodes per season.

Very high casts turnover, something is definitely not right. FMW already lost many male characters - Jess LaCroix, Clinton Skye, Ken Crosby, Nelson Skye and now Ivan Ortiz.

The one who should be leaving this show is Alexa Davalos. A terrible actress who eats her words but enjoy her 2nd billing. Ugh. 👎🏻

Anyone want to take bets as to how long this one will last? Or who is the next to go?

I hope he lasts at least 2 seasons. I will never understand it. Lots of actors never make it. To land a primetime network show is big money (even if it's "only" $25k per episode or whatever) and huge to any actor, why walk away so soon even if the creative environment is less-than-ideal?

I meant to post this last week: I will miss Ortiz. He was low-key, calm, competent (as an actor & character), eye candy, and sorta a gym motivation (why a sniper gotta be so buff?)

NCIS' new season is still saddled with Agent Wilmer Valderrama (zzz) despite rumors of his leaving much of last season. And boom, Ortiz leaves FBI:MW without any warning.

"Creative differences" means nothing—it's a way to give a reason without actually giving a reason. And going into work in an environment you don't like takes a huge mental toll.

Yes.  It’s right up there with quitting your job for personal reasons.  In this case,  the issue may have been the fact that he was written out of about half the episodes.  Anyone here know if he would have gotten any pay for episodes he wasn’t  in?

I really like Dylan McDormick as an actor. I didn't mind him as much on season one of Law and Order, but I refused to watch season 2 because there was zero reason to keep that storyline going. They honestly should have cut him loose mid-season 1. He is knocking it out of the park here. He just has IT. Pure magnetism and energy. Jess's vibe was more insular and laid back but Remy is smart, flashy, and outgoing. He brings a good upbeat energy. Julian was clearly in pain those final 4 episodes and the vibe was so subdued and quiet. I don't miss Sheryll, I felt like she was a drag. I actually liked the  last few episodes without her. I will miss Ivan as smart eye candy. He could have been used so much more. Bring on seasons 4 and 5

Unpopular opinion, but I like Kristen.  I like the actress’ quiet confidence and getting the job done.

Ditto. Have a soft spot for her since The Man in the High Castle, where she had a similar quality.

Dylan McDermott Teams Up with Daughter Colette for 'FBI: Most Wanted' : 'She's Got the Whole Package'

On April 11, the actor is introducing FBI: Most Wanted fans to his daughter when Colette McDermott joins as Carly Cassidy, a college student with ties to the task force's latest case.

In "The Miseducation of Metcalf 2," Dylan's Remy Scott and the Most Wanted team search for two missing coeds after Carly's older brother is involved in a homicide that happened in their dorm room.

Despite the dark subject matter, Dylan found working with his daughter a joy.

I figured shooting was already done, but I guess not: The WGA has interrupted filming of the remainder of the season's episodes on Thursday and Friday due to the ongoing Writers Strike.

Per the article, apparently parts of shooting did go on but without certain staff that refused to cross picket lines.

They must be filming to get ahead for next to head off the strike.   Quantum Leap did the same thing.  The finale is in a little over a week so they can't still be shooting for this season.

Many of you will be glad to know that Alexa Davalos is not returning to the show.  I liked her, but I can see how she wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

Thanks for the report. She never really did much for me, though I only started watching during this most recent season. It mainly confused me when I was reading writeups, because I kept forgetting her name, and there was a Kristen the first two seasons on regular FBI (a character I did like!). Just found it odd that they'd pick the same name (though a slight spelling variation) for a spinoff when there are so many female names available.

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on NCIS, Ghosts, FBI: Most Wanted, Grey’s, TWD, Chicago P.D., Station 19 and More!

Q: Are we going to find out what is going on with Nina on FBI: Most Wanted? For someone who seemed pretty excited about becoming a mother while on FBI, she hasn’t seemed real thrilled whenever the subject comes up on Most Wanted. Will this be addressed?

Quote

Quite possi-maybe! Showrunner David Hudgins tells Inside Line, “We will go home with Nina, Scola and the baby in an upcoming episode.”

Flagship show FBI has been handed a three season renewal, which will encompass seasons seven through nine. FBI: Most Wanted comes back for its sixth season and FBI: International has been renewed for its fourth season. All three will air in the 2024/25 season.

Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on Evil, #Scolina, Fire Country, Night Agent, The Way Home, NCIS, Harley Quinn, Reasonable Doubt and More!

Q: Can you please find out if there will be any #Scolina crossovers in the beginning of the new seasons of FBI and FBI: Most Wanted (premiering Oct. 15)? They are my favorite characters on both shows.

Quote

I got your Q in front of Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins, and he wrote back, “This season, we will learn more about Nina’s upbringing, and Scolina faces some drama when family comes to town.”
