Yup, the show is preempted in many markets due to the Olympics, so it would be a good time for Kelly to take vacation.  Folks tend to forget that the show is syndicated to ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX stations across the country.  It's a WABC production, with the majority of affiliates being ABC, but not all. 

Sacramento may be the largest TV market where the show airs on non-ABC.  NBC affiliate KCRA has had "Live" since the Regis and Kathie Lee days.

I lived in the Fresno market area for 18 years & it's on ABC there & moved to the Sacramento market just up the road & this really messed me up at first. I had stopped watching it but the fact that it wasn't there just confused me.

So sick of the "salad/sex talk" with Kelllmeeee.  This story, that she and Gelman love to resurrect, is just tmi and frankly nobody's business but theirs.  Based on what Kelllmeee looks like, she and MARK CONSUELOS!!!! must be having sex 24/7.   I was glad MARK CONSUELOS!!! chose to move on to another riveting news clipping, lol.

I saw her pics from the Disney Legends gala and honestly, she is emaciated!  It looks like she used a filter, lots of comments saying she had some work done on her face, and also remarking on her thinness.  

The dress she chose did her no favors and it really was an odd pick for the celebration; that is, of course, unless the invitation said to wear a matronly, polka dot baggy dress.

She's an odd one for sure, imo, oc.

I was hoping Kelly would come back from her 5-6 week? summer vacation with new hairdo, wardrobe, ability to speak, lack of leg shaking, something refreshing for the audience but alas, no such luck lol!  And Lola seems to be the star of their summer vaca. Think they're promoting her music career.  There are mixed reviews on that. I'm already bored.

Agree with you about Lola and their pushing the singing career.

I've seen several of Lola's IG posts with her singing, and the singing is fine, but her delivery is cringeworthy.  Don't understand who is telling her to continue delivering her music in this way on social media.

I believe they bought or at least rent a house in Ann Arbor where the youngest goes to Univ of Michigan. It's so weird!! Give the kid some space.  I would be mortified if my parents did that when I went away to college. Maybe they think because they're "celebs" they can get away with it? Cringe.

So Kelllmeeee has the nerve to interrupt the plastic surgeon while he's showing a patient's tummy tuck surgery and she asks about her 'shar pei' skin she has on her stomach after having 3 caesarians.  As she stands there in her skin tight pencil skirt with only her protruding belly button sticking out. 

How thirsty is she?  How much does she crave kudos for maintaining her skeletal body?

How many IG posts have we seen with her in a teeny-tiny bikini.  I've never seen all that wrinkly, hanging skin she talked about with the Dr.  Have any of you? lol

Kelly was great back in the day when she was poor. Unfortunately, all of that has withered away. They only do the show live Monday thru Wednesday. It’s crazy. She (and, Mark) are making millions and millions of dollars and they can’t even do the show live on Thursday.

Of course, they do have time to fly to Ann Arbor every weekend for the 3-4 days. I know most parents visit their kids at college maybe once or twice at college for the semester but not every frickin weekend. It’s great that they are close but it’s like they want to experience college with him. Lola is living abroad trying to be a singer but I don’t think she actually has a job (that I know of) because she’s spent all summer with them which they love from the pictures I’ve seen. It’s rich people problems and I’m sure a lot of people would love to do it too but it just galls me (jealous anyone) that they can’t even do 4 live shows. Heck! Even Hoda and Jenna do that. I will say I think Mark has been a huge improvement over Ryan though so that’s a plus (a small plus).

All that said, I don’t know if the 3 day live schedule + two taped shows is a budget thing for LIVE and/or Disney or just a contractual thing set up by Kelly & Mark. Either way, I usually delete the Thursday and Friday shows from jump.

LOL, finnzup!  I am watching about two minutes in & came here to see if anyone commented on Kelly's hair!!  WTF???  With all her $, she could have the most gorgeous hair color.  Do not get it.  And the style is soooo boring.  Even if she doesn't cut it, put it in a pony tail, bun, just something once in awhile.  And the dress comment, I am dying 🤣

On today's show Kelly was begging Art Moore not to retire.  She never did that with Regis.  Was kicking his can to the curb as fast as she  & Gelman could.  My son was asking me today (because I had the show on) how Regis died & I said just old age.  I told him about how Kelly disparaged him in her book.  My son said "after he died? that's disgusting". Yep.

Yes, she's gone on and on about Art reconsidering his retirement.  I get the feeling that Art may have had something to do with Kellllmeeee and her shaky start (still shaky, imo, lol) at Live! and may have exercised some of his Executive powers in either keeping her or mentoring her or both.  She seems very much indebted to Art if you listened to any of her ramblings about him; much more so than Reege giving her a break and enduring her and all her weaknesses.

Just a few observations with the new season:

There seems to be no more host chat 'stories;' they immediately come out and start with the news clippings and ridiculous factoids.  Who cares?  I can't imagine anyone in their demographic caring about the ridiculous information they are sharing.

Kellllmeeee's wardrobe seems to have diminished along with her size.  She seems to be wearing the same three outfits ad nauseum.  And I don't know if it's a fashion statement, but she never changes the black cami she wears under her outfits which is particularly visible when she wears her light-colored blouses.  Maybe her clothing allowance stopped when she ended her Fashion-Finder?  She seemed to wear many more outfits years ago as compared to present times.

She is still incapable of forming a complete sentence without stammering and pausing...it's incredible that her lack of communication skills have never improved over time.

Mark seems to finish her stories or thoughts; as though he just wants to cut to the chase.  There have been a few times when he just steps all over her lines and takes control of the conversation.  I don't think she likes that.

On another note, I see their first-born, "he who shall not be mentioned," is now a Segment Producer for Andy Cohen's RHWNY.  Wonder how he moved up the ladder so quickly?

Just watched today's host chat & what stood out to me was when she was talking about the death of the founder of Joaquin's school he went to for dyslexia.  I, I, I (referring to herself) never a we (referring to her & Mark) when talking about how meaningful she was in Joaquin's life.  Gosh, I really can't stand her.  And she started off with something like I'll make this brief.  LOL, nothing is ever brief with Kelly.  
 

Cannot agree more with finnzup & the limited outfits.  Pencil skirts, old lady blouses, baggy dresses, boring pumps.  That is it, every day.  Add to that the dated hairstyle that never ever changes.

Lola lives in England and is trying to make it as a singer. Great! How the heck is she paying for all of that? I doubt she’s waiting tables or working at the local Target. Finally, I haven’t watched the show since Art’s last day. I have 6 episodes on my dvr (minus Thursday and Friday’s) which I don’t watch. Did I miss anything?

I have never really understood the Hate Watch thing, but it's a thing for many programs and many people who visit message boards.  I enjoy Live, don't really care all that much whether it's on tape (I live in CA.  Virtually everything but award shows and sports are on tape), and think that Mark has rejuvenated the show (and Kelly) in so many ways.

Never have tuned in for the interviews. I am there for Host Chat. I rarely watch the guest interviews, but when I do watch beyond the first 22 minutes, the guests always seem really jazzed to be there at 9AM (or 11A for the Thursday/Friday shows).

I have watched since 1987, when Regis and Kathie Lee first launched the syndicated show. Time magazine called it one of the best new shows of 1987 - not best new daytime show, but among all new television programs that season.

Kelly and Mark may be the best co-host combo since then. The Host Chat may be overly-reliant on news tidbits, though many of them do lead to discussions between the co-hosts.  They seem to have found a balance between the planned topics and sharing the events in their lives.

The show will be moving to the new studio some time next year.  Art Moore gave that as one reason he was retiring.  Kelly and Gelman and the WABC management are likely spending huge chunks of their time plotting that move.

She has been an ABC team player for over three decades, the show is top-rated in its category, and the hosts just won Emmys.  Does the occasional leg shake, repeat outfit, or exaggerated stammer make me turn it off.  Nope.

Will Kelly be in the same building as GMA with Michael Strahan?  Awkward!  I guarantee that Kelly & Mark will not make the schlep from the UES to some awful area (from what I've read) of Manhattan.  They can barely make it across Central Park as it is three days a week.  👋 👋

Yes, WABC is moving their entire operation to the new Disney building.

The View co-hosts have been saying for weeks that the building/facility is humongous.  Joy keeps getting lost (or so the joke goes).

Kelly and Mark will only be there Mon-Tue-Wed.

GMA is allegedly moving in 2025, although there are plenty of articles out from earlier in 2024 saying GMA does not want to move, so we will find out next year.

I want to know what's happening with the Stump Mark segment.  It has definitely changed and not in a good way.  Imo, MARK CONSUELOS!!!! is phoning it in.  He doesn't seem to enjoy it anymore, he doesn't have fun with the callers anymore, he doesn't have that clever repartee he used to have with the callers and the audience.  

Something has changed and I don't like it, lol.

100%   Something is off with him.  I agree with the annoyed descriptive.  He looks away a lot, looks to the side a lot, doesn't smile like he used to and either seems bugged at Kellllmeeeee or something behind the scenes that we are not privy to.

Agree with Kellllmeeee and her jumping....it starts at her hip and her whole thigh and leg just go a mile a minute and it's so distracting.

Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again.   Kelllmeeeee was so dang annoyed, and she made no bones about showing her annoyance, when Reege gave a weather report with the copy of the weather each day and then he would begin his sports talk and she would be doubly annoyed!

Now she sits there and applauds with her seal-clap and grins like the Cheshire Cat at her immortal beloved when he does exactly the same thing.   Why was she so disrespectful to Regis when he did the same things MARK CONSUELOS is doing now?

Did you all hear Kelly mutter "so dumb" during the Stump Mark segment as they were showing the t-shirt and when Mark was finished, he too said, "sooo dumb."

Almost like they said aloud what they were thinking but forgot the mics were on.

Here's what I think.  Kelllmeeeee couldn't handle the fact that in a few short months, MARK CONSUELOS!!!! had become so popular with the audience and I think she got into his head and made him think that the Stump Mark segment made him appear foolish.  And, in case Kelllmeeee and MARK CONSUELOS!!! haven't mentioned it lately, remember that MARK CONSUELOS!!! has a healthy dose of machismo and I don't think his old school charm and macho could take the fact, unfounded as it was, that he was being played the fool for the show.

We saw how she cut the throats of her previous hosts, beginning with Reege,  who could ever believe she'd cut her own husband's throat?    lol

Kelly & Mark saw a Broadway show. Kelly told her version. Mark started to tell his version but Kelly interrupted him. He shut that down right away saying she already told her side and now it was his turn. She doesn’t like that he will tell the story, not stammer, have a smile and the audience might applaud. LOL!!!! 

I’ve been watching LIVE since jump when it aired nationally in Philadelphia. Regis WAS the show and so good. I have been through all the ups and downs with the hosts. Kelly was great in the begging but has totally regressed and not for the better. Mark gave the show a good shot in the arm but I hardly even get through host chat. Sometimes I don’t even get past host chat if there isn't a good guest.

I miss the old days. I used to love it when Regis would host and Joy would sit it. He would talk about his sisters in laws “The Winds of War & “ Gentle Breeze”. LOL!!! So funny. That said, there were people who didn’t like Joy. When Kelly took over the lead hosting the show was never the same for me. It’s been on for ever and does well in the ratings but it isn’t my morning newspaper 🗞️ like the old days. I miss it.

Kelly was absolutely insufferable today during host chat & the Buccaneers discussion.  It looked like Mark was crawling out of his skin in annoyance with her.  I certainly was.  Its all about me me me Kelly Kelly Kelly!!!  Ugh, I just can't stand her.  And who put her in those humongous sleeves???

I've been watching Live! for decades and it still uplifts me every morning. The sarcastic humor is understood for most folks and long-married couples (I'm one, I know!) A funny, positive dynamic between couples is common with mild eye rolling, funny banter and best yet, it's fun for audiences and great ratings which Live! excels at year after year after year as stats show.

The Consuelos family as a whole is a testament to a positive upbringing with education, schooling, and solid values and work ethic with supportive parents. I'd be visiting the young adults too if I was in their shoes and had worked hard to get to the success level afforded them. In fact, our own young adults moved away excitedly to experience the world and we visited all of them with some short and not-so-short flights and some very long drives - 4 hours to 3 days of driving to get there. Thats a fun thing and a nice getaway once empty nesters.   

I see a married couple with a great sense of humor who have a healthy, respectful relationship. It's well known they enjoy a close relationship with Michael Gelman (& Art) and a wonderful long term staff that's like family to everyone.:)
