I watched Season III, Episode 6 last night.

Schwartz was maybe irrefutably attractive back then. Sandoval was, too. Sandoval’s sense of humor was also better. Much better.

Sandoval’s thoughts on passing drink trays at the Fifty Gay Mayors (not Fifty Gay Males) event at PUMP: You stand still. Holding a tray of champagne. You’re a table.
 

They both seemed kinder. And much less self-produced.

Their apartments were dumps!!! But Jax was fairly tidy.

For me it's odd watching Raquel and finding her mostly adorable and feeling for her. She invites people to her puppy party, she puts up with the others mistreating her, the way she says to Lisa "please don't fire me," there is this softness to her that the others lack, like a Lala or Katie.

R was definitely cute and seemed harmless.

Reminder: before dating James, R watched Vanderpump Rules. So one would hope that she had a sense of what these cast members were like. If I were R, I’d then grow a thicker skin, if my goal was to join this cast.

She initially presented as softer than Katie or Lala. But she also had a pageant history, which would have prepared her, regarding how to promote oneself without alienating judges and an audience.

We all watched and thought R was pretty, nice, yet not very interesting. And we never thought she was capable of such a betrayal.

Bravo was playing season two today,  most famous for whether Jax and Kristin were banging while her boyfriend,  Sandoval,  was asleep nearby. Wow. 

Also, it's amazing how different they all looked ten years ago!

I have recently been watching a few season 10 episodes and have to say it again - Scandoval was the best thing that ever happened to Schwartz!  He was so gross, seedy and pathetic throughout every episode until the last one 😄

I have been rewatching 2021/22 season and it's amazing how hindsight is 20/20, re: the guys and Raquel.

Tom is raging about Katie's input to Schwartz & Sandy's, but it all is dependent upon something Katie said, or did, 5 years ago. He can't let go of it.

This makes Tom look like he's perseverating on past issues and can't see the trees for the forest. Raquella just happened, and we know Tom swoops onto Raquel in August.

Even the "fashion show" they had in last week's episode shows that Raquel and Tom were the top winners.  Of course Sandoval was the judge, and announcer.

Yeah, honestly Scandoval was probably the best thing to happen to everyone. Most of the cast displayed a lot of bad behavior and then used Scandoval as the get out of jail free card.

And it probably gave these pathetic losers another season.  Because that last episode really sounded like a finale from Lisa's remarks.  We knew Bravo was putting together The Valley and I think the original intent was for it to replace VPR.  Scandoval not only gave them another season, but now afforded a nice lead-in with Jax in an episode meeting everyone downtown and then driving home (much like Scheana's meeting with Brandy led into the first episode of Vanderpump Rules (which I have to say I thought was pretty clever at the time).

I was reading an article in the media thread about how Ariana would be happy to have new Sur workers/tv stars film in her sandwich shop "next door" - did they ever let us know on the show that their shop is next door to Sur?

Then today I was dozing with the dog and watching the episode where they all went to Miami for Scheana and Shay's bachelor parties.  Lisa "couldn't let" Pandora go because she "needed" her to manage the restaurant since Peter was away, and they filmed quite a few scenes of Pandy lecturing the Sur staff.  Including the Head Chef, who was Penny of the Original Sandwich Shop 😐

Successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbucks mentioned it a few times. She just happened to find the property and told them about it.

They need to get the appetizers out in under 10 minutes; they need to arrange the food thusly on the plate; they need to do this, that and the other thing better.  Things that Peter never seemed to have a problem with 😄. lol did Lisa really refer to a size 8 as tiny? I wear 8.5 or 9, and my feet are nowhere near tiny. Maybe rich lady shoes are sized differently?

I do remember that line! lol One thing I actually like about both Lisa and Ken is the fact both of their kids seem sweet. 

Some people like to poke fun at Lisa's taste, but I was actually impressed by how beautiful Sur was when I saw it in person. I'm a big fan of pink and flowers and al things feminine though, an I guess when I watch the show, I'm too focused on the chuckleheads to notice Sur too much.

I enjoy the looks of her home and restaurants.  When I watch I'm always trying to figure out the lay of Sur - I'll have to get there in person one day!  It's Lisa's hair and tacky clothes where I can't stand her taste 😄
