paulvdb January 5, 2018 Share January 5, 2018 Quote When Christy’s long-distance relationship begins to fizzle, she seeks the company of a former fling. Also, Bonnie tries to give up coffee. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/
TigerLynx January 12, 2018 Share January 12, 2018 I have a bad feeling Christy is going to be the one to get her heart broken. This episode wasn't as fun as I expected it to be. I guess they just refuse to let Christy really go wild. They'll reference her past, but never show it to us like they have Bonnie's. It was nice seeing Marjorie, but she didn't get enough screen time, and I hope Jill returns soon. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3958295
jewel21 January 12, 2018 Share January 12, 2018 (edited) I found it sweet that Adam was worried about Christy. And I loved her telling Adam that she and Wendy ate his soup and drank all his coffee, heh. I do think she will end up hurt at the end as well. Bonnie's coffee addiction was amusing. I look forward to the conclusion. Edited January 12, 2018 by jewel21 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3958445
bad things are bad January 12, 2018 Share January 12, 2018 this seemed like an off episode to me. Although there wasn't any Adam/Bonnie bickering, so there's that. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3959688
iMonrey January 12, 2018 Share January 12, 2018 I have a tough time getting used to Michael Angarano playing an adult character, let alone being in bed with another one. I'm so used to thinking of him playing a kid. Wow I feel old. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3959738

wendyg January 13, 2018 Share January 13, 2018 I'm surprised no one in the AA group pointed out to Christy that putting herself in a position where she has to lie and where there's a ton of guilt on offer is a really big risk to take with her sobriety. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3962232
MissLucas January 13, 2018 Share January 13, 2018 (edited) Maybe I'm more prim than I thought I am but I had a hard time understanding Christy's action. She's seeing someone and trying to make it work so why the hell did she think it a good idea to jump into bed with another guy? Unless we're supposed to take this as an act of self-sabotage. I still enjoyed the episode though. It was sweet of Adam to worry about Christy and his reaction to her confession was also great: schadenfreude and then explaining to her the ground rules of being a dude. All the scenes in the diner were great too - I loved Bonnie questioning Marjorie's wisdom for wearing a plum velours track suit. Blakeston January 16, 2018 Share January 16, 2018 So did Christy and Adam's brother have an agreement to be exclusive or not? That makes a pretty big difference in how I view Christy's actions. theatremouse January 17, 2018 Share January 17, 2018 Ambiguous in show universe. I assume a TBD plot point will involve hijinx around one and the other of their opinions on that subject. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3969981

It seems like half my posts here consist of me asking what acronyms mean. I too and not speaking of that particular post, just in general. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/65102-s05e10-a-bear-and-a-bladder-infection/#findComment-3978056
