I liked the first 2 (?) seasons of Happy Days. I understand they went to a live audience after that because of ratings, but the feel of the overall show changed, and only got worse.

On Sundays, MeTV has also pushed The Brady Bunch from noon to 10 am and has put on Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy in its place.  Glad ILL is back but I don't know why they're not doing a full hour since TAGS is already on at 6 on Sunday and weeknights.

FETV (Family Entertainment Television) will host a “Highway Patrol” marathon on October 4, featuring ten episodes. The marathon will air from 7a-12p, containing on-air previews and interstitials with behind-the-scenes information.

Antenna TV was just added to my cable lineup. My girlfriend and I are both recovering from COVID so we have been catching up on old favorites like "Mork & Mindy" and "Alice."

Antenna TV has some fun shows. We enjoy Johnny Carson at 10 pm ET.

I as thinking today, that back in the day I'd eagerly wait for TV Guide's Fall Preview issue to see all the new programs coming up in the new season.  Today Sept. has passed with only a handful of new shows (most of which probably will be gone after 13 episodes) on network TV.  Damn you streaming!

I like Antenna TV. It has a nice mix of shows. I also like Rewind TV which specializes in shows from the '80s and '90s.

@EtheltoTillie, I gave Dragnet a chance and realized why I didn't like it the first time around. Too dry and "just the facts ma'am" for me. Not enough street action. Plus no eye candy, LOL. Well, I was a pre-teen and young teen when I watched "Adam 12" the first time and I confess to having had crushes on both Kent McCord and Martin Milner. 😉

I remember seeing reruns of "Dragnet" on Nick at Nite when I was a kid - I don't remember a ton about the show, but I do remember the whole "This is the city..." thing and the basic premise and whatnot. I mainly just remember it being on early in the mornings on weekends - they would show it alongside "Dobie Gills" and "F Troop" and shows of that sort, and sometimes I'd see those shows if I was up late or got up early and was waiting for the kids' shows to start on Nickelodeon or something ;p.

Tonight (Thurs. Oct. 17) on BINGE TV channel's "Route 66" binge (at 7 pm CT) they'll be showing a "Route 66" Halloween episode starring old-time monster movie stars Lon Chaney Jr., Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff scaring the heck out of an executive secretary convention in a Chicago motel.  One of the more popular episodes of the show. Among the frightened secretaries is Jeannine Riley, AKA Billie Jo, of "Petticoat Junction".

So is any of the retro channels going to run the "WKRP in Cincinnati" Thanksgiving episode?

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

I also love the bit in that episode where Johnny's telling the story about Carlson sending all those blonde wigs to the earthquake victims. "I just keep having this image in my head of a bunch of people stumbling through the rubble...all looking like Dolly Parton."
