Galileo908 March 7, 2022 Share March 7, 2022 I, too, always wanted to meet Jabberjaw. AND EVERYONE BUT PETER GOT TO MEET HIM?! Jealous. Right when Peter met the lawyer, I had a feeling he was the problem neighbor Peter was going to be suing. Brick Baker was a fun character. I liked hearing Wendi Malik (The Owl House's Eda The Owl Lady) as the judge, but I felt she was wasted in that role. Loved that there was a Surfin' Bird musical, and I know the pain of being so far from a stage you can barely see anything. The only parts I liked about Brian and Stewie's plot was all the celebrity water puns (Sea Thomas Howell was my favorite), and the grammar bits. I love whenever the show gets meta, with them showing the wrong cutaways this time. "Lee Harvey Oswald working from home" was a weird one regardless of any context. Link to comment
DoctorAtomic March 7, 2022 Share March 7, 2022 Tort reform. Absolutely brilliant. Does everyone know lobster rolls? It's a New England thing. I don't know if it's something outside the area. I never cannot get enough Surfin Bird. That joke is endless. Isn't this the second Rupurt? Brian bought him in a convenience store. 1 Link to comment

Gharlane March 7, 2022 Share March 7, 2022 (edited) Quote "Lawyer Guy". Peter hires the town's new lawyer, Brick Baker, to represent him in litigation against his new neighbor who turns out to be Brick. Meanwhile, Brian and Stewie become lobstermen and save Rupert from the perils of the deep. Well, this ep wasn't very good. Knowing Brick Baker was the neighbor beforehand ruined the surprise reveal, but I couldn't get past the courtroom hijinks, namely no one caring that Peter's lawyer was his neighbor and never bothered to tell him. I didn't like the B-story, but that's mostly because I totally misread the description as them becoming human lobsters after Rupert was kidnapped by crab-men. Galileo908 March 14, 2022 Share March 14, 2022 (edited) Gotta love a Fox show owned by Disney spoofing HBO shows. I thought this was a good one. Game of Thrones: It's about time this show took on Game of Thrones. And they managed to sum up the whole show in ten minutes. I'd say it was longer...but no, they covered everything. They even snuck in a bit with the Starbucks cups. Jon Yellowsnow is definitely a Mad Magazine style name, and Stewie is 100% a Joffrey. I also appreciated Daenerys riding a giant Dino. That least season really was dumb. Succession: Man, just how many HBO shows are about white people arguing over who's in charge? GoT, Succession, Righteous Gemstones. It's weird that I LIVE in NY, yet I'm not among the 6000 people here that have seen it and think it's the best show of all time. Yet I'm pretty sure the show summed it up perfectly. The guy is never gonna leave and choose whoever is in charge next. Big Little Lies: I know this show even less, but I thought it was a fun segment. I got a kick out of five guys playing the leads (with Chris's character having a kid that's just a tiny him. Loved that everyone's glasses kept getting bigger in the opening. Either way, I thought it was fun. Loved Chris's character listening to actual clips of Seth Green. Edited March 14, 2022 by Galileo908 2 Link to comment
Spartan Girl March 14, 2022 Share March 14, 2022 Best part was the end where Chris pointed out that those shows all had Emmys while they had none. Their GOT spoof was way better than the last season, and that says a lot. Loved them ripping on the dark episode. 1 Link to comment

Galileo908 March 21, 2022 Share March 21, 2022 Meg becoming a getaway driver is one of the best uses for her in a while. Of course they had to ruin it by there NEVER being a Seymour in the first place, and it was just Meg living out sad fantasies. And how THAT was just a VR experience by Seymour. Galileo908 March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 (edited) I appreciated seeing the Cleveland Show family members again. And the Peter-copter. Lois's plot was pretty dark. Taeolas May 10, 2022 Share May 10, 2022 I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but I grew up in New Brunswick, and one of the "rites of passage" for teens was to do a weekend trip up to Quebec to enjoy the lower drinking ages and the strip clubs. (I never did it myself but oh the stories we've heard :) ). So yeah, stopping at a strip club with a teen just across the border is strangely appropriate. :) Also, lotto and game show earnings are not taxed in Canada; so no need to declare or do anything with them but enjoy them. :) Link to comment
Galileo908 May 16, 2022 Share May 16, 2022 Really liked this as an excuse for Sam Elliot to be in a whole episode. I liked the weird awkwardness of the horse dance (and the callback with the cows and the hats). Also loved the bit with the bear attacking the dummy versions of the gang. Wasn't fond of the Stewie plot. Stewie's been pregnant before (I'd rather not think about that one), Brian was right to call him out on it. Galileo908 September 26, 2022 Share September 26, 2022 And we're back! Silence of The Lambs: Of course Stewie was Hannibal Lecter. And that he wanted Mario Lopez to record his voicemail message as Slater. Chris was perfect as Buffalo Bill, with Meg as his victim. I got a laugh out of Buffalo Bill getting shot trying to do a Night At The Roxbury to Clarice. American Beauty: I remember when this show did a spoof of the cheerleader scene when it was new. Except it was with chicken wings. Forrest Gump: Good on this show for spoofing this movie 25 years after everyone else did. Of course Peter was Forrest, Lois was Jenny, Cleveland was Bubba, Joe was Lt. Dan. Liked seeing Donna actually get lines (and was instantly replaced by Herbert). It was a good abridged version of the movie, though. "I'm sick." "With what?" (Jenny whispers to Forrest) "Oh, I did a movie about that. It's called Splash." 2 Link to comment
