So on the one hand we have a bunch of racist @ssholes who killed Walker''s kin and left Ophelia to die in the desert and killed a ton of Mexicans trying to cross the border.  And who've happily let Madison lead them, though she's only been there for two minutes.  Then we have the local Indians who've had their land stolen and people killed, who took in Ophelia and saved her life.

Tell me again who I'm supposed to root for?

The Indians also stole ottos cattle, anthraxed a bunch of women and children, burned 6 guys alive at the outpost, and Killed the dad in the helicopter 

 

I guess its it's a matter of taste

Am I the only one disturbed that this show has basically turned into a race war between Whites and Native American's/First People's. A part of me thinks that is probably how things would devolve in a real ZA because people like their tribes, but I'd like to think people would actually try to work together to save humanity. That is a zombie show that I would watch. Give me someone to root for other than the zombies please. For now, I guess I'll take Walker........

Unfortunately, I think that this is exactly what would happen with a lot of people, not everyone, but a whole lot more than we would like admit.

No, TWD universe is all about people fighting each other.  I find the race war aspect kind of interesting.  Otto is attached to that piece of land, but what about everyone else?  There's a LOT of empty and available land now.

If you aren't white, it is a matter of survival to ally with Walker and his people.

It's purposely set up that way - so and so did this first, which led to this atrocity and this response, etc.  It's more true to life and the show doesn't want an obvious hero IMO.

I think it's supposed to be this season's conundrum that "the bad guys" are really good, while our heroes are hooked up with the actual evildoers.  Which is why I was wondering if we're supposed to still be bonded with Madison, who seems quite awful in her own right. 

I feel somewhat loyal to Nick and Alicia, mainly due to original cast familiarity, but with Madison, I just can't.

Yeah. What's wrong with the hill right past that one? Let the Native Americans have theirs. The key is: no walkers, not THE Walker, but the walkers.

No, you're not the only ones.  Maybe I'm an idiot but I'd like to think that at the end of the world, people would try and work together.  The ranchers are racist murdering asshole and the Indians are clearly the REAL owners of the land.  But is the land worth giving a bunch of people ANTHRAX?  Would the ancestors look kindly on that?  When all the ranchers are dead or gone and Walker gets his land back, then what?  There's acres of land available now because the people who lived on that land are zombies. 

I hate this storyline because it's cheap and insulting to me as an audience member.

It's a terrible location to defend. Even the hotel was better. Set up a desalination plant and you've got everything there

I still somewhat like Alicia, but have no use for druggie Nick the Unwashed.  He's done nothing but use people and dessert his family at whatever chance he got (but I can't condemn him for ditching Madison).  I still like Strand and Daniel, and am okay with Luciana and Ophelia.  I want Madison to die a painful death.
