I wish I cared more about the Rene's custody storyline. But he showed no interest in getting Zoe back earlier, he uses guns as his primary weapon, and he still doesn't look old enough to be a father of a ten year old kid (but that last one is more about my inability to guess ages based on appearances).

Oliver has said ad nauseum that Chase is 10 steps ahead. Whyyyyyyy does he not ever sit down and have a brainstorming session with his smarter counterparts on what that could mean?

...so is that why the mask/arrow was put on the island?  Just beacuse...of nothing, really?  That's a pretty poor pay-off of something that was pretty featured in the pilot.

And yes, Anatoly is awesome.  I will miss the flashbacks if they go away, if only for him.

Perhaps they realize this is a filler plotline. I don't honestly have a sense of urgency so I'm cool with their chill.

It's like, Chase sent us this body. It appears my father killed him. It looks like he was killed at this location. And instead of questioning all of this, it's like, my father's being framed, do do doooo, let's go investigate. I mourn the loss of Oliver's critical thinking skills.

This isn't a new trait though.   Moira can't be shady,  Thea can't be with Malcolm and a ninja,  Robert couldn't murder people!  Except that one time he shot that dude.

I hope that's a gif later so I can laugh at Oliver's narrowed eyes.
