If TBTP tell them how to sit, it's with an end result in mind. And alliance sitting together makes a nice visual. Player A likely to influence player B also would be good for TPTB. Unless they don't want that to happen, in which case player A and player B will be seated as far away from each other as possible while still keeping the alliances' visual.

That how I see it, maybe I'm totally projecting what I would be doing as an evil producer :)

Yes. Producers do tell people where to it. It is no a coincidence at all that Will was in the middle.
