You don't see her eating when the camera isn't on her or they're doing something else.  Otherwise, Whoopi is talking with a mouth-full.

I'm still waiting for two things:  Tax returns and a reason why America isn't great right now.  Economy is up, employment is up. My business is doing well.  Now he's got his dream team......a racist (Sessions), a homophobe (Pence), a Muslim-hater (Flynn) and Bannon who just is crazy but has his ear.

It irritated the (blank) outa me when Jedi B was speaking about the future glories of Trump (or somesuch BS) & a brief tweet aired "below" her stating,"Trump's trying to unite the country#make Americagreatagain," & stayed onscreen for almost the entirety of her comment.  Then the camera shifted to other panelists, & 3 or 4 longer, anti-Trump tweets appeared for the usual few seconds only.  Pro-Right wing anyone??  (I'm still convinced that Sunny was deliberately kept off the panel in pre-election weeks by View producers, lest any (sad) "li'l woman" be led astray in the voting booth by Sunny.)

And I was a little taken aback by the initial blase reaction of the mother of the 3 young athletes, on first hearing that the family would receive $10,000 - she didn't celebrate until near the segment's end, which puzzled me.  And why couldn't The View provide, at minimum, a better employment opportunity for this mom?  &/Or, why couldn't Whoopi, Joy, Sunny (not sure how deep her pockets are, really, but hubby's a surgeon, she's a TV lawyer, so...) & CANDACE (the panelists who should by now be financially, extremely, comfortable) put their $ where their mouths so often are, & make a personal contribution to the futures of these ambitious, homeless/low income kids (with whom 2 panelists "identified?")

Sort of on topic, for all those who espouse to be "pro life"and want to limit abortions, have they ever taken in a child that was given up for adoption?  Or gone to the foster care system and seen which children are freed up legally to adopt and then do it?

Jaques Pepin dijon vinaigrette,  goggle exactly that and it comes right up first. Delicious and the best, I make no other vinaigrette.

I have made this salad many times, the combination is excellent. It has a fresh bright taste that is good with anything rich.

I don't think the mom registered that the money was for her, the audience was making a lot of noise. Making an announcement that you were personally giving someone money on TV would attract thousands of people asking you for money and probably against the network policy anyway. Whoopi or Sunny may have helped her privately, we will never know.

Ok, guess I need to clarify.  While looking for a source to cite Snopes came up and refuted this.  Apparently the "official" hats were made in the US but knock offs were made in China.  I apologize for not doing my homework.  However, that said, I wonder where these  beauties are made?  Merry Christmas, everyone.

I was really hoping that the show would either give that family a permanent home or give the mom a well-paying job. The money is nice, but an apartment will soon suck that money away. I'm actually quite surprised that there was no substantial help. 

I'm very happy that CCB has been gone, but I did have to laugh at Jediblahblah. She's trying so hard to be 'reasonable' and agreeable. It's not working, but it's funny to watch.
