Nothing can go wrong when a mentally unstable accomplice / witness is involved in armed robbery....Another stellar example of Mickey "Ocean" planning.  But if she is a wrestler, it's OK...

I wasn't sure how to feel about Avi telling Ray how awesome Lena is. On the one hand, duh, obviously this is something that Ray could be reminded of every episode. On the other hand, it seemed like it came from out of nowhere because Lena is awesome, Ray knows she is awesome, and he trusts her to kick ass and take care of herself. Does he really think this particular guy is so much more dangerous than anyone else she's dealt with before?

It was nice to see Terry ask the cop if she had a boyfriend/husband and then ask her out to dinner. Terry deserves to be happy! Or at least not miserable.

Marisol, on the other hand, upped the crazy again this week. It's one thing to go all Waiting to Exhale on your ex's stuff. It's another thing to set someone else's building on fire with your ex's stuff because he happens to be inside.

I know I'm supposed to feel sorry for Mickey because his lady friend got shot, but I don't. He created this situation. First he tried to steal the horseshoe from the casino. Then he tried to get the money from his partner. Then he broke into Bill's house to get into the safe. And then when his first attempt failed, he went in guns blazing. If he had skipped any one of those steps, she would still be alive so I don't feel a bit of sympathy for Mickey. He keeps fucking up and other people get caught in the crossfire. He SHOULD feel bad and he SHOULD feel guilty.

When Bunchy told the lady at the pool that he wasn't a very strong swimmer, I was expecting her to push him in. Loved when Bunchy told Mickey to fuck off. I need an endless loop of that clip interspersed with Avi's classic "this fucking guy!"

Teresa just staring blankly with her hair hanging in her face and then busting in to kick some ass reminded me of Dana on BtVS.

Lena said she would bring Vlad somewhere deserted...Airport parking garage is not on that list...no cameras on upper deck? What would CTU say about that?

Did she actually answer the question?

That idiot Mickey just can't stop making bigger messes. Ray can but he keeps doing it anyway. He's going end up having to kill everybody until there's nobody left to kill.

Heh, guess Teresa wasn't  as out of it as they thought. She just needed a bigger purpose than an innocent baby apparently.

Aw, Avi. I hope they're not killing him off.

I don't think Mickey's woman betrayed him with Buffalo Bill. Her getting with him was part of setting up the safe robbery. She was supposed to keep him distracted.

Yes, she said something about drinks or coffee instead of dinner.

What is Lena going to do, lift that guy she shot into the trunk, go out to the desert and bury him by herself?

And Avi walking into the lawyer's office blind without having scoped out the place?

I meant she already betrayed Bill...Mickey called her for help...Bill was listening...

If we're talking about last episode (or it may have been the one before) I guess I misinterpreted that scene because I got the impression she was doing that under duress. This time, when we saw her in bed with Bill, think Bill had probably assumed Mickey was out of the picture since he wasn't supposed to be able to come back to town again.  Or, Mickey had already been in touch with her and sleeping with Bill was part of the scheme. Or, she was sleeping with her boss to keep her job...

I'm hanging in there, but  "THIS F***NG GUY." Somehow, some way Mickey is going to cause a character I love to die, and then I'll just peace out.  The sole reason Mickey has lived this long is because he was in jail where his scope of destruction was limited. I should have felt bad for Sylvie, but I didn't. In fact, no one in Primm is really worth a second thought as written by this show.

Show, you better not kill off Avi. And Lena was always the total badass. Maybe Ray was fearful for the first time that he didn't have as much control over his people and situations as he has in the past.

This episode left me depressed and then they followed it with that awful Roadies ep. I think someone at Showtime is off their happy pills.

Maria busting in like that was a shock. So...does this mean she is not as catatonic as we are being led to believe? I always thought she was with Bunchy for his money.

Seeing Avi just upset me more than I expected. I could not post anything last night. When Lena's part of the plan went smoothly, I just knew he was not going to be as lucky.

Ray seems to be thinking both Lena and Avi have suddenly become fuck-wits. Hearing Avi reminding him about Lena and her dedication and ability was something he needed to hear. I hope she saves Avi, not Ray!

Someone needs to get rid of Marisol. She is a drug addict so I am thinking maybe an accidental end to her useless life would be great.

No, not a drop of sympathy for Mickey seeing his girlfriend dying. I wish she was smarter than to get mixed up with him in the first place. I am thinking she was with her boss because she had nothing else. He was just going to use her and toss her out eventually. He is too smart to trust her with anything but she was OK to bang. Nothing more. He was an idiot for not getting rid of her cell phone. She was in on the robbery and he had to know she was not trustworthy but he also figured Mickey would never come back to Primm.

I think Lena was not worried about cameras. She was in Sonia's car and had on her clothing. Now, Sonia is gone so no problem.

Lena left the body in the parking lot. Easy peasy. He's a crime statistic now.

It wasn't bad enough that she was sleeping with Wild Bill Primm.

She has to help him paste his hair in under his hat to preserve his look.

Ray kind of went out of his way to help Sonia but she couldn't withdraw her money and Ray set her up with a fake passport and a private jet out?

They tell him he should just kill her but how would that solve the problem with the Russian gangster?  He would have still come after Ray and the family for killing the other guy.

Sonia is out of the picture now presumably but when she dies, what's going to happen to her daughter, with no money and no mother in some place with an assumed identity?

Abby refusing to leave is also ridiculous.  She's going to help him fight off Russian gangsters?  If Ray has to worry about protecting her, he's going to be more vulnerable.

So another big showdown coming, with Ray having to rescue Avi.  Last season it was the shootout with the Armenians to save Mickey, which started this current mess.  A couple of seasons ago, he walked into fake Biggie's crib unarmed and he came out of it.

The show's MO is to set up these big against-all-odds confrontations every season.  I like the show but they should stop copying from Breaking Bad.

nobody knows Ray killed him except for Sonia, the lawyer and the thug. They were the only ones who saw the video.

Great news, guys! Did you hear Ray say that they were sending Bridget and Cahnah away? Sonia's gone, too! Abby won't leave, so maybe she will somehow be switched out with Avi. Or shot; there is still hope!

During Justified, I read an interview with Raymond Barry, the actor who played Arlo/Dmitri. He was either drunk during it or has some type of delusion disorder. He was so simple that I couldn't see how he played Arlo so well. I went to his IMDB page and saw that he played football in college, and seriously wondered if he has some type of post-concussion syndrome. After that interview, I watched his portrayal of Arlo in awe. He totally consumes the character he plays, and owned the worthlessness of Arlo when he had trouble staying focused for two sentences at a time. It reminds of when I saw an interview with Jane Kaczmerak and wondered how she remembered her lines on Malcolm in the Middle when she couldn't complete a sentence in an interview.

I loved the comment when Beautiful was sewing in the hair extensions about the other woman was nice but she did not know anything about white hair. It was totally a play on white stylist don't know how to do black hair, makeup, etc., and frankly I love when the show plays the reverse race trope card. :-)

He was very good in Original X Files as a Senator that always kept the audience guessing if he was really helping Mulder.

Do you think we'll find out what Phil whispered to Kelly Ann?

Spoiler

His dying declaration so to speak. At least I think that's what happens because the previews seem to indicate a funeral.
