See, this is a case of same views observed the same things.  ;-)

Being on a reality show or people being contracted to bring the drama still shouldn't absolve anyone from actually taking it way passed the point of basic humanity. LisaR didn't NEED to be enraged. She was PAID to be enraged and in all actuality no she wasn't. SHE choose what she would bring to the show and would be "enraged" about. Producers push for SOMETHING it doesn't mean they have to deliver anyone's head on a platter. Good Grief. It's when the women choose to run with it that I find completely distasteful. When the women allow production to manipulate them into certain sketchy conversations is what I find low class. Sure Yo's journey can give some the bubble guts and urge to puke but I would take that authentic craziness ahead of mean spirited and deliberate cattiness for a paycheck any day. I just can't get behind that no matter how annoying Yo and her illness may come across. It's like I have to wipe a grimey film off my screen after every episode. Yuck! Reminds me of the OC days. Thank goodness the season is over. Please oh please, from now on, can we stay away from  questioning, wondering, asking, doubting, championing for, hootin' and hollerin' about the health of anyone else Satan Andy? This plee also includes those battling addiction. Phew! I will take House porn, cute hubbies, nice trips, a pony by the pool, maybe a peep through a garage window here and there and a pat the puss thrown in on occasion. But no more of this ENRAGED stage, bring down the curtain on this tired and unpleasant narrative once and for all. I beg of thee oh Bravo powers that be.

Arguments have been at the heart of the RH franchise from the beginning. As long as my brain still functions, I will always question, wonder, and ask, etc. I think it's part of what this forum is for.

I am very happy that this season is ending. It will one less forum for Yolanda to lie on. At least, for a while.

You call it mocking selfies.  It could just as easily be characterized as questioning the swing or as LVP called it the ebb and flow.  It was shwn at the beginning of the season that Yolanda was not taking visits from LVP.  So I would think it would be reasonable they would follow her on Instagram.  It doesn't have to be mean spirited.  How does one characterize a comment by Yolanda when she announces to the group that Brandi and Kim have done more for than the rest of them combined?  I would say that was very mean spirited and not designed to have anyone of the group do anything for her again.  She like Rinna was disappointed (distressed, enraged) over LVP, Eileen and Rinna backing out of her NY trip where she was the star.   She made the comment after throwing out some people will put themselves out.  The fact three of the ladies were going was even acknowledged let alone thanked.

I agree with Rinna and using the term "enraged", Yolanda having lunch with Brandi and Ki should neither enrage her or cause her distress.  I truly believe Rinna was disappointed because she wanted to use Erika's dinner to suck up to Yolanda and was deprived of that opportunity.

Again different views, observe different things.

Here is an example of Yolanda leading the parade of DISTRESSING Kyle.  No excuses the others had backed down:  http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills/season-4/videos/is-mauricio-faithful-to-kyle  Can't be a bigger See You Next Tuesday move than Yolanda in that scene and the talking head.  None of what was being said about Yolanda was even in the parking lot of the ballpark she plays in.  She is vicious.

Yolanda hardly says anything, it's mostly Brandi raising the issue. And Carlton's taste is hideous. Why the pimp cups?

She started with the "where there is smoke there's fire," and continued with there is some truth in tabloids.  How much more did she need to say?  At least LVP was telling Kyle to not say anything.  Yes, I would agree Brandi brought it up and made it about her.  It was Yolanda that went against the tide though and made it sound as if the rumors were true.

Carlton's house is hideous.  The only good thing was the cool spotted cat.

For all the bitching I read about being sick of Yo and Lyme talk, it would seem that's all anyone is talking about.  I've never used the ignore function, but I wish it was possible to ignore the subject of Lyme.

I think the house was rented for the show, and not truly their home.  Carlton also went overboard with the religion-based decor (I mean seriously, a confessional that you brag about having sex in) to play up her Wicca background.  Although IMO, Carlton used the words Wicca and Wiccan in a way that led me to believe she doesn't know much about it.  I think she more plays with the whole pentagram, witch craft, and other symbols to  tease satanism, as did some heavy metal bands in the past.  Kind of like Ozzy Osbourne being disgusted there were bubbles at one of his concerts, because he was "the fucking prince of darkness".  So, in effect, it's just an act to titillate.

They didn't "switch the target to Lisa" about anything but YO's LYME.

There has only been one theme this year, Yo's Lyme.  There was a minor little thing about Kim, so Kyle could cry.

That's it.

That's all these wealthy women could drum up for an entire season.  It was pathetic.  I absolutely don't believe that the editors set out to give us a boring season.  Now, from the posts here, apparently they actually did something right.  People seem out for Yo's blood, and the "wives" complied.

For me though, it was mean, shallow, cheap, and disgusting, but most of all boring.  Yo didn't make the season about Lyme.  The others did.  Period.  My speculation as to why they did mostly consists of following the fan hatred and venom, and/or avoiding their own issues being brought to light.

ETA to clarify, The WIVES behavior has been shallow, cheap, disgusting and boring.

I have called Yolanda a bitch. That may be a cheap shot. The fact is, though, that if she treated me the way she treats Kyle, Lisa, and Rinna I would refer to her as a bitch. When I consider her behavior over the course of all the seasons she's been on, I actually think she is a condescending bitch. I wouldn't say it to her face, in part because I would avoid her like the plague, but that's what I'd think. It's what I do think. I would argue that Yolanda has judged the other women, save for Kim and Brandi, much more, based on much less.

I am not out for blood. If Yolanda ever comes clean, I will thank her and support her.

I do not see how this forum's discussion of Yolanda is mean, shallow, cheap, or disgusting. Those are words I would use to describe Yolanda. The disgusting part refers to her spreading false scientific and medical information. I do, and always will, think that's disgusting.

No, the others didn't use Yolanda/illness, production did. We all know there are hundreds of hours of film and it is edited down to what production wants, not what the HWs want. Blaming the HWs for the direction production decided to take the show in their final edit is like blaming the cat (the HWs) that got out because some idiot (production) left the door open. LOL

I was referring to the wives' behavior, not to posters here, or on twitter, or anywhere else.  Do I think they watch closely and plan their stories based on the way the wind is blowing with fans?  Yes, certainly some do, and I'm looking at you Lipsa and Eileen, but honestly it was probably true of LVP and Kyle as well.  Kathryn had her hands full facing down Faye (another fail.)

I don't care about Yolanda's Lyme.

I never cared about it.

I never will care about it.

Hence?  Season fail for me.

(snipped)

Way back during Carlton's season I searched her family's website that had all their available spec homes. The witch craft house was there but looked more staged and there was another home also listed but in the valley, I think Calabasas, that wasn't staged but looked like a family with kids lived there. I said at the time that I thought that that was where they really lived because of all the kid and family stuff. The witch craft house always looked like they rented stuff and set up for filming but never lived in.

Also, I don't think "production" can show us something the wives didn't give.  These people's jobs depend on producing a decent series, if they are incompetent or drive viewers away?  They lose their jobs.  So, while "it's all productions fault!" can sometimes be true?  In this case, they tried to make limeade out of Lyme and failed.

I don't think they had anything else.  Their usual lightening rods, Brandi and Kim were gone.

As a young man, I always dreamt of seeing Honey's pussy, that photo is a lifelong dream. But, Salvador Dali's pussy doesn't look happy, not a good way to hang on to one.

With ponies by the pool and swans swimming in the moat. No Jiggy. I refuse to watch him.

The middle picture looks like a serval to me. There is a cross between domestic cats and servals called a savannah. IMO, wild cats and bred mix pets are not fair to the animals and not safe for people. The safety aspect may vary by individuals, but I think it's always unfair the the animal.

I cannot quote at the moment.  Carlton's house was staged and she was clearly not a witch!  Whoever did the set design failed to research Wiccan beliefs.   They are all about nature and family.  They never use crosses or christian imagery.   I researched this on her season because something seemed terribly off!

It was such a ridiculous charade that I was not surprised to see her dropped.  Bravo was clearly desperate.

Really LVP is the one who said 'Where there's smoke there's fire."  Yolanda said, "You know sometimes...where...." And LVP finished it for her.  That year the Dream Team was going in hard on Kyle before they fell apart.

I just rewatched that clip. Ya know, I disliked Yolanda so much that season that I remembered her being the one that said "Where there's smoke there's fire."

But it was LVP!  Whom I adored that season.  Go figure. LOL

Yes, Lisa finished Yolanda's statement because Yolanda didn't quite know the saying. LOL Lisa had already said that she didn't believe the tabloid claims, that the tabloids just love to make stuff up about all of them and that she/Ken had already had the same thing happen to them.

Yolanda did say in her confessional that there is some basis in truth in the tabloid stories.  I wonder if she still feels that is the case when they write about her children?

I think LVP should have let it drop and Yolanda stumble over her words or defended Kyle instead of finishing Yolanda's thought.  It was not a good move by LVP.

She did defend Kyle. She said that she didn't believe the tabloid stories and that Kyle/Mauricio should just ignore them as she and Ken did when the tabloids did the same to them.
