Waiting patiently for TWoP refugees to start populating this site, so I can return to my preferred lurking status.

MJ makes me sick. She really is vile. Having been in a similar situation, I really felt for Todd. He *seemed* authentic with his emotion there. That scene was more compelling than A Mother's Love, which just made me feel embarrassed. And fuck Porsha and her mini Nene divadom! I wish Kandi would have used the understudy.

Other random thoughts: 1) the season needs to end 2) I only want Nene to stay on the show so I can watch her decline. 3) Velvet :( 4) I have never, ever seen Cynthia look the slightest bit unattractive until the blue eye shadow talking heads. What the hell?

ETA: oh also the Ghost scene with Phae and Apollo made me faintly nauseated.

Nene must have turned into Meryl Streep when I wasn't looking. She's so.full of shit that she's "leaving millions on the table". I can't stand her.

I think tonight was the most real I've ever seen Kenya. I lost my dog recently and I felt her pain. I still don't like her, but I felt for her.

And that concludes my first post here! I see a few familiar names.

Hey y'all! I'm trying to kind of cross post and transition in, instead of jumping over cold. I was so sad about Velvet. I cried too. I'm thinking there will be a divorce announcement at some point from Cynthia and Peter. She is very aware and articulate in her THs about the problems in the marriage. I wonder how long it will take her to act on that knowledge, because I just don't see Peter changing.

NeNe, NeNe, NeNe. As the kids say, LULZ! Does she have the awareness to be embarrassed by this behavior now that it's aired? How loudly will she protest? Should be funny to compare this attitude to that at the reunion, since it was just shot a few days ago. This footage is from what, November or so? I can't believe she was this delusional still. This was time for her to be in scramble mode. By then she already knew New Normal was cancelled. She knew there would only be 3 or so appearances of her character on Glee. She should have been hustling. The show he mentioned (not John Stamos' USA production--name drops, jeez) would have been a nice paycheck, and maybe a recurring role. But she didn't bother to even read it?

Bitch, please.

Nene will never get that she is ridiculous. Her shout out that only ONE show was cancelled is evidence of this. She is a legend in her own mind and there's no disabusing her of this.

She and MJ are a pair. How can MJ watch that play and not see herself for the selfish manipulator she is? She's in the same denial mode as the Neenster, is why. Even holding up a mirror is waste of time with these two.

Me too!

Random thoughts about the episode off the top of my head:

1.  Todd is earning his place in Heaven with how nice he was to Mama Joyce.  I wonder if she's even worse when the cameras aren't rolling?  (Or, maybe she's not as bad and she's just amping up the drama for the show.)  Kandi's voice sounded incredible during that rehearsal.

2.  NeNe is pretty delusional if she thinks that acting classes are unnecessary and that there's no need to read scripts.  I cry "foul" that she's left "millions" on the table with offers she's turned down (unless they were offers to do porn or something...).

3.  Fool Cynthia once, shame on you, Peter.  Fool her twice, and shame on Cynthia.  Who knows how many times she's had to learn about things or decisions that Peter has made in some way other than directly from him.  She probably had quite a little nest egg from her years of modeling before she got involved with him.

4.  Kenya -- Not much to say other than poor Velvet.  :-(    I thought her Aunt did a good job being sympathetic, while at the same time not fanning the flames of Kendra's hysterical sobbing.

5.  Phaedra -- The pottery scene seemed like such a setup.  Not much else to say.  It seems very odd to go from being a lawyer into the mortuary business, but good luck to her, if that's what she's interested in.

Eeeek, my first previously.tv post!

I can't believe I have to say this, but I really felt for Kenya with the death of Velvet.  Like her I'm single and live alone and lost my cat over the holidays and it was (is!) really, really tough.  And Velvet's death was a lot more traumatic than my cat's.  That being said...girl can dial up the dramatics to 11.  It was hard to watch

I totally missed the Phaedra/Apollo pottery scene, which a) Thank you jesus and b) It wasn't until the end that I realized I hadn't ever seen her on screen.

Porsha is special.  And not in a good way.

Porsha's singing in the beginning was not good. Her singing in general is… okay… but she really goes off tune at the ends of her phrases. How is she going to sing in this musical? Also a massive facepalm at her "assistant" who can't read e-mails.

Yes, poor Velvet. What a tragic way to go. :-(

Kandi sings a lot better than she acts… The other people she hired that are super famous (D Woods, Shirley Murdoch, and that other guy, forget his name) were all really great though.

Poor Todd. As badly as Momma Joyce treats him, he still always tries to be nice to her. Does anyone else think he looks like Kanye West?

Eddie Levert, lead singer of The O'Jays (For the Love of Money, Love Train, I Love Music, Use Ta Be My Girl, etc...)

I felt for Todd when he said that he hoped that Mama Joyce would love him, one day. If I were him, I wouldn't hold my breath. She seemed very not self-aware while watching the play's rehearsal. I hope that she didn't disrupt their wedding in any way, last week.

Cynthia needs to separate her funds away from Peter's immediately and not tell him. Let him succeed or fail on his own. He's taken too many liberties with her money in secret, and she has a child to support. He's leading her right into bankruptcy.

I'm so sorry for Kenya's loss. I don't think that she was faking that raw, realness. I think that we got a glimpse of the real Kenya for the first time.

Nene needs to go have several seats in the corner.

"Does she have the awareness to be embarrassed by this behavior now that it's aired?"

(I will try to figure out how to quote in here, sorry)

No, the word "awareness" isn't in NeNe's vocabulary.

I may have mentioned that Cynthia's red curly wig and the blue eyeshadow reminds me of Pennywise The Clown. And for whatever reason, her head is looking square. Sort of like Flathead in Dick Tracy. I don't know what she's doing different this episode.

I believe Cynthia is wearing that god-awful makeup to hide her eyes. They are probably red and puffy, her face swollen from crying. Everyone is concentrating on the makeup, she's counting on that so it take  the focus away from her eyes,IMO.  Not sure what NeNe's excuse is for her eyes, or her hair or just her. I believe she is right about the editing ,like when she makes those ugly faces, her profile, when she opens her mouth full of teeth (ok its always open because she can't close it) she is  becoming the character for  a role  for  a TV, film or broadway production  and the editors just edit  the words. This is how she let executives  see what she will  do when she get a suitable script. You might say and I'm sure she would,; its called reaching deep inside, elevating her, using her raw talent. And she is letting them see her raw talent and how it would be stifled by going to acting classes.. At least HSN has something to thankful for, she decided to do fashions and not wigs.

Hilarious! My partner said the same thing. "Who does she think she is, Meryl Streep?" Nene cracks me up, but this Diva Nene has to go. I miss the humble, grateful Nene on the gay pride parade float in L.A.

My heart broke for Kenya.  Her aunt is wise - maybe Velvet did leave to make room for Kenya's future child. I've taken a liking to Kenya much like I did Danielle Staub on RHONJ. Maybe on some level, my batshit crazy &  their batshit crazy mesh.

First post on previously.TV (after 14 years on TWoP). Is it good or bad that it is on a Real Housewives franchise forum? Now that I think about it, my first Tweet was about RHONJ. Good or bad, at least I've established a pattern.
