  1. Mine made this report about last night my last post at TWoP: I had a really good time at the starting line. Hello to everyone who was there. Today is Phil's Birthday. The crowd sang Happy Birthday to him. I spoke to Luke who raced with his mother twice, and I was standing next to Frank from Season 1. We talked a little about TARCon until Phil told him that Tara was standing a little further down, and he went over to talk to her. I talked to Elise about the time that she took the Red Eye in just to come to TARCon, and then, flew right back home . She couldn't believe that I remembered that. Is it really a spoiler if the producers feed you the information and ask you to repeat it back to them several times? I feel like they want us to post what happened: Phil paces and memorizes his lines before he gets in front of the camera . The famous lines "The world is waiting for you. Good luck. Travel safe. Go!" we're filmed before the racers got there. He said it again standing in front of the Racers. There's a new element to the show called "The Save ". Phil told us what it was, then when the racers were standing at the starting line, he asked us to yell out the name of the new element. It's similar to Tyler Perry's special immunity idol from Survivor. If you find it, and you're about to be Philiminated, you can hand it to Phil after he says the words, and save yourself to race another leg. When Phil announced it, it was clear that the racers didn't know about it beforehand. They were all very excited. Good thing? Bad thing? There's a young lady, racing with her boyfriend, who has only one arm. Mark's son Ian noticed her on the Times Square webcam all the way from Fort Hood in Texas. They got out of their taxi and stood and smooched right in front if me, but I didn't notice. She's the girl who lost her arm in a shark attack. There was a movie made about her. The next clue was in Flushing Meadow Park. It wasn't spelled out to the racers when they opened their clue. The fans were telling them where to go. The racers really do whoosh past Phil at the beginning. That sound is not faked. Phil told the racers that they would be going somewhere "tropical with white sand beaches". They were leaving from JFK Airport. The was a 5:15 a.m. Flight leaving for Puerto Rico this morning, but I've seen reports of a later flight going to St. Thomas.
  2. Mama Joyce needs to go sit down somewhere. I understand respecting your mother, but Kandi is an adult, married woman with 2 daughters now (her's and Todd's). She is taking good care of her mother financially. Mama Joyce needs to wish her well and let her live. Kenya needs to stop pretending like that fight was unprovoked. She wants to sit on the sofa and sprout moral platitudes like she's a pretty princess and has no idea why Porsha grabbed her, but she needs to take responsibility for her actions as well. Nene doesn't seem to have any friends left. She wants to be Queen Bee, but all of the women look like they're over her. Cynthia was her last close friend. She should probably move to Hollywood.
  3. Last night's show was just a mess. I'm glad that we finally got to see what happened after weeks of speculation and rumors. Kenya's props should have been taken away from her the moment that she started using them in a bullying and intimidating manor. When she started saying "Get fired. Get fired.", that made me think that they had been warned against using physical violence, and also that Kendra decided to intentionally provoke the other women. It's sad that Nene has now lost Cynthia as a friend, but it's her own fault. They barely looked at or spoke to each other last night. I guess the friendship contract has been broken, but you don't get to speak to or about another woman's husband unapologetically the way that Nene did, and expect that woman to remain friends with you. I'm so happy that Kandi's show did well and that she's distributing the CD's and DVD's herself. She deserves her happiness. Mama Joyce's opinion didn't stop her wedding. Good for her!
  4. It's interesting how SR thinks that "the media" chooses the President. Bomb goes off at a funeral, and "the media" chooses to show the Vice President nursing the wounded after starting out with a split screen of her and then the President giving a speech at the White House. Would "the media" ever really choose to show someone else while the President was making a speech during a tragic event? It's something to think about. Who was Olivia Pope to think that she had the right to spill Mellie's secret and then tell Fitz that she didn't want him to leave his wife "right now"? I mean, really, who does she think she is? That relationship disgusts me. Why Jake would still want to "stand in the sun" with her after she's told him over and over again that she is in love with another man, I will never understand. Mama and Papa Pope are both monsters. I thought that I didn't know which was worse until little Gerry fell down. R.I.P. This show is completely nuts, but I'm glad that I stuck it out until the finale. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll watch next season.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. The song that restarted Donny's career, Soldier of Love, was originally being played on radio stations without announcing the artist's name at Donny's request. I've seen interviews where he said that he didn't think that audiences would give the song a chance if they knew it was him, but I don't know if the advice came from Michael Jackson. I wish that Charlie hadn't dropped his cane. That should have been the first 40 point dance of the season, in my opinion, not the James and Peta dance. I thought that they were over scored. I'm surprised that Cody was the one who went home. What happened to his millions of Twitter followers? Even if they only watched to see him dance, and then turned the channel, I expected him to be at least in the top 4. Nene is being paid to show up for rehearsals and dance. That session that she walked out on should be deducted from her salary. Tony is a professional, and she wasted his time.
  6. She didn't know, but now, we do. Fitz is not the father.
  7. What just happened?!!! None of these people are worth rooting for! Everybody is hateful. I love this show!
  8. I loved seeing David Cook back on last night. He had a lot of practical advice for the kids. Musical advice, arrangement advice, and camera blocking advice. Now we see how much he was aware of the cameras during his season. Smart Cookie. I think that Jena gets it. Her arrangement may not have hit in all of the planned segments last night, but it sounded good in rehearsals. Sam would do well to pay attention Harry's suggestion about Ricky Nelson videos. I didn't notice the resemblance before last night, but he should be doing better with the votes if he learns to loosen up a bit. I think that CJ is someone whose recordings will be better than his live performances, and that's a problem on this show. I usually tend to like the rockers more than the others, but I'm not crazy about Caleb's personality. It doesn't matter how good your voice is if you're not likeable. I'm a huge fan of Harry Connick, Jr.'s music, I've been buying his CD's for 20+ years, but now that I'm seeing him regularly on television, I think that he's a little off his rocker. That stunt with the little girl on his shoulders would have been cute if she was one of his daughters, but with a stranger? He really shouldn't have done that.
  9. Eddie Levert, lead singer of The O'Jays (For the Love of Money, Love Train, I Love Music, Use Ta Be My Girl, etc...) I felt for Todd when he said that he hoped that Mama Joyce would love him, one day. If I were him, I wouldn't hold my breath. She seemed very not self-aware while watching the play's rehearsal. I hope that she didn't disrupt their wedding in any way, last week. Cynthia needs to separate her funds away from Peter's immediately and not tell him. Let him succeed or fail on his own. He's taken too many liberties with her money in secret, and she has a child to support. He's leading her right into bankruptcy. I'm so sorry for Kenya's loss. I don't think that she was faking that raw, realness. I think that we got a glimpse of the real Kenya for the first time. Nene needs to go have several seats in the corner.
  10. Tonight, Olivia Pope literally became a whore. A whore in a fabulous coat that I would love to have, but a whore nonetheless. Who are she and Fitz to prevent Mellie from being happy? They're hypocrites. I wonder if Huck has the skills to get all of the B613 files back online before Mama Pope makes Liv's beloved Fitz go boom.
  11. Hi, everyone. I migrated over from a link that RachelRSL posted. I'm happy to see you all. Hopefully, more people will follow in the next few days.
