Pierre is one of Mika's roosters (I guess when they first got him they thought he was a female.  I  fast forwarded through the video as she's boring and I can stand to see animals teased until they shriek like that).

Count me in as one who would rather listen to Joe and Mika than Joy Reid; and like someone posted above, I don't know why.  I still miss Steve Kornacki on Saturday mornings...sitting around with the pastries, discussing Chris Christie and The Bridge!  His hyper-ness was contagious.  Keep Joy on Saturdays and add Kornacki, too. He could take Hugh Hewitt's spot or the newswoman with long blonde hair...can never remember her name.  Alex something.  Or bring back Alex Wagner...used to have an afternoon show on MSNBC...think she is on weekends now.  Maybe another network?  The MJ replacements could be fantastic...if we could choose them.  Maybe via lottery.  Am I getting the Alex(es) mixed up?

The latest ratings for Friday April 13. Boring Joe dropped to #83 out of 150 cable tv shows. Ratings in the key demo( 18-49)  are .14. Total viewers are 1,170,000 down from 1,195,000 on Thursday April 12, 2018. I find it unusual that Morning Joe only gets 1 ratings estimate( 6 am-9 am)  whereas Fox Friends get a separate rating for 6 am, & 7 am & 8 am.

Tuesday Recap. It's morning Hypocrites.Mika & her new raccoon eyes TM Katty Kay is wearing a black top. Joe is wearing his glasses . They are on set together with Heileman, Willie & Ratner.

First Topic: Sean Hanniy is a hypocrite for not disclosing his relationship with Michael Cohen while ranting about the raid on his office.

Willie was upset that Hannity had dinner at the White House & Mar a Largo.

Willie has amnesia. Mika & Joe had dinner at the White House & spent New Years Eve at Mar a Largo. I expect better of Willie.

Mika is giddy about Hannity being caught not disclosing his relationship with Cohen.

I get that cable tv hosts like to make fun of their competitors. However, Mika was not so giddy when her "good friend" Brian Williams was suspended or Mark Halperin was fired.

It would be fun for Mika having to explain her friendship with disgraced journalist Charlie Rose who was a guest at her engagement party.

Willie doesn't seem so concerned about Chuck Todd's interviewing  his wife's political clients without disclosing it.

Heilemann is also annoying me today. He never commented on Morning Joe about his good friend Mark Halperin.

It's nice that the Morning Joe panel never challenges Ratner over his securities violations .

I don't like Hannity & have no clue why he would use Michael Cohen as a lawyer.

Why didn't Joe bring up who the judge in the Cohen case is ? It's the infamous Judge Kimba Wood? Don't they remember that Clinton appointed her to his cabinet but she had to withdraw for hiring an illegal immigrant as a nanny. She also applied to work as a Playboy Bunny. These panelist have no memory.

As much as I am enjoying the much deserved dunking Hannity is taking, my first thought was when those two were going on about how horrible all of this is and all I could think of was thank God you two have never lied to your audience . . . . as for why the lawyer named Hannity in court, according to I believe the swooney Mr. Avenatti, Cohen's lawyer was arguing not to release his name and the judge said he had to either by writing it down or saying it out loud and for some bizarre reason he just blurted it out.

Mika & Joe should realize that Karma exists for a reason. I am sure they found it hilarious when Mika was crying on the phone to Roger Ailes at Fox News to not report her affair with Joe on the NY Post Page Six.

I am sure  Heilemann didn't find it funny when his co host & co writer Mark Halperin was outed as a sexual predator on his co workers.

He lost a lot of money on cancelled bok deals etc.

Heilemann got off easy , because no one on MSNBC would ask him about his relationship with Halperin.

I really enjoyed that Avenatti segment (besides just looking at him).  I was beginning to think he was just playing to the cameras but now I believe he knows exactly what he's doing and that is to continue to drive Trump and team completely nuts so they keep making these unforced errors.  I'm glad they all kissed and made up as it will be great to have him on the show.

He didn't use the words "I'm sorry" but he did acknowledge that there was turbulence the last time Avenatti was on the show and that he was out of line on some things (this is where Wonder Woman Mika jumps in and says mee too!).  Avenatti dragged him for a bit (that is one Alpha male) but the segment ended well with Avenatti agreeing to come back.  I'll post the link if it shows up on Mediaite.

Did you notice when Michael Avenatti acknowledged that Mika wanted to jump into the conversations?  All the while Joe was too busy too busy as usual with his own talking points.

Essentially, Joe had to apologize to get Michael back on the show.  It was a good interview. I liked hearing Michael state that he never bluffs.

You are right that it was more of an acknowledgement and not a direct apology.  Michael Avenatti used the words, "I appreciate" in response.

She looked like Trump dealing with uncomfortable questions from reporters. Swoony picked up on it too (how could he not!) and rested his hand on the table well beyond his allotted space between him and Mika.

Yep, it was interesting to watch Mika during that segment.  The one thing I first noticed is her chair was so close to Joe's I thought they were duct taped together and then after Joe offered his apologies she rose up and came to his defense that her behavior was just as bad.  I did notice Avenatti sneaking his hand into their personal space.  He really is the master of intimidation.  He is the epitome of "Don't bring a knife to a gun fight" kind of guy.

Rachel had the McClatchy reporter on last night, he said they had at least two sources, and had worked on the story for around three months.

I'm hedging because I was half paying attention, so it could be more sources and more months. But it's a solid story.

I don't get Joe and his wavering back and forth with support of Trump's minions. Pick a lane, Doucheborough. 

Would it be considered lying to your viewers when you claim during your interviews with Trump you ask him hard question and don't hold back, and then it's confirmed you're schmoozing with him at Mar A Lago, feeding him questions pre interview, et al, which had to be disclosed thru other outlets? Is that considered lying, Joe? Asking for a friend. 

I loved Avenatti's "I know you've criticized me off air Joe", comment. As in, knock off the bullshit, just admit you were wrong.  Also I could have your girlfriend if I wanted to.

Avenatti said that Joe took some shots at him, and understood why Joe did it... and then Avenatti stated why he did what he did for an extended uninterrupted period.  They just glided past their beef.  I didn't see any jostling or hurt feelings or any shots at all.  The only weird part was Mika.  She interrupted to double down on the CD "excuse me, DVD" in such an odd manner, I let the weights drop at the gym to turn around to see what the f was going on.

Avenatti was born to do legal work in public unlike almost anyone else I've ever seen.  Fictional attorneys don't have his 360' vision and wits.  He is not only the smartest person in that room, he's the smartest person in NYC.

Joe's first question to Avenatti, which probably clocks in at around 30 seconds, asks Avenatti what happened that caused Hannity to be named, and then realized he asked Avenatti a question without seeming like he already knew the answer, so then Joe answered his own question to "prove" he's as smart at Avenatti, and then asked Avenatti, "What do you think?"  I laughed to myself.

He's one of those guys that I just believe every single word he says. Experience says he's a scumbag like every other non-Legal Aid lawyer out there, but he has such an innate believability.  Like that riff they were doing on the DVD that he was threatening Trump with weeks ago.
