Ever since I found out she auditioned for Laurel, I've been very bitter that the role went to KC instead.

So Cupid, Katana, Nyssa, Roy..... That's enough to keep me watching. Damn you show. Not crazy about some of the other things I'm reading, particularly anything to do with Oliver and Laurel having anything to do with each other, but maybe it won't be as bad as it sounds? Yeah ok. :(

I liked your post, bc yeah, that actress would have been great as Laurel. (She played Mary as mildly flirty, maternal, devoted to John, badass, smart, scared, etc. She was legit awesome in the role.) But no can does-by with the good stuff equalizing the bad. Sooooooo much bad coming up. I really hope they don't do the final five minutes of the season as all O/F happy again, because it's silly. You can't have that much relationship drama, three years in a row, and have it all made good in five minutes. Still thinking Felicity may leave with her father or some such at the end of the season, unless the CW puts its foot down.

Echoing the sentiment that she would have made a much better Laurel. Writing still would have been a problem, but the right actress could have gone a long way.

They sent some press a screener of 4x11. One of the press tweeted it.

That's weird right? Two episodes back to back.

Cupid's back. Hmm. I like the actress and I liked how the actress played her. She was fun and crazy and OTT. Not sure there was any real longevity in her character though so not sure why she's back. I could say that about a lot of characters on this show though. LOL.

Isn't Cupid the remaining member of the Suicide Squad?

Words can't express the rage of them repeating the stupidity of Thea leaving with her POS "father"who killed her father and killed over 500 people by having Felicity leave with her likely piece of crap father NO Just NO

It's like they write angst for an imaginary viewer who's never watched tv [or read a fiction book] ever in their lives, so they literally lack the education to be able to recognize the artificial bullshit.

I just love it that SA got his ass out of the line for the BMD, by pretty much confessing that Oliver had to lie for plot. I love confirmation of plot-driven decisions like this, because if I see the clear mechanics behind the narrative, it loses all of its power over my reactions/emotions about it. Thanks, Steve!

Seriously, it's like they make instant oatmeal in the microwave serve it in fancy dish and then are surprised when we don't rave about it being a classically prepared gourmet dish.

Loved SA and his response about the BMD, I think the BM & secret child in SA was going to be a great story, I guess he just forgot who is in charge of the writing. He wanted & thought it would be Disneyland and instead we got a traveling carnival with overpriced tickets and broken rides.

I look at Team Arrow like it's Felicity's child. She put her life and soul into it for the past 4 years and made it her own mission. Team Arrow gives her happiness and gives her life purpose. In the end Team Arrow isn't really about each individual person. Team Arrow is about saving the city.

Couples get divorced, yes, but they don't abandon their children.

Good Analogy!! :)

But then we wouldn't gave EBR so I don't mind how it worked out,

I like Cupid, she's crazy enough that she makes the others look sane.

Since the diagnosis was super vague and basically boiled down to nerve damage, I'm wondering if there's even going to be a PT miracle cure at this point, or if she doesn't just start regaining feeling a little bit at a time as she heals.

Her recovery will be a plot afterthought because the story is just a plot prop. It's being done to distract the audience that this season will have big FS moments and arcs. When in all actuality, its just filler for FS while the story focuses on OQ & his drama.

Remember when FS was given that major arc in s3 with a real choice between OQ & a major love interest? Remember how is was supposed to be about her and finding her strength? Yea, that didn’t really come out like that in s3.

Just like TQ, MQ & LL who were all promised to have these amazing arcs, and then we were delivered what we were delivered. A premature death, mind-raping killing and whatever that rise to BC arc was supposed to be.

Just because EBR will act the shit out of the part does not mean the writing will be anywhere near the quality and level it should be. Which is why we will probably still not get any type of focus on a cure or recovery, she’ll just stand up one day because someone will tell her to walk again in 419/420. Perhaps if OQ was paralyzed things might be different;;;

I truly don't mean this as snarky as it's going to come across, honestly, but what exactly over the course of the past three and a half years of this show would make you think this would be given time and sensitivity and quality writing? If that's something that you expect at all from Arrow, you're just always going to be disappointed.

Something Felicity fans have been waiting for is happening in this week's #Arrow.

I don't care what y'all say, this episode will be worth it just for Felicity's codename alone :') (unless it's Overwatch... then ew. No)

Nothing really after s3. I feel like s1&2 were decent writing and engaging, even if they were predictable. And I didn't care about the sensitivity issue until Arrow went out of their way to find sensitive issues like forced marriages, gas chambers, stalking and now paralysis. I can stomach their stupidity based or comicy plots, but when they go out of their way to press sensitivity buttons, it just pisses me off. I guess I'm just not that excited about the plot line. Not even EBRs acting can get me excited for it. But everyone speculating that there will be some big PT discovery just seems like a waste of time now. Honestly, I wonder what's the point of even reading the spoilers is at this point. It's wash, rinse, repeat only now there might be bleach in the washer to ruin your clothes. We keep on trying to find these great amazing twists and interpretations, when we really shouldn't even bother. At this point, most of us here can write out the entire rest of the season only much better. The only surprise for me was Cupid, but what really is she gonna do.

I've been over-analyzing the spoilers for just a little over a year now and I guess I've just hit that point where I might as well just sum everything up to because plot. Which would be fine if they kept out the cultural & emotional insensitivity. I can deal with plotty plot and predictable twists, but their taste level has taken a plummet since s3 and only seems to be getting worse. It's not longer just predictable, it's tasteless.

As I had no ideas or suggestions on what her codename could be, I don't think I care what it is. I do have the right to change my mind when the episode airs though. LMAO.

I wonder if she gives herself the codename? I'd quite like that. But part of me would love it if Diggle gave her the codename just like she did with him. If I can't get a Delicity scene, just give me the Delicity feels another way.

Now I want, nay, need this to happen. I need some positive Diggle supporting Felicity action, and him giving her a codename would be perfect.

Same. I'll have a case of the sads when it doesn't happen. We're not that lucky. LOL.

I've been expecting this season to end with Felicity going somewhere since before the season started.  Oliver's left, Thea's left, Diggle's commitment to the team was in doubt while both Oliver and Felicity left.  Someone is going to take off but maybe the twist will be that it's not voluntary.  (Just to be clear, she'd be back for season 5)

Oliver and Felicity probably break up in 4-15 and the death will probably happen in 4-19 and if we are exceptionally lucky, there will be something at least marginally good in 4-20 (a thaw and perhaps a kiss [#wishlist2016] even if it's brushed off as not changing anything) but no, I don't expect them to get back together before the end of the season AND I am also fully expecting some kind of scene where the audience knows they both want to try again but something happens to either cause a misunderstanding or one of them is coerced into leaving right after they'd had their reunion.

It gets a bit complicated with Felicity as CEO so either she just ends up telecommuting again or Oliver is given another shot at being CEO while she's gone.

Still, since it seems likely that the show will go on to a 7th season, I think this break up could well be milked a LOT longer than expected.

Poor Poppy. I can't wait to find out what's happen......zzzzzzz

I felt bad for her when she was blasted for being too old and unattractive for Oliver. Those were both lame and untrue claims IMO. However, the more I see of her acting the worse I think it is. I can only be so sympathetic about the material she's given when she seems to make it even worse. The scene in which she finds out her brother's dead left a permanent mark.

He loves Parenthood, so I always assumed he imagined it playing out like family drama. How does Oliver react to missing a decade of his son's life, how does he view Moira's actions and does he examine how he acted at the time and the way it may have prompted both her and Samantha to act the way they did, does the kid reject him, how does it affect him and Felicity and does it prompt them the have the kid talk... I think he just forgot what show he was on.

The hell? Maybe Cupid is writing fanfic about SC's recently broken up couple and this is in her mind. Complete with her as the maid of honor and the Arrow and Deathshot swooping in to fight for her.

Oliver... you big beautiful dumbass pine tree...

Yeah but hey, think of all the pretty videos and GIFs coming our way.

I joke but seriously, it's like they are trying to give a peace offering to the fandom after they make it implode.

You know, Cupid's appearance will be meaningless and incomplete if she doesn't compare the Arrow and The Green Arrow. I liked the first one better. Would have let him skewer me any way he liked.

I really wish canadagraphs could get another job or at least stalk a different show.

That being said wtf are they doing? Hallucination/dream is most likely but could it be a flash forward? They do like those. Or it could be both like the riding into the sunset that was meant to be a dream and reality.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I don't want a wedding this season. :/

I'm like 99% positive it's not a wedding :) Seriously, especially with after everything SA said at HVFF, it's not likely at all and not likely to be a flash forward.

Oliver is going to be a dumbass and dream about what he lost. And it's going to hurt because of those stupid puppy dog eyes

Arrow is like clockwork at this point. The writers always try to give something good to Olicity the episode after they do something bad with them (see 2x14* and 3x16).

*2x14 is one of my least favorite episodes, but imo the Olicity scenes were supposed to be good

It's just with this shows budget it seems weird if they film a wedding in a dream and then not refer back to it later in the season. I hope you're right but the way this show churns through plot I would not be surprised.

I remember 3x15 for Felicity sleeping with Ray. What happened with her and Oliver in that one?

I'd be positive the wedding was a dream or hallucination (things that make sense) were it not for the proposal. Something else I was sure wasn't happening and then, what do you know.

Do you really think the show is going to break them up in episode 15, then have them marry an episode later and in an episode called "Broken Hearts"? I know the writers are stupid and they burn through plot, but even they have their limits, imo :p

Not only that but this is episode 16 and not during sweeps... I don't really think the writers would ever put their wedding in a low-key episode.

Yeah, that's very likely a dream/daydream or hallucination or drug-induced vision. Why would Cupid be at all present for the real wedding of Oliver and Felicity? But come on, pap dude! Pics or it didn't happen, tbh. This is supposed to be your job!

Do you mean 3x16? I don't recall any good Olicity in 3x15. Then again, I think I didn't watch that episode in full or I blocked that episode from memory entirely.

No the 4x16 is most definitely a dream or hallucination. But its just that they like to have a payoff to these types of things. I was thinking possible wedding in the finale. I'm still logically thinking it won't, but the probability has increased a little bit.

I don't want a fake wedding. And it's cruel to make it a dream sequence right after breaking them up, with us knowing that they're still going to be broken up until much later in the season. Remember when we were terrified the Olicity hospital kiss would be a dream? Or that the sex scene in 320 wouldn't be real? Or them driving off into the sunset? I wouldn't see a dream wedding as a peace offer, just more salt into a wound.

Possibly theory?! The CanadaGraphs said he saw Amell in a tux and "a dress" with a Felicity tag on it. Nothing about what kind of dress it was. Well Oliver was wearing a tux for Digg's wedding wasn't he?

Sooooo what if it's Donna and Lance getting married? Oliver would be in a tux for that (possibly) and Felicity would be wearing a dress- and assuming she would most likely be maid of honour it would probably be a pretty nice dress too.

Oh, if Cupid drugs them, that opens up possibilities. She could be playing wedding with her real life Ken and Barbie. So it would be real, but not real. Is there a dress for Thea? If not, it could be her to the rescue.
