Ok whatever here are the rest.

Five get in.  Feel like Vinatieri, Gates and Jared Allen are locks.  Do not feel like Luke Kuechly is a first ballot Hall of Famer.  Fred Taylor or Reggie Wayne either.  I’m 50/50 on Woodson, Suggs, Holt and Smith.  No real opinion on everyone else.

I disagree on Keuchly.  I think he is qualified to be first timer, but the fact that he retired early makes me think the voters might consider him a quitter and not vote him as a first timer.

No way is Eli a first timer, IMO.  He won two SBs, that's it.  He was a high end average QB all other times.

ETA. sorry abt the quadruple posts.  Stupid phone kept saying the post wasn't saved.

I was so sure the Rams defense was going to give away the game on that final Cardinals drive that I had just said something very unkind about them to my cat when, voila, interception.  I don't know what took so long to review, or why it was a "stands" rather than "confirmed" because that ball didn't move - he squeezed it like it was his sworn enemy's neck - but, whatever -- interception it is.  Whew!  (I fully expected this to be a lost season, but once they went on that win streak, I wanted a playoff spot.)

He retired due to concussions.   I hope that isn't held against him in an effort to hide concussions some more.

Eli is getting in just because he ruined the Patriots perfect season and his last name is Manning.   Which is kind of not fair.  I remember all the people who called him a failure and not being dedicated like Peyton was.   Was he a good player - yes.   HOF worthy - I don't think so.

I think Suggs and Woodson make it.

Welp.  Rodgers just made history as the most sacked QB in NFL history. 🤣

Annnnddd....he just threw an interception.  🤣

Aaaannndddd he just got called for unnecessary roughness! 🤣

Annnnddddd the Jets are about to lose another game. 🤣 🤣 🤣

They're getting pummeled by the Bills 33-0. Just another week of ineptness from these losers.

Also, the Cowboys are getting their assed kicked by the Eagles 34-7. HA HA HA HA!!!!

There is a more competitive game FOX could switch to HINT HINT HINT.

I’m honestly surprised neither CBS nor FOX has switched from these ass-kickings.

Only so many games to switch to, although I know you meant wanting to see the Giants finally winning a game.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a week where they played as many games outside Sunday afternoon as they did on Sunday afternoon.  Two games on Wednesday, one on Thursday, three on Saturday, one tonight and one tomorrow night, leaving only eight of sixteen matchups in the traditional window.  And six of those were early games.  @mojoween, your favorite guy has the national Fox broadcast.

We have the twanging rubberband providing color commentary for the Vikings/GB game.

How does a twanging rubberband come out of Northern California?  Maybe when your face is surgically frozen, you just can’t get the words out.  What bothers me is not his delivery, but his banality.  A color guy should tell me something I don’t know about what I just saw.

I still listen to games called by Greg Olsen with interest. If he’s miffed that he was demoted to second-string, I can’t tell by listening.  He’s still the best color guy working right now.

He handled that with so much class, and I respect him for it.  Unfortunately, that's the nature of their business.  You can always get bumped for newer talent or star athletes.  Better to stay classy, then if the new person fails, you might just get back to where you were, but if not, you come out the other side showing what true class is.

Why can't the Bucs play every game like they did today?  Good job, team!!

Saquon Barkley has 2000 yards in his first year as a Eagles. Amazing what a guy can do with a good offensive line. He would have a chance to break the singles season record next week vs the Giants but I don't know how much he plays with the division wrapped up and they would know how f they have a chance at the #1 seed by tomorrow. They need both Vikings and Lions to lose this week to even have a shot so its unlikely .

This was the most important win for the Vikings. If we lose next week, at least we will be #5 seed.

If Vikings had lost today, then we'd be 13-3,and Packers 12-4. Then in week 18, if Vikings lose and Packers win, then both teams would be 12-4. Not sure who would be #5 and #6 in this situation.

If Washington wins tonight, then they will be tied with Green Bay. Not sure who would #6 and #7 seed here.

But for now the worst situation for the Vikings is #5, which is actually OK.

Terry Bradshaw fell into “Baker Baker Touchdown Maker” and someone needs to remind him that nickname was already claimed in the 80’s.

Speaking of Big Blue, Giants Twitter is apoplectic about them winning today and fuck that noise.  I never have, and never will be, in the “Suck for Luck” camp.  If you aren’t going to try, then don’t even suit up.  Just forfeit the game.

I'm with Michael Strahan -- the three hours* of enjoyment of watching them win the game is not worth the four years it's now going to take to get a QB.  They went from the first to fourth pick in the draft.  No, they shouldn't have thrown the game, they played like they should play, but I'm thoroughly irritated they finally figured out how to play a game when all it would do is hurt them.  That was Strahan's attitude, too, that he'll never encourage guys not to go all out, what he's irritated by is, damn, dudes, why did you wait until now?

*He got three hours; I got about two minutes.

I get that, but that’s basically saying that every game should be won.  They were in the New Orleans game, they were in the Carolina game and should absolutely have won that.  They were in the Pittsburgh game for a time.  Why does San Francisco get a pass for injuries but the Giants don’t?

Honestly if you look at the schedule, there are more close games than not.  So, disgruntled players bitching in the locker room aside, it’s not like they were laying down for ten weeks.

For the most part the Offense has played great all season.

Maybe the duck on the field was their good luck charm!  I'm glad that someone was able to get it without hurting it.

Between college & NFL football, the number of brawls we're seeing seems to be on the rise.  I saw one ref knocked down and another one bloodied.  C'mon, guys!  Pull yourselves together and act like you've been there before.
