bilgistic July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 (edited) Apologies to the regular topic mod, but I'm eager to talk about this episode. (Maybe you're on July 4th vacation?) Episode synopsis: The doctors help a former actress who lost her breasts to a flesh-eating disease; Dr. Dubrow gives hope to a spiritual woman who has a butt on her belly; and Dr. Nassif tries to remove a thumbprint left on a man's nose by another surgeon. EDIT: Episode is number 11, not 21. This is why I'm not a moderator. Ugh! Edited July 6, 2015 by bilgistic Link to comment
Cosmic Muffin July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 Woman who said of her original breast implants that they looked natural - nooooo they did not. They got her jobs and they were what she wanted, but they did not look in any way natural. I hope the repair surgery brings her the jobs she wants, but she could work on being less shallow. 1 Link to comment
Lizzing July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 The nose surgery Paul does on this show is always solid. He got great, proportionate results, which I know will shrink a bit over time. I still want to know who did his after those double breaks on RHoBH. I'm glad the tummy tuck lady got a good result, but I got the vibe there was something "more" off in her marriage. I hope not. But OMG, the zombie boob case: I cannot believe I have something in common with Terry. I thought I was the last person on the planet to remember Sherman Oaks who wasn't involved in production. (It was on Showtime, set up kinda like pre Reno 911/The Office/early Parks & Rec/early Modern Family mixed pot: a docu filmmaker followed around a Sherman Oaks plastic surgeon and his nutty family and recorded their antics.) It frankly skeeves me out that I have ANYTHING in common with Terry, other than a like (though not a passionate love) for onion rings. I'm bummed at how bad Heather looked...not the boobs, they turned out great, and MRSA is some serious shit...but at the bad Botox forehead and all the hairline sun wrinkle lines, crows feet around her eyes, and the overdone lips. I'm not a fan of any tan look that isn't biologically given by melanin levels, but I'd rather see a spray on tan than a the skin version of what happens to vinyl. She looked older than her 47 years. 2 Link to comment
Muffyn July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 (edited) As always, Dr. Nassif did a great nose job. I must admit I loved the nose guy playing the Greek chorus by commenting that Dubrow was too busy giving Nassif a hard time about Swedish fish to listen to his problem with his nose. There is not enough shut up in the world for Terry Dubrow. Tummy tuck lady has way more issues than just the scars on her belly. I wonder if those two have ever consummated their marriage. If they have, I can bet it was not a particularly pleasurable experience for either party. All of her crystals and waving, good luck cat statues will not make up for whatever is going through her head. Edited July 6, 2015 by Muffyn 4 Link to comment

I for one am beyond sick of Terry's nasty remarks about Dr. Nassif. Is this sppsd to pass for "friendly banter"? I hated Heather, the vapid famewhore bimbo who obviously was only interested in getting back into "acting career", AKA "porno". The "spiritual" women is a moron. I also find it hard to believe the doctors allowed the moron to bring in "good luck charms" and burn sage in the operating room. Andrew sure was whiny, was he not? 4 Link to comment
cynicat July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 I for one am beyond sick of Terry's nasty remarks about Dr. Nassif. Is this sppsd to pass for "friendly banter"? I would be simply annoyed at his comments if it wasn't for the fact that he's a medical professional, not to mention one who makes his living off the insecurities of others. It's inexcusable for him to make fat shaming comments about anyone, let alone another doctor. To make matters worse, he does this in front of patients, which crosses an ethical line, IMO. 4 Link to comment
Ubiquitous July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 You could have a fun drinking game with all of Heather's references to her "acting" career and how it was brought to a screeching halt by her lack of big boobs. Because, sure, the minute you don't have a set of nice jugs to wave at the camera, you're toast in Hollywood. Like, oh, Angelina Jolie. Betty White. Meryl Streep. Heh. Unless you're doing porno, but I'm sure there's a "zombie porno" niche out there she could fulfill with her "acting". I don't know what the deal is with that woman who's so into cosmic foo-foo, and her husband. Maybe it's what it seems on the surface: he really deeply loves her, and has been patient and caring about her body image issues. Or, maybe they're both idiots. Whatever, I hope they have many happy years together. Did anyone else think her 'spiritualist" was Terry wearing a bad disguise? 2 Link to comment

He is off the rails with his "picking" on Dr. Nassif. I refuse to believe that the saging was actually in the surgery center. No reputable surgery center would ever, ever let that happen. Again, with Dubrow, he put big boobs in someone with too small a frame for them. That woman was very thin and didn't need D-cups. I don't have issue with nose-job guy except that he still sounded very nasal after his procedure. Maybe that will clear up after a while. Link to comment
Mu Shu July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 I was confused by boob lady. If she really was Pam Anderson's major competition for big boob roles, surely she knows Pam hasn't been getting big boob work since the early 2000's. There just comes a point in time when you start using your brains and let the young 'uns get the big boob work. I stil have no idea who she is/was, but she sure looks haggard. I liked tummy woman since she was well spoken and didn't seem like an asshole. Glad they removed her ass stomach. Terry is an asshole. 1 Link to comment
Galloway Cave July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 She looked older than her 47 years. Holy crap, Heather is only 47? I'm 8 years older than her, work outside for a living and STILL look about 10 years younger than her. I guess she has given up on her dream of going for more serious roles, since she is now a D cup and bleach-blond, Botoxed/sausaged lipped freak face. She also needs to eat a hamburger or twelve. I'm all for someone attaining peace and grace in their life, how ever they want to do it. Butt-tummy lady wasn't helping her cause any by allowing the crew to film her, ah, "spiritual leader" and his assistant. Good grief. Should have just left it at the crystals in the bra. Her tummy did look fabu after the surgery. NO TIJUANA! Another outstanding nose job by Nassif. He really is a miracle worker. 2 Link to comment

It looked like the saging was done in a prep room or ancillary room at the center, no where near the operating theater. Hopefully even Dubrow is not enough of a famewhore to allow open flame near oxygen lines. His BS about how maybe the crystals helped because of the crystals was just more of his usual how can I keep the camera on me crap. Is he trying to reach out to the crystal worshiping spiritualist crowd? Nose guys nasalness seems to be a combination of a nose issue and a bit of a vocal choise. The part due to his nose should get better over the course of several months. As for Dubrow putting large boobs back into the actress, that just showed more of his love of big foobs. What did happen to her dream of having a career based on more than her breasts? After all, she could play a secretary . . . . 4 Link to comment
Andyourlittledog2 July 6, 2015 Share July 6, 2015 What did happen to her dream of having a career based on more than her breasts? After all, she could play a secretary . . . . Yeah, that turned into 'MILF or cougar...rawr!' pretty damn quick. More like 'aging stripper grandma on meth' I'm thinking. That woman looked haggard as shit. Can you imagine being her 'agent' and seeing her flounce through his door demanding new roles as a MILF or cougar? Gawd. Woman is delusional. 3 Link to comment
Cosmic Muffin July 7, 2015 Share July 7, 2015 I'm not the most amazingly preserved 48 year old (although I've never smoked and I use sunscreen) and I would have guessed the actress to be significantly older than me. Good for her if all this works for her. Another amazing nose job. And Jacob (I think?) and his boyfriend are really sweet together. Link to comment

4leafclover July 11, 2015 Share July 11, 2015 he's a medical professional, not to mention one who makes his living off the insecurities of others. Exactly! I lost a little respect (and believe me, I only had a little left for him) when he continued to fat-shame Dr. Nassif. she is now a D cup and bleach-blond, Botoxed/sausaged lipped freak face. She also needs to eat a hamburger or twelve. I can't stop laughing at that one--you nailed it! 1 Link to comment
Mu Shu July 12, 2015 Share July 12, 2015 I was bored enough to google Heather, and found her claim to fame was being on something called the "Swedish bikini Team", which apparently was a bunch of bleach blondes with foobs who did beer ads, and some walk on roles in movies and sitcoms. Other than the Sherman Oaks thing, which wasn't anywhere near as big as Baywatch, it doesn't appear that she actually was much of a threat to poach Pam Anderson's roles. Legend in her own mind, I guess. . 1 Link to comment

ZaldamoWilder July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 The lady with the foobs. I'm sorry, that was way too big and way too something else, low? Did she request Ds? Because, why? Paul is a sweet dude. I'm not sure how he lets it roll off his back. Cameras on or not, I'd be really tempted to tell Terry, well, hell at least I don't look like one half of Wayland Flowers and Madame. NO TIJUANA! I'm glad he was able to help her too, but I hate his/this generalization with a passion because the implication is borderline racist. It's in the financial best interests of u.s. surgeons to discourage plastic surgery outside the country, as the same procedures in Mexico are about 1/3 the cost they are stateside. Reputable surgeons in Tijuana are Board Certified, but to hear American doctors tell it, only the AMA exists when, of course each country has its own version of that. It wouldn't serve their purposes to get into the rest of her story but some strip mall clinic with no legal permission to operate is not representative of an entire city/country and it's also not typical. And, p.s. given all of the legitimately qualified options, if that's where you've chosen to have surgery, you earned a butt for a stomach. I had a full mommy makeover, in Tijuana with a highly skilled double board certified surgeon that I researched for years, who re-educates himself with procedural for credit courses 4 times a year. Sorry, I didn't mean to tangent n' pinball all over the place. But the stigma about Mexico (when the same number of surgery fails per capita take place in this country) makes me uber grouchy. That might ease up if I start hearing shady mess about Canadian surgeons, because that's outta the country too right? 3 Link to comment
Dahlia November 19, 2015 Share November 19, 2015 Amen zaldamo!! You said exactly what I've said elsewhere on the Botched forum and RHOC. It's crazy the fear mongering about out of country procedures but the casa de Dubrow sure wouldn't have 70 doors if people didn't think paying ridiculous surgical fees stateside was their only option 1 Link to comment
