Part 2:

ETA:  Now Shelli sneering at the idea that she targeted Jackie last week.  Ummhmmm.  Now she's dissolved into tears to Meg.

ETA:  Now C/S plotting upstairs outside the HOH, Jackie/James/Becky are in there.  Becky's going to poop when they walk in.

ETA:  False alarm, C/S decided to back downstairs and regroup before the next attack.

Clay is not going to forgive and forget, but if Shelli goes home, he'll fade to the background and glower and skate through.

And yeah, as a person, I think Meg is pretty awesome. And yes, they're being really oddly mean to her right now. And it is all so UNnecessary. She does not control James' mind!

EDITED because unnecessary is quite a bit different than what I originally wrote. ;)

Vanessa, go to bed.  She's lying up a storm to C/S right now.

ETA:  I do not understand the purpose. Okay, Austin was brought into this.  I've missed so much tonight because so much is going on that I can't tell if it is a last minute effort by Vanessa to (i) save S/C or (ii) keep S/C from blowing up everyone else's game.  I'm also not sure whether Austin is in on whatever Vanessa's plan is or is just doing this cold.

Here's the thing that really and truly confuses the heck out of me - Shelli made a deal just for her and Clay on the wall during HoH. So clearly she realizes that if it is between her and Clay leaving and ANYONE ELSE leaving, she is fine with them leaving instead of her. But now, when clearly her only possible way of protecting her and Clay is to throw a bigger target, i.e. Vanessa (or even Austin or a twin) under the bus, she won't for some reason. "I am not nominating Steve." "Oh, okay, but then how about you nominate Steve?" "I told you, I am not nominating Steve." "Oh, okay, I get it. I get it. No problem, I understand you. Okay, so then how about you nominate Steve?"

"If you want to break up a voting bloc, why not a twin or Austin? That's three to me and Clay's two!" Nope, they can't suggest that.

"Why not Vanessa?" Nope, they can't suggest that.

James is practically BEGGING them to suggest Vanessa but they won't do it. I think he would honestly love to take Clay down and have Vanessa up, that way no matter what he gets rid of someone he wants out (as he would prefer Shelli to go over Clay).  But they just won't do it. And the longer they go without doing it, the more untrustworthy they look if/when they ever DO do it.

Just a surprisingly really poor series of game moves by Shelli.

EDITED TO ADD: In fact, it's so bad that I honestly feel sort of embarrassed for them. Their "lives" are on the line and their best plan is this dumb shit?

Agreed.  However, I think I have now figured out Vanessa's counterpunch to keep C/S quiet.  As noted above, I was begging Vanessa to go to bed but she was talking to C/S and then brought in Austin.  I just caught up, but the plan Vanessa pitched was for Austin to go to James and tell him that Clay suggested this bargain:  (i) keep C/S safe this week and take out a floater, (ii) C/S are at their mercy going forward and (iii) floater who no one cares about is out this week (as if you had to ask, Steve).  Austin did a good job selling it while being skeptical himself.  James seemed to consider it, Meg shut it down.

Again, as before, I'm not sure if this was a plan to keep S/C or to keep S/C shut up, and possibly a little penance getting Austin involved, or whether he's going to be a secret agent going forward for the remaining SS. But as things stand, the noms are staying the same. I'm not sure about any of the other relationships being put into play here. Also, is this some weird thing to make folks want Clay out over Shelli.  Resolved, James isn't going for it, but won't tell C/S until the morning (heh!).  This is a mess.  End report.

Shelli was going to spill about the 6S but then realized she'd be killing the game of whoever was left behind of Clelli. I think Vanessa knows she has to appear to be trying her best to save Clelli because it's a precarious line for her, she knows they are not truly loyal to her anymore. Vanessa has suggested alternatives to them to get James to use the veto but it involves throwing Becky or John UTB and they refuse to do it. I think Vanessa knows she has to get Clay out. Shelli would be infinitely better for her game because at least Shelli has milliseconds of self awareness after she's been away from Clay's orbit.

ETA: Finally James figured out that 6S is a real thing and Shelli and Clay won't spill. I think if they break and name Vanessa that is their only save.

Meg to James: Shelli was saying she wants to spill everything and tell me every single thing that happened. I told her no. I told her if she doesn't want to play the game dirty then she shouldn't tell me.

Meg: Shelli and Clay were just sitting there looking at me like I'm some sort of idiot. NT

Indeed.

James wants Shay to spill - now or never. Shelli just told Clay a few minutes ago that she should have trusted her instincts about Austin - she hasn't felt right about him for weeks. I think she's on the edge of throwing Austin utb. Do it! Do it!

Oh, god, Meg is waking up C/S again, fortunately I have the day off tomorrow because this is never going to end.  Report later.

Report 1:  Meg's not doing well here, she's just saying she doesn't know what is going on, they need to talk to James. Now C/S doing terribly here, talking about they have been loyal to all of these people, but they've been played, so they are warning M/J, but they still aren't naming names. Christ on a cracker, Clay is still stuck that he/Shelli need to see trust from James to get past the fact that he nominated them before they will say anything specific.

Report 2: C/S between themselves talking about throwing Austin under the bus, James just walked in....more later.

Why won't they throw Becky UTB! She's not in your alliance. Stop trying to ride middle, that is done for them. If Clelli survive 6S is still intact and in the majority and will likely win HOH next week. It's very clear to me that these two can't strategize properly.

Holy shit, Shelli is sidetracking this conversation before it starts.  James and Meg have said someone said Shelli was afraid of Jackie.  Shelli won't do anything until she finds out who said that foolish thing.

Eta:  James says pretty much whole house wants Shelli out, JMac just said he would vote with house, didn't ask Steve, rest want noms the same.  Did I sleep a week, is Shelli HOH?..more to follow....

ETA:  Clay following up to want specific answers as to who wants who to go home.  Are you kidding me???  Who is on trial here.

ETA:  C thinks other folks are disgraceful for not telling truth, he/Shelli stalling.  Clay upset that friendship with J/M is blown up because of others, still saying nothing.  C explaining they are victims of awful people.

ETA:  C mentions that these people could turn on J like they did on the innocent C/S.  Shelli is "afraid" she might be attacked if she says anything, James says at least you'll be here.

ETA:  Shelli confesses Dark Moon (without names), states that this is not Vanessa's fault, she was in hard position (sigh), it's all on Austin, V was on board with plan to backdoor A, he "came clean", admitted his lies, A came to C/S/Jason/Meg, Jason/Meg said they wouldn't back Austin, but he lied to C/S. But CS got on board with Austin because all else were.  Now this week, Austin evil, twins innocent, Austin hanging with James and is happy with noms.

...okay, stopping recap, because Shelli is a terrible liar, I think James knows that as well.

I find it amazing that Clay and Shelli just will not throw their alliance under the bus. I can't understand their logic here.

IMO Shelli cut Clay loose the second they got nominated together, and even more so when Vanessa told her to get it together and she needs to be able to play this game on her own, and for herself, Vanessa told her what she wanted to hear. Given that Shelli wants to stay solo, Clay does not, that means they have very different objectives while campaigning: Shelli does not want to abandon Sixth Sense (though her going apeshit on Julia makes that problematic - I honestly think that was just her losing her mind), she wants to stay in the house still 6 strong against the ADC, and what she thinks is two strong with Vanessa. I think she's correct to believe the ADC will NEVER work with her on her own, and if she does she'll be bottom bitch. Again Clay doesn't really care if he stays especially not w/o Shelli, so even though it's obvious to them both blowing up Sixth Sense and revving up the bus for Vanessa is the only real chance they have to *both* stay there is no way Shelli is doing it, and thus there is no way Clay is.

So they're offering up Austin which I'm fine with, but there is no way James should buy this, do NOT swerve James Shelli, Clay, or Vanessa nothing less dude.

Okay, Shelli picking up steam here since it started and is telling truths in throwing Austin under the bus:  (i) mentions Judas and his sketchy vote to save Audrey;  (ii) mentions how Austin tried to portray both James/Jackie as pawns when Liz nominated them when that was not the case; (iii) mentions how angry Austin was when [it looked like] James was throwing the competition when Liz was on the block .

ETA:  Shelli talks about how scary Austin is and that is why she is reluctant to talk about him and why they haven't before now. Says Austin only wants to get Liz to jury to fuck her, this all upsets Shelli, even though she got fooled by him. Talks about how Liz has loyalty to Austin; Julia hates him, if Austin goes, the twins would be happy.  Says Austin told Jackie he messes with things in the game just to mess with the show.

C/S continues to lie that they weren't in an alliance with him, just [innocently] stuck working with him.

James:  when did you Clay lose trust with me.  Clay:  never, we just got pulled apart, but my loyalty was still there, even if I didn't share information with you.

Even though Vanessa is a huge threat and Austin is part of a strong alliance, using the veto and leaving Clay and Shelli intact would probably be the absolute worst move in this season so far.

James better have a steely resolve. I'm exhausted just reading the updates, I have no desire to watch this.

I love the chaos, but yeah James et al have proven they will do the dumb thing first, so I reserve truly rooting for him in any capacity when he keeps those noms the same, and Clay (or Shelli) is out the door. OTOH I don't think he's buying this Austin is the Betrayer line, but he's clearly DYING to use the Veto and be besties with these two fuck faces again. Hopefully he's just telling them what they want to hear, like he said to Meg earlier.

Haaaa Shelli saying they absolutely need to work with Vanessa, I know she's waffled some this week, but she damn well knows Vanessa is great ally.

ETA: Now Shelli is freaked because James confirmed Austin has been vouching for them all along. Heh. But keep protecting Jecky guys, sure.

Okay, I've just skipped about twenty minutes, because I just can't listen to all of this.  James just went to wake some folks up, C/S are talking about who to wake up.  I'm trying to figure out who/how/why James seems likely to flip.  Favorite conspiracy? Are TPTB afraid to have Austin in the jury house?  Is this all a smokescreen and nothing changes.

Meg/Jackie back in HOH, I'll try to listen, but holy crow, not again.

Things are happening!:

Per Jokers:

08/03/15 05:10 AM

Shelli: Ok, so, obviously last week we created Dark Moon and what was the incentive? James: TO get Austin out. Shelli: So...when Austin found this out... first of all, I have to say this, when Vanessa was HOH last week she was put in a hard place last week. Vanessa's name isn't the one I'm putting out, she's actually an awesome person to work with...so I don't want this to fall back on her because she was HOH

Shelli retelling the campaigning and promises Austin made last week.

Shelli: He's the one who got this spinning that someone had to be backdoored... he has issues with Jason... he's the reason that name [Jason's] got out there...this week, Austin and the twins, that's 3 votes, he's coming upstairs to you, showing no loyalty for last week. He's up here saying keep the noms the same and then coming downstairs to us and telling us what he talked about with you.

Shelli: Here's some things about Austin that are interesting, these are some good reasons, Austin has an alter ego called Judas.  Sometimes in the game Austin does things and sometimes Judas does things, so if Austin makes a promise to you, Judas might break it. Judas was the vote for Audrey... he did that to spin up a bunch of chaos and confusion on the house, to make people think Steve or Clay were America's player

Shelli: When Liz was HOH, you and Jackie were put up at the block. Austin at the last minute told Liz to put you [James] up.  Says that Austin was mad when James was throwing the comp with Liz (when Liz was on the block?).

Shell: So Austin has this alter ago. Judas will make promises Austin doesn't have to keep.

James: [b[Are you on narcotics medicine?[/b]

Shelli bringing up Austin's girlfriend at home and that he isn't trustworthy because of what he's doing with Liz.  Says that Austin told Jackie that he does things in the game for the "theatricalness".

James: That's good information because you know...um...that's a lot.. my thing is like, with you, Clay- when did you start having doubts about me and start pulling away from me?

James: You're playing a game with people who have no morals, so your game strategy {of being honest, loyal, etc.] isn't gonna work.  Telling Shelli not to feel bad about selling out Austin.

James: I need to...ummm... well, uh, sh*t...

Now James wants to run this by Meg and Jackie, has gone downstairs and is waking them up to talk to them.

I am hoping that James/Jackie/Meg when all together can form ONE functioning game brain, but it's not looking good only Jackie seems skeptical, and that's because she was never really up Clelli's ass to begin with unlike James/Meg. James is totally going to up up Austin and Clelli will stay, and if there is any justice in the world they will take out James next week.

  • Love 3

Now that James, Jackie, and Meg are all in the HoH with Shelli and Clay, Shelli is retelling them everything she just told to James.  Girl seems to be getting quite comfortable selling out Austin.  But I hate Austin, so I don't particularly mind.

I've got the feeling I will be fine with whoever goes home this week, but I do like the idea of Austin being shown the door.  It would eat him alive to know that he broke up his relationship with his girlfriend, and now won't get to spend quality time with Liz in Jury House.  When he finds out that Liz claims to not like him romantically (sometimes I'm not so sure about that anymore), he'll really be hurting.

I can live with that.

Haha Jackie is totally calling out the bullshit notion Austin had more power to target than Vanessa/Shelli/Clay, but Shelli covers well with Steve isn't as big a threat as Jason was, which ADC has also argued. Jackie is like why not Steve? Haha because James has said he's not wasting it on Steve!

I can't with these people trusting Clelli over Vanessa, still convinced that Clelli have NO OTHER allies. I totally agree that Vanessa is a good bootee this week for ADC, but the bottom line is these idiots are still outnumbered and still don't GET that they are out numbered and that whether it's Shelli or Vanessa they are mostly likely going to be targets next week. JESUS. They also continue to believe that they control the votes in the house. Uh no.

Oh thank the Lordt after all that, they settled on sticking with the noms. Yeah you do that and stay with that for the entire what 8 hours until the ceremony.

Yeah Jackie's exact words: We need to get one of the THREE of them out, either Vanessa or Shelli. Clay isn't one of the fucking three she would ever DARE vote out. RME.

It finally clicked.

I don't really think it has, if it had they'd know they don't have the votes, and they are oblivious to Jecky being up Slay's ass.

I think so, I think James is pretty certain *at this exact moment* that he's not using Veto. They rightfully keep coming back to the showmance of it, although he briefly considered popping up Austin to get out Clay....UGH so close, yet so far away!

Vanessa is up and about though so who the fuck knows how much drama is yet to play out.

You know I'm glad Jackie has her eye on the prize, but again the ADCs' anger basically boils down to: you mean to tell me that while I sat on my ass and did NOTHING to ensure myself or my alliances safety, other people decided to PLAY THE FUCKING GAME?! How rude, and mean and not friends! You are pathetic.
