blixie September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 (edited) She also just told her, "You have to actually win something if you want to win this game, Julia". I think it was a pep talk, but it was just hilariously condescending. This, it's SO funny to me, especially because Julia is like BITCH I'm not the one walking out the door, and I think she's secretly happy to be free of Liz. The more I hear Meg talk the more I hate her ass for taking the spot of someone who really wanted to be there and knew what the point of the show was. RedheadZombie September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 Oh and Vanessa was using her dead husband as strategy again. So gross. I'm so annoyed by her victim act. People always back down from confronting her because she cries and whines and cries some more. And makes sure to get in about 100 "I'm a good person" quotes. I know her husband was significantly older. He's dead now? Didn't she divorce him? Link to comment

Well, we will just have to agree to disagree on that one. We agree on so much more, though, this isn't a deal breaker. It sounds like they remained close friends, and it was a major loss for her. They just called Liz to the DR. I love it!! ETA: apparently Austin screamed that he was Judas at the end of the veto, and he's hoping it airs. He told Steve that it was okay if Steve wants to call him Judas. I cannot even with this. Also, I think John knows that Julia hates him, and I think he also knows that he's second-best goat behind Julia. Julia gone makes it more likely Vanessa takes him to F2, and he's already pretty sure Steve takes him. He's been working on Austin, so that could be a possibility if both Julia and Liz leave. Basically, leaving Julia in the game reduces his chances of someone picking him as their F2, and Austin and Liz are going to stay targets for Steve/ Vanessa, while at least Steve and probably Vanessa will be bigger targets for Austin/ Liz. Booting Julia isn't the worst move for him. Edited September 5, 2015 by Turtle 12 Link to comment

blixie September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 (edited) I'm still not getting how keeping Liz is good for John's game, what good is playing for F2 going to do, IF, you never make it to final 2 because you kept the comp beast AND her boyfriend over the newly isolated comp goat? It's stupid to have any strong duos in the game going into F5, dumb as shit in fact, and with Liz gone there a lots of allied duos, but none as tight and bonded as Liztin. And it's not like he can't go after Julia the very next week! Edited September 5, 2015 by blixie 5 Link to comment

Ceeg September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 Voting out Julia over Liz would be a game killer. Liz/Austin as a duo can win comps and are a strong pair. Julia isn't a strategic thinker and she isn't a comp threat. Link to comment

Julia isn't a strategic thinker Eh I think she is, I think she has really good observations and instincts, but hasn't felt empowered to do what she needs for her game, because of g-d Liz and her showmance. Austin trying to make piece with Julia is hilarious, her bitch face makes my life, if looks could kill she would burn him with fire. Brian Cronin September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 What about Vanessa? Who would she vote for? Julia and Liz? She'd vote out Liz if she had her druthers. if she thinks John is voting out Julia, though, I guess she'd vote out Julia, too. The only reason John would vote out Julia now is that he thinks: A. Vanessa wants Julia here, so he might as well fuck over Vanessa as he is going to have to win comps to stick around no matter what B. He can tell Austin and Liz that Vanessa is against them and he will help them save Liz, so next week, make Vanessa the target and not him. He doesn't have a ton of plays left outside of winning HoH or Veto every week, so I think very few things for him are bad moves. 1 Link to comment

It's precisely because he has to win HoH/Veto that he should be wanting to eliminate the fiercest comp threats that he's NOT allied to, aka in order Liz, Austin, Julia. Also I actually think he's in really good position the only one who would put him up FOR SURE is Julia, at any time he could pull together Steve/Austin to vote out Van. peachmangosteen September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 Damn, of course Austin won veto. I really wanted him to go this week. Did anyone see Meg and James' exit interviews with Jeff? They think Austin's playing the best game, and despite my feeling that Liz doesnt really like him like that, I don't see Liz voting against him unless he's in the final 2 with Julia; that's three votes right there! Damn, the big buffoon could actually win this thing.. ugh! Honestly the most interesting F2 would probably be Vanessa vs. Austin. That's really the only combo where it's not obvious who would win. Or maybe John vs. Vanessa or Austin if John is able to suddenly start winning comps. Eh I think she is, I think she has really good observations and instincts, but hasn't felt empowered to do what she needs for her game, because of g-d Liz and her showmance. I think Julia's main problem is the same as Steve and John's, she's a very passive player. She lets Liz/Austin and/or Vanessa control all her moves/thoughts. And on top of that, like John, she is a pretty terrible competitor. And she certainly has had some times when she had good instincts, but she has had some really stupid ideas as well. Link to comment
Lady Calypso September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 I think getting out Liz is his only move, honestly. Getting out Julia doesn't ensure his safety. If Liz wins HOH, she puts up Steve and Johnny Mac for sure. If Austin wins, he does the same. And even if he isn't put up initially, there are too many chances for him to go up as a pawn. So saving Liz is worse for his game; get out the power duo now and there's more of a chance Julia will be put up next week. Link to comment

I love him so much. Austin's dream is probably to be locked into a Pandora's Box with him for an hour. I was wondering if he was going to show up sometime soon. It's been awhile. Oh fuck now Vanessa is blaming everything on PMS. I can't. Also, she was swearing on her mother earlier. Again, I ask, DOES SHE NOT VALUE HER MOTHER'S LIFE?! Seriously. She should see a doctor, because I've learned from the feeds that she's been on her period almost every single week. It's always her excuse. PMS, my period, I feel sick... Something ain't right there. Oh, now she hurt herself during the puzzle HoH comp as well. Okay then. Can she not come up with a new excuse? ETA: LOL at the twins talking about how hot Jessie was. Poor Austin. I wonder if Liz is ready to jump ship. Edited September 5, 2015 by Callaphera 6 Link to comment
blixie September 5, 2015 Share September 5, 2015 (edited) I don't think the stupid ideas were Julia's, she would constantly bring up a good point only to have Liz veto it, and she would follow that up by reflecting back an idea building off Liz's paranoias and fears about "their" game. Yeah her passivity makes it hart to tell what she'd actually do on her own, maybe she'll just glom on to Van and not assert herself, but ideally and I say this as someone who would prefer to see two women stick together to the end, her best move is to go work with JMac her biggest enemy, those are the game turning moves, getting over your personal ish to get further in the game, even if that means allying with an "enemy". Hmm interesting she wants to target Steve, that's not good for her IMO, but I like it because it will calm Johnny Mac down and make him ore likely to vote out Liz, and getting rid of Liz from this game is my everything right now. call me ishmael September 6, 2015 Share September 6, 2015 He's got to vote out Liz if he has any sense. Steve can't play for veto this week and if he leaves Liz in with Austin he leaves the only tight twosome that he KNOWS exists. If she'd own it in the DR it'd be fine by me. She really is the second coming of Derrick. Thank you! This is a problem I've been seeing (elsewhere) on the internet: People crying sexism and claiming that aggressive gameplay among male contestants is applauded while female contestants are shamed for it. No, it's just a sad coincidence that many female houseguests (BB3 Danielle Reyes, Maggie, Vanessa) either refuse to own up to their tactics or become overly apologetic when discussing them. I think the viewers would absolutely welcome another woman who played the game with an unabashed sense of badassery. Hell, they clearly had no problem with houseguests like Janelle, Nakomis, or (to a lesser extent) Daniele. 11 Link to comment
