I don't know where Brian Williams lives, but I don't pay $40 for 12 paper towels rolls.

This!  Not even at CVS, the most expensive store in the world (and that's not at all an exaggeration!).  That actually made me angry when he said that...like he shops for paper towels himself.  And it just went downhill from there.

I was so angry I fast forwarded through the rest of his interview. He seems to think the Dems are the ones who were running on "cultural issues" when actually it was the Repubs who were airing ads on that subject, while Harris talked about the economy.

I like Bridget Everett. I wish more women would talk about their hot flashes.

And who supports unions? And who doesn't?

... & we all know Brian isn't prone to hyperbole, right???

(Sorry for the double quote!!  Gawd, my buffering is crazy!!)

Back In My Day was on fire tonight!

I found this Back In My Day's mock cringe-y-ness over the top.🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm guessing Seth's remark about how 'this is what happens when you don't show up to rehearsal' having been true.🤷🏻‍♀️
I just rewatched it because there was a coincidental mention of tomorrow's Wordle word, and that's all I'll say.
Setting my computer clock back to real time to go put on extended-family visiting clothes.

I like that he didn't directly address the orange one's comments about him this week, just the one message on the show about how one can change the channel if they don't want to watch, then making the marble mouth joke in Corrections.

I really hope that the networks stand by their late night hosts going forward.

They don’t seem to have musical performances anymore. Yeah, the band is gone, but can’t musicians bring their own band?

There's setup time to consider. You have to wire them, change lighting setup, sound check, rehearsal time. Since the budget's been cut back, there probably isn't room for all of that.

Especially since we already know that Late Night has a massively long video of Trump pronouncing words.

I suppose i should start a new topic for this since it doesn't really address some of the issues above about Meyers. Yep, Fred's kinda odd ball anyhow, but he's okay, works hard allatime at everything, so give him that. Do i like what he does, not so much, but he's okay. What i think is fred does not like Seth, and if so, for that i give Fred credit for his ability to pick people.

Meyers w/his unkempt appearance and weird-ass hug greeting to every single guest. I swear he'd hug the Pope that way if he ever came on the show. Seth w/his arm pointing to the sky as he attacks every single guest, except those astute enough to hold out their hand because they don't want his dumb ass hug. LOL I Iike Seth okay. He sure cannot hold a candle to Kimmel tho, and isn't that much better than Colbert (tho his monologue's probly comparable). Thing Seth does in his monologue, "A Closer Look," is his "impressions" of Trump, or whomever, which I think he tries to make us think that he's still trying to develop but really he thinks he's a great impressionist, when in reality he's not). He uses the same monotone voice for every single impression. And I'm just sick of his tired-ass Trump impressions, same ol' shit every night, and he extends them way beyond what's needed or tolerable, rambling on, burning the time up to fill his requisite minutes of air time. Not really too good there.

Oh i could go on. Still i do appreciate what he's saying and the things he points out so for that, well, I'm watching him most nights, aren't i? Makes me wonder where are the right wing talk show hosts? Only on Fox and the other right wing media outlets. And talk about suck, whew, they are really bad. No talent on that side of the aisle, u gotta admit.
