fairffaxx November 2 Share November 2 The whole thing is so subtle, which I never expect in advertising. Only cat fanciers truly appreciate it -- "Do you know this person?" 🐱 2 3 Link to comment
Bastet November 3 Share November 3 I know this commercial is a couple of years old, but it's airing frequently again, and I sing along every time (I will always have a soft spot for Gloria Gaynor's original, but I really like this cover): 2 2 Link to comment
proserpina65 November 6 Share November 6 KFC has started running a commercial for their chicken tenders which I find hysterical: I love the details, particularly the KFC buckets being drums and the drumsticks being, well, drumsticks. I've seen three versions of various lengths; this is the longest. 8 Link to comment
InDueTime November 11 Share November 11 I don't see this Hyundai ad much, but I enjoy it whenever I do. https://youtu.be/JaOFB89bmjU?si=EJm8rLsK63l3XCU3 1 Link to comment
andromeda331 November 14 Share November 14 From the same Dr. Rick commercial the woman trying to take the drinks from people before they finished cracks me up every time. My grandmother was just like that. She was always throwing out drinks if she saw them alone or tried to if you were almost done. You learned quickly not to leave your drink alone no matter what even if you had to go the bathroom because she would throw it out. Every time. I don't know why. 2 1 Link to comment
mbluecpa November 15 Share November 15 The commercial with a dad giving his adult son advice about starting a lawnmower (pull fast, not hard) and birds being as afraid of the son as vice versa makes me chuckle every time. The punch line is when the son asks a question about his finances and dad says “you know I hate giving advice.” 100% predicable, but their facial expressions and dad’s intentional deadpan delivery are really funny. That said, I guess it’s not an effective commercial (for me at least) since I had to look up that it’s a MassMutual ad. 2 Link to comment
andromeda331 November 15 Share November 15 The new King Soopers commercial with the kid looking in the window and sees the neighbor all alone. The kid sneaks around taking cookies and leaves a plate of cookies at the neighbors door who opens the door and looks surprised but happy. The kid goes home to parents who realize what he did and take dinner over to the neighbor who invites them in and they have dinner together. It makes me cry every time it's so sweet. 3 Link to comment

I just saw that one a few days ago and cracked up because of the actors. I love the son's face when the dad tells him about the birds. 4 2 Link to comment
peacheslatour November 15 Share November 15 (edited) It may not be my favorite commercial but there is a new Instacart ad I've seen in the last few days. It seems they have replaced the terrible "up in here" vomit with a lovely version of Life After Love about some friends getting food for their newly moved in friend who has nothing in his fridge. It's a breath of fresh air to me. Edited November 15 by peacheslatour 3 Link to comment

Yeah, I saw this yesterday for Kroger. So sweet. 5 Link to comment
freeser November 16 Share November 16 I like the Wayfair Christmas commercial where Kelly Clarkson gives the leg lamp to a grown up Ralphie from A Christmas Story. He says it is a 'Holiday Classic' and she says 'So are you' (or maybe 'Just like you'). 12 1 Link to comment
