Just a diamond and Matt took it from her off screen besides maybe running the Irish crew, I think  just a mule.

Oh yeah, I know he swapped the diamond for the candy. I just couldn't figure out if she was "the inside man" or just worked for the same boss. I know Irish Baddy gave her the diamond but, I missed what he said to her.

Did not predict that we'd basically get a stand-alone, almost filler episode for this season.

Along with pairing Matt off with none other than Yusuf Khan!  Glad to see that Kamala and her gang won't be forgotten about since The Marvels ended up bombing at the box office (and I will continue to go to my grave thinking it was actually a pretty enjoyable film.  Certainly not MCU's worst.)  They made for a fun pair.  Surprised that Mohan Kapur is still playing the role, because I could have sworn he had some kind of accusations leveled at him.  Maybe there wasn't enough evidence to make Disney feel a recast was needed?

Wouldn't mind seeing Detective Kim again.  The actress made the most of her screen time.

Bet Charlie Cox had fun getting to use a Irish accent for a brief second!

Matt beats up a guy wearing a red ski mask at least, so maybe he's slowly getting back into Daredevil form?!

They better deliver on the "Matt has dinner with the Khan Family" idea.  Matt and Kamala interacting would actually be kind of awesome, I think.

When Devlin passed the diamond to her, he said "Give this to Luca".  Luca's the boss, the one who's supposed to get "1.8" so they all work for him.

After having so many intense episodes, which have almost all ended on a massive downer, I am thrilled to get something lighter. Nobody dies, the villains are pretty much garden variety crooks, fun Irish music soundtrack, Matt gets some cool fights, Charlie gets to do his natural accent, and more importantly, Yusuf Khan, one of the MCU's best dad, is here! He even has a cute little Miss. Marvel funko pop! I don't care what anyone says, I am team "filler" I am sick of shows that are rushing from plot point to plot point without taking a second to breath.

I wonder what Kamala is up to in California? Just visiting friends or is it something more? Mr. Khan and Matt were a fun combination, I hope that Matt takes up his invite to have dinner with his family. Matt could use some time with a nice normal family. Normal as a family with a teenage superhero and Djinn DNA can be.

It seems like robbing a bank in broad daylight on St. Patrick's Day and without much of a plan in case they get stopped before they can run doesn't seem like the brightest idea.

I loved when Matt just casually knocked out a robber with his cane without anyone even noticing, man is a really good lawyer.

I noticed that Baba Khan mentioned Los Angeles so outside of what was becoming the MCU norm of San Fransico being their west coast capital. Right now, I would say a comics Easter Egg of merging the Young Avengers and West Coast Avengers. Seeing Ms. Marvel in Louisiana in her last appearance she seems to travel a lot leaving Jersey City with limited superhero protection.

Kind of forgotten though, since didn't the end of The Marvels show the Khan family moving to Louisiana and into Maria Rambeau's house?

One thing I always appreciated about the Netflix Daredevil show was how brutal the fights looked especially in season one. And I appreciate that this show is keeping that up, since I hate it when regular humans fight and take what should be a beating with no damage. And Matt breaking that guy's leg looked brutal.

They just went down to help move new friend/idol Carol Danvers into the home, when she was on Earth. To save money Kamala's sister-in-law did not appear in the movie. We are past the point of needing to explain interracial couples are we not.

Ironically except the first fight with Bullseye that we know was punched in during the un reboot and the MCU turning it into a continuation series.

I just watched that scene again and it seems like it's the Khan's moving in or at least also moving in. There are a ton of moving boxes and why would someone who has lived in space have moving boxes. Kamala makes a comment about how much she loves it there. And Kamala's mom even makes a comment to the brother about how it would be a great place to raise a family. Plus there Jersey city house got seriously messed up at the start of the movie. I guess if it wasn't them it was just one more dumb thing about that movie.

Stand-alone episode, yes. Absolutely. Thank goodness.

Filler episode, no.

A Filler Episode is like the old clip shows that TV series used to do.

Actually, a filler episode is one that basically stands alone and not much happens. Which is what this episode was.

This episode was maddening. I though the heist would last the first 10 minutes. Instead, we see a verrrrrry slow application of DD's abilities, sans suit. Disney is indeed stretching this out, ugh.

Actually... that's not a Filler episode.

You're confusing a Filler episode with a Stand-Alone episode. Something a lot of folks - especially younger folks - seem to be doing these days.

I noticed this a lot when folks discussed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and were calling the stand-alone episodes "filler episodes" because the 10-episode Season was not a 10-hour-long movie.

A stand-alone episode is one that features a story that is not a part of a specific larger, on-going narrative. This used to be the majority of all TV episodes. Think Love Boat or Fantasy Island.

A filler episode is what networks used to put on TV when they didn't have an actual new episode. Like when a sitcom would have characters discuss "memories" and then they would show flashback clips from previous episodes.

Stargate had these as well. At least one, anyway.

The newer conception of a “filler” episode comes from anime - when an anime adapting a manga caught up to the source material, they would create filler episodes, storylines unconnected to the rest of the series and never mentioned again afterwards, to give the manga time to get ahead.

So this is definitely not filler, because it is connected to the overall series (the aforementioned Luca connection, as well as Matt’s personal arc moving closer to becoming Daredevil again).
