I live in the general boonies, but a 30-minute drive begets Target, Walmart, BJ's , Sam's Club, JC Penny, other stores and 4 major grocery stores. Heck, I can e-bike to a grocery store or Walmart in good weather. I'm sure Mark has access to real shopping.

Exactly. This whole "Oh noes, Mark lives in the COUNTRY! Sophisticated Parisienne Mina will be comically  inept as she tries to navigate the simple ways of the Granite State!" is insulting.

Just wait until the annual Lottery.

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable with all the series coming out in which there is nothing interesting about the people except that they're fat/short/missing body parts/have Tourette's?  It feels like the 21st century freak show tent at the circus.

I completely agree. They are the modern version of a freak show.

Also multiple baby families. I dont wanna see them either.

You are not. Its been TLC's MO for quite a while now, and it makes me queasy.

So tonight I am wearing sweatpants, a flannel shirt, my hooded heavy fleece bathrobe, shearling slippers and a hat, under my electric blanket with a space heater blowing hot air directly at me and I am still cold. Fucking winter.

We finally had a few warm days this week! On Friday, I was like a cat, basking in the sun.

Why are the themes from Green Acres and Petticoat Junction suddenly on my mind? 🤔

Not yet, but someone's going to think of it now that I've spoken it into the Sharp universe.

I gave up on Dancing with the Stars years ago because of their sickening addiction to disabled contestants. Missing legs, missing arms, missing legs and arms, deaf....I found it so cynical and calculated. Ick.

I haven't watched in scads of years, but I didn't even know it was still going.

Neither have I. I used to love it, it was wholesome and entertaining. Then they got rid of Tom Bergeron, and got so formula with the contestants. One Disney kid, one Olympian, someone from the Bachelor, one really, really old celeb who's touted as an "icon", a reality star or two, a former child star....
