I’m still watching Foyle’s War on Acorn. I keep wondering why all the perps cop to the murder instead going to court and pleading not guilty.

I read a book, non-fiction, about the murder of a young American woman in Japan. The police had a lot of trouble with the case because the perp wouldn't confess. In the overwhelming number of cases in Japan, the suspect confesses once arrested.

Older people were never invisible to me when I was a young! And I was always interested in history. The 1920s have fascinated me since I was really young. (I probably lived then.)

Same, my house was built then, I love the clothes and art from that time, I’m always drawn to things from that era at antique malls and flea markets.

My nieces mind was blown when I told her I travelled with y family  without a cell phone and used a printed map. Yes, we did get lost but sometimes getting lost is part of the fun.

I made brownies, and popcorn on the stovetop with some 9-11 year olds. We  made popcorn balls and wrapped them in waxed paper for Christmas. They were in shock.

They told their parents I made food "out of this stuff called flour", and made popcorn without a microwave.

A check? How quaint! I haven't written a check in at least a decade.

And @Suzywriter, he meant "shipping" as in "I totally ship Tony and Maria" not shipping a package!

I still write rent checks…it will be a cold day in hell before I give them access to my financial information for auto debit

I also read the have a 97% conviction rate as the prosecution needs a lot more evidence as the burden of proof is higher in Japan

Ha! I've heard that too...but getting my hoop skirts is much more important to me.

What does she care how many showers Joan takes? You'd think she'd be glad she attends to her personal hygiene.

It runs up the wattah bill.

God, I just glanced up, what the fuck is this?? Is this what the kids call "Industrial"?

Stevie is insufferable. WHY is it so important to her that Mahdi violate the tenets of his religion and eat pork? I detest her.
