Why the hell did Hollywood (can't remember his name!) get involved with a transitioning trans-woman if he, hello, likes guys?  Oh I see, I think  he really wants Douglas.

To be fair to what’s his name I don’t think Aliya was transitioning when they met. Hollywood guy just thought he met another gay man.

Stevi has a spiteful streak.

Given time and effort, I could come to dislike her most cordially. Why is she borrowing trouble? No one knows what the future holds. Why is she worrying about what will happen IF she and Mahdi break up? Why not just be, you know, happy he's here and looking forward to their happiness together?

That moustache now looks like a covered bridge.

"In Iran,we do not have covered bridges. Or any bridges, since the Ayatollah deemed them sinful. I am amazed at your American bridges, covered and uncovered" Mahdi, probably.

Shawn was the one who suggested Douglas dress like a woman for a Pride Day float and Douglas realized that he liked it.

Aliyah is really pretty, like Jaye Davidson in The Crying Game (one of my all-time favorite movies)

ETA: The white poodily-things are now on the list!

I am still thinking about a conversation I had with an Uber driver recently, he asked where I was from and I told him I was born here. He told me I was so lucky and him and his family are refugees from Syria. One day he just went to work, came back and the house was gone…literally gone. Luckily his wife was at work and no one was home. I couldn’t imagine.
