snarts January 13 Share January 13 (edited) Quote Gary and Chase continue to butt heads, but the deck team bands together to pull off a spectacular drag show for the guests; a night out causes a major rift. aqusdealer January 14 Share January 14 The whole time I'm watching Glenn bitch at Gary and all I could think of was WWCLD? Do you catch my drift? 😇 1 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554225
Jst2Wld January 14 Share January 14 I was thinking similar thoughts. No matter how much Glenn tries to be "a boss/authority figure", he still comes across as intimidating as a bunny rabbit. 1 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554240
PaperTree January 14 Share January 14 Well the guests improved somewhat. Damn, Gary is dumb, Daisy is mediocre at best and the stews are just horrible, whining, spoiled brats. IDK, I think I would rather stay on the boat and work and avoid these guests. "I didn't get my hour"; honey, there's no time clock here. Grow up! Keith should have followed the rules. I didn't expect Daisy or Gary to. WWCLD? Hard to say given how late in the season it is plus all the past difficulties getting even a single replacement, tough to replace all 3 of them at once. Chase actually wasn't drinking. Withhold the tip? Confine them to the boat? For show? Glenn is a nice enough guy and tries but just doesn't have that "gravitas". Gary should shut up, agree with Glenn, admit you screwed up and apologize. That should do it. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554288
aghst January 14 Share January 14 Was it just a couple of episodes when Gary said he’s turning over a new leaf? Well he had to make up for not partaking that one time. Thing is Gary might be a fun drinking buddy to some people since one of the guests was chiding another for being boring, because they weren’t drinking all the time. That what they mean by social drinkers? But are straight guys doing drag so enjoyable to these guests that they want to drink with some of the crew? Maybe it was an artificial situation because it led to the conflict or drama with Glen and Gary. Why even allow 2 drinks? Are they on duty or not? That must have been why the stews wanted to go, to go drinking. Daisy even said something about the deck crew working hard so the whole cast must have considered it some privilege. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554298
snarts January 14 Author Share January 14 I so wish Daisy had sent both stews to the club with the guests & then made them get up & work again four hours later. They're both such whiney little bitches. Gary's a mess. Too late to reel in him now, Captain Glenn. 8 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554325
Baltimore Betty January 14 Share January 14 6 hours ago, aghst said: Maybe it was an artificial situation because it led to the conflict or drama Maybe? Once again, I think we are thinking and probably screaming at our TV's that if these people were truly rich and on a chartered yacht they would not be asking the crew to come along for an evening of bar hopping. I could see one crew member going along and waiting for them to escort them back to the yacht. Once again, we have the crew in a cringeworthy situation dressing in cartoonish like drag for the supposed entertainment of the guests. Once again, we have Gary drunk...how could he even begin to argue with Glenn about him drinking too much or at all? Wasn't there a vibe malcontent among the guests, they didn't like the food, they didn't like the boat, they didn't like basically a lot of things they signed on for. Think about the smiles on Diana and Danni's faces when they get extra tip money, maybe then they will like Daisy, lol. My biggest question was who bought the drinks. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554358
iMonrey January 14 Share January 14 I don't know if it was Detox, but the drag queen with the blonde hair is a dead ringer for Jenny McCarthy. The stews are just unbelievable. Whining about getting eight hours of sleep versus nine. Eight hours. Do they not know how rare it is for any crew member to get eight hours? Gary is hopeless. I'll honestly be surprised if we get another season of this show. I just don't see Gary or Daisy coming back again, and with Colin gone the anchors of the show will all have left. 8 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554490

That was exactly what was going through my mind. It distracted me so much. Then to see the guy sans make up, wig and dress was a head scratcher. He seemed so much bigger (and I guess from the reaction of the other guests) and badder when in drag. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554663

Gary had to still have been drunk, during that meeting, the way he was arguing with Glenn. 1 hour ago, Mindthinkr said: That was exactly what was going through my mind. It distracted me so much. The blonde was Lola and the bitch of the bunch. Kept the rest waiting, complained about the food. Detox was the queen who looks like Angelica Huston. She has been on RuPaul's drag race 2 seasons, one being All Stars. Lola is not as big of a star. Detox was kind and seemed to enjoy herself. 3 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554719
SemiCharmedLife January 15 Share January 15 I just assumed the crew who drank more than the 2 drink limit Glenn stated were fine with forfeiting their tip. They should take Glenn at his word and have made a choice that the night of drinking was worth their tip money. I'm glad Chase made the choice he did. His actions make Gary's argument of the guests "forcing him to drink" null and void. Now, Gary thinks he should get his cake and eat it, too. Not okay. He needs to go. Definitely no tip. 5 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8554941
meep.meep January 15 Share January 15 If Glenn was so worried about them drinking, he should have gone himself. And taken Dianna because she's the least likely to be swayed by the guests into drinking - she just retreats. And he set the punishment before they left - two drinks only or no tip. Now he just needs to enforce it. You'd think Dianna and Danni would be cheering about getting 8 hours of sleep instead of bitching about someone else getting an extra hour. I've lived a lot of my life not getting 8 hours a night, buck up! 5 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8555136

65mickey Thursday at 03:11 PM Share Thursday at 03:11 PM I didn't watch this show. I can't bear to watch anymore. Did Glen enforce the 2 drink limit or no tip? It is amazing to me that he would approve any drinking while off the boat with the guests? Big issue with liability if the crew gets drunk and an accident happens or someone in the club assaults a guest and the crew is unable to prevent or stop it. These below deck shows have gone from being professionals working at their boat jobs to a bunch of drunks and horny individuals willing to have sex basically on camera with the first person of the opposite who looks at them. Please Bravo either go back to the original format or take this trash off the air. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8556329

We won't find out if Glen enforced it until next week. If he doesn't enforce it then he may as well become a deck hand because his words will have zero meaning if he doesn't. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8556333
SemiCharmedLife Friday at 05:46 AM Share Friday at 05:46 AM Another thought: Gary lied to Glen about how many drinks he had. What a reprehensible individual. He was drunkenly blabbering about losing respect for Glenn, yet he respects no one and has no integrity. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8556904

Gary will probably forfeit his tip money, keep his job and all will be okay with Glen. Gary has a serious alcohol problem but Glen really thinks highly of Gary as a first officer so I doubt he'll ever fire him. Chatty Cake Monday at 10:19 PM Share Monday at 10:19 PM Why did Glenn allow the crew to have any drinks at all? Were they going to help the guests feel safer or did the guests want to get drunk with them? It was a disaster waiting to happen. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8559637

I got the feeling that the guests wanted the crew to get drunk & party with them. At that point it just turns into a way overpriced Carnival cruise. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151416-s05e14-rules-of-en-rage-ment/#findComment-8560062
