Carla loves showing cleavage when she is all chest. There is no cleavage.

I don’t mind Emem and I hated Ikechis behavior toward her. I want to know what went down when cameras were not filming, there has to be more. If he’s really that big of an ass because she initiated sex with her husband then I think he should have been asked to leave for gaslighting her. 
Karlas low cut top with the tattoo peeking out is unsightly. I do think she’s a very pretty lady and am surprised Juan hasn’t made a move. Although if he’s not into her it’s probably for the best.

Karla gets less attractive to me every week with her airy-fairy, oh I'm so hard to work with because I'm so wonderful, the Universe will provide me with my $13/day juice.  That ill-placed tat was awful.

Ikechi & Emem:  Yes, need to know what happened when cameras were off.  But wow, did he speak to her in the most heinous tone when she asked him about the vows.  She sat there and let him go on, which was great, because it showed just how awful he was.  Yes, she exploded at dinner, but that could have been because she finally had it.  I do applaud Karla for getting her to move away from the table and help calm her down.

I have zero hopes for any couples this season.

I wonder if it's producer shenanigans. In an earlier season, the show tried to make a Thing out of Austin not telling Jessica that he loved her, and they were--and are still-- one of the only MAFS couples to last. It's not that I have so much faith in Camille and Tom as a couple, but this conflict might be a little contrived. We already know that the producers are NOT interested in creating comfortable couples that work; that's why Ikechi is the latest in a long line of dysfunctional-at-life MAFS cast members.

That could be. I really think the whole culture issue and being Black enough was a producer interference to make them interesting. Now that it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, they have moved on to the Camille wanting him to be more swag stories. I would just like to see a story where she likes him and treats him with respect instead of trying to change him or punish him for being late. I don't like seeing anyone be condescending towards a partner.

I saw a lot more of Camille's swag when she was playing basketball--and I kind of liked it. I also enjoyed her conversation with Emem when she bonded with her about how often black women are called "aggressive."  I agree that this issue with Tom has been overblown, but I did see a little more of where Camille was coming from this episode.

I don't know anything at all about basketball but she looked like she knew what she was doing. She played in college, right?

yes she said she was on a full scholarship and that her dad drove three to four hours each way in one day for all her games.  So she must have been a decent player.

Me too on both points!

As for Camille - she has no "swag", if I understand "swag" correctly, and anyway Thomas wasn't wearing any of that tacky jewelry when they dressed up for the dinner, which leads me to blame producer shenanigans for that unsavory bit.

I was so glad that he finally stood up for himself and called her out on her nonsense, and specifically told her about how he had asked questions and that all he got was (sub-par) perfunctory answers.

I thought his continued questioning regarding the (alleged) NY business opportunity, was to uncover whether there was any substance at all behind it, and of course there wasn't.

So DONE with Ike & his BS! She's asking for CLARIFICATION, DEPTH! But no, his b*tch azz wants to complain his answer was "sincere" & "not good enough." If it's insufficient or doesn't answer the question, then it's insufficient or doesn't answer so EXPLAIN!!! AHHHH!!! Gave me labor pains & I'm not even preggo! Needed to take some deep breaths!!!! I CAN'T STAND THAT ISH!!!! Someone asks questions to understand. He believes she's asking questions to do what to him???!!! 😕 Punk, paranoid azz! He's walking on egg shells?!!! What about her?!!! He throws a fit over QUESTIONS!!!! 😕 He just said he wasn't trying to answer her question then said when he tries to answer it's not good enough. How is calling her an a-hole being respectful & making sure she's okay?!! That seemed abusive!!! So NOT OKAY!!! Surely, she must desire peace more than than that trash marriage, it ain't gunna get any better! He done dragged her down to his level at the dinner, inspiring her call him names! Issa wrap at that point! Em needs to take whatever shred of self-respect she has left & GO!

Talk about energy change when Ike showed up. 😬 Crickets. Versus when happy guy David showed up. 😂😂 Thankfully, Michelle hasn't worn that out of him. Surprised she didn't find more things to complain about. She stated his nice gestures in a factual way, not in a pleased or impressed way. Ugh. 1st I appreciated him shutting down Ike, but then it seemed like he did it to not let it ruin the vibe for the group. Like he was telling him to keep the verbal abuse private.
