This is the most interesting part of the show. Now gives them orders. They either 1) follow diligently, 2) dont try at all and complain or 3) pretend they ate trying but are eating when the camera isn't there and befuddled when no weight is lost

I feel your pain. The 38-ish kid next door snowblows the top of my driveway with his cute green tractor.

It's not so bad. I had a rough time in 2023 when: 1) I had to get my gallbladder removed due to attacks; 2) shortly after, I wound up with pancreatitis from Ozempic and in the hospital for a few days; and there was a tornado on my STREET.

It's been okay since then.  😁

I fought it, but I'm glad I moved to be near my son and his family. I get the 4 yr old once or twice a week and it's been fun. He keeps me on my eating habit (for the most part) and exercise, which I hope will let me run after him for a lot more years.

When I had my gallbladder out two years ago, I had a DaVinci robot procedure.   And it finally dawned on me I was on the geezer floor.    

She actually has a job, wears clothes and shoes, and seems like a lovely person. I'm hoping she's going to be a great success story.

When I was in my mid-20s I was working in the bookstore and a girl started working there who was a senior in high school (same school I went to). My boyfriend (also a coworker) and I went to see her in her school play and it wasn't until I saw her dad's law firm ad at the back of the program that I connected the last name and realized I babysat for her when I was a freshman in high school. (Her mom was my middle school art teacher; she was about 6 and her brother was 11 when I babysat for them. Brother didn't really need a sitter but he wasn't quite old enough to leave him in charge at night, either.)

I have a cardigan that's older than I am.  My Mom thinks she got it in 1976-1978, definitely before my parents were married.  It's starting to get a bit worn around the elbows but it's striped and super cool, about 10 years ago the exact style came back into fashion.  It's still warm, too.

This tie die dress she got on is particularly awful on some with stomach as round and big as hers. 

I am going to say she lost a little bit, but not nearly close to goal.  Somewhere in the 680-690 range.   And she is going to get discouraged because she 'worked so hard' and she is going to do worse next time because stress.

Jacky is probably going to wind up like Nikki, regarding her stomach. Nikki had to lose more than usual to get tons of skin removed at her abdomen. Meanwhile, that thing just sagged down. It affected her movement, her clothing selection; it was rough. So many of these people don't realize that the weight loss is only the beginning.. I'm sure many of them regret having eatten themselves into such a state. It's not like a car or work accident - you put the food in your mouth and you wouldn't stop.

I don't care about the reason why. And now they've got years of discomfort, surgery, pain, expense after weight loss if they want to look anywhere near normal.
