Friends invited us over for dinner last night. She’s a fabulous cook and hostess. I filled up on the appetizers including this truffle cheese that she referred to as “crack.” She was right!

@lemoncake I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis!  It sounds like y'all are hanging in there and doing the smart thing, though. 💗

My boyfriend asked if I would lick that chair from bottom to the top for $500.  I was CONSIDERING it for $5000.00.  I need to pay off a credit card.

Thanks everyone. The doctors tell me that there have been so many advances in chemo I the last few years. Its pretty amazing. His brother also had lung caner and has been cancer free for 15 years so we are hopeful

It's new and Season 13, but misnumbered by a lot of sources at Season 12.  Same with next week's new one.  

They're only going for a few days, maybe a week with testing and everything on the first visit.    So they take enough clothes for a month.

We went ten miles as far as my body could go today.

So while we were on a break, I lost my sweet orange tabby, Simon. I decided I didn't want anymore cats, but my girlfriend decided she wanted to adopt a shelter cat for her birthday. We ended up leaving the shelter with two cats. We already had four at home, so then we had six -- three boys and three girls. Well, at the end of November, two cats showed up at our house. At first we thought that they had been dropped on our property, but then we found out that the deadbeats who lived down the road moved out and left them! At first we were just feeding them and we bought an insulated and heated shelter for them to use outside on cold nights. We started bringing them in on a trial basis and I made a room for them in the basement to separate them from the existing pride. So now we have eight cats. We went from being "The Brady Bunch" to "Eight is Enough."
