Whole milk and full fat yogurt over here at Casa Mostly. I don't eat yogurt but do use it for baking. And only put milk in my coffee/tea. There's not that much difference wrt calories. I love butter but had to break up with it because I was too fat. I was eating buttered toast every day. Bread I baked so we are talking slabs of toast. I still enjoy butter but rarely. Like I said, lifestyle changes. I eat salad every day, pretty much now. When I go out I have what I want, but rarely finish it. It really is just a matter of changing your perspective.

I usually eat half at the restaurant and the bring the rest home for another meal. I don’t need to eat myself sick any more. A little goes a long way.

When houseguest and I go out to eat we order with an eye toward what will pack up well for her to have for her lunch and/or dinner the next day.

Did better but still not even close to the goal...

Olive Garden's chicken parm comes with two pieces of chicken. When I get it I immediately split the pasta in half and push it over to one side of my plate with one piece of chicken, eat the other side of the plate, and pack the rest up to take home.

Though lately when I've been there I get the six-ounce sirloin steak with fettucine Alfredo. Not the healthiest pasta choice but it's a relatively small portion (as opposed to ordering the actual fettucine Alfredo dish). Sometimes I add broccoli.
