The stakes could not be higher at a crucial, muddy Immunity Challenge.  Castaways must spark a win or flame out at a fire-making showdown to earn their way to the final three.  Then, one castaway will be crowned Sole Survivor and awarded the one-million-dollar prize.

Happy finale everyone!  Can't believe we are the end of another season already.  Been a really good one, imo.  There's a good chunk of this cast I'd like to see return one day.

One thing I wish they'd eliminate is the final four-fire-making challenge. If they want to keep it, just make all four do it.

Happy finale! Guessing Rachel for the win? At the start of this show I didn’t think Sue would make it this far. It’s always a surprise at the beginning of this show about who makes it to the end.

I had high hopes for Sue in the beginning of the season but I hated that she started taking things so personally when her allies got voted off or her name got written down.  It's like when things weren't going her way she was out for blood because she didn't get her way.  

Rachel's game seems to be peaking at the right time because it was forced to.  Sam's game peaked early because he wasn't thinking ahead and doing alliance management with Andy (or not doing anything to make him and Sierra look less threatening to everyone).  And then there's Sue and Teeny who are just there.

I usually start the season enjoying the cast and lose interest halfway but this season has been the reverse for me. Go Rach!

I think Rachel or Sam have it.  I just can't see how Sue or Teeny have a path to victory.

But I was reminded last week or the week before about Gabler winning S43 and I didn't see that coming, either.  So who knows!

Okay, that puzzle is kind of cool.  But eh-crawling through mud, puzzles, grabbing a bag with puzzle pieces.  Glad Survivor is going out true to form in challenges!

That actually seems like a relatively easy final challenge. Yeah it has a lot of obstacles but they don't seem that hard. I prefer the final challenges that's mostly endurance or balance.

I wish they still did endurance challenges as the final IC like they did in the old days for many years.  Those could be interesting with a mix of humor sometimes.

I mean if this comes down to a puzzle challenge between Sam and Rachel, I feel like we know how this will go. No shade Sam, but shade.

But hey, who knows, maybe the one IC Sam will win is the one that matters the most.

My ideal Final Three would have been Sol, Kyle and Jon, which I know is a big sausage fest, but 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Yeah we all knew when the final obstacle was the bat puzzle Rachel had this in the bag, even if she had still been in the mud while everyone else was on the platform.

Will be interesting to see who she chooses and who she lets make fire. Sam is right that he'll probably be making fire but I wonder if she'll stick with Sue because they were aligned or pick Teeny because she's an obvious GOAT.

Doesn't matter either way because no matter who's sitting next to her, Rachel has this thing in the bag. Unless, the jury doesn't like her as much as we think. I can see Sam for example getting 'ol girl's vote, Genevieve's, etc.

Idea: Final immunity is fire-making in front of the jury. Tribal Council happens immediately after, with the losers casting votes. If it comes down to 1-1-1, winner casts the deciding vote.

I wanted Sol and Kyle for sure.  Didn't really care about the final spot except I didn't want Rome, and at this point don't want Sue.

I don't get what it is with this season and people have these personal grudges for seemingly no reason.  

The way Sue is carrying on I'm hoping Sam beats Teeny in fire.  The only thing I'm looking forward to in this season ending is not having to listen to her whine and complain every week about someone.
