snarts December 16 Share December 16 Quote The primary charter guest hates the décor, but the deck team attempts to turn the experience around with a poetic performance. Airs 12.16.2024 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/
Emmeline December 17 Share December 17 I enjoyed Chase and followed him while he worked on his own sail boat. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8534584
iMonrey Tuesday at 05:13 PM Share Tuesday at 05:13 PM Even though she was pretty obnoxious, I kind of get where the Birthday Gal was coming from RE: black and gold. She's right. All the "joke" balloons for "over the hill" birthday parties are black and gold. Of course, I wouldn't have stomped out there and demanded all the black be taken down. At most I might have pulled the chief stew aside and politely asked if the decor could be changed. Danni did not endear herself when she said "the truth hurts bitch." I don't understand why this franchise insists on leaning so hard into the crew hookups. It's gotten much worse in recent years and I don't know if it's because they have some kind of research that shows it's what their audience wants to see or if it's just some kind of mandate from Bravo. But who really gives a flying crap whether Danni or Diana fucks Chase? I don't. Less of this, please, and more focus on the crew dealing with the guests. At least Gary stayed sober. For once. I wonder if the show is going to acknowledge the sexual assault claims, or if this was their subtle way of doing so. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535072

I wonder if the show is going to acknowledge the sexual assault claims, or if this was their subtle way of doing so. I also wondered if his sudden sobriety was due to the allegations. From what I read, one of the production assistants tasked with delivering items to their hotel rooms & ferreting the cast around on that days they're off the boat filming interviews claimed he assaulted her & wouldn't let her leave his room. It occurred mid-filming. As a result, Gary was separated from the rest of the cast & crew on those days. They continued to go to the hotel while he was forced to stay on the boat. The fact that nobody questioned his sudden sobriety told me they all knew what was afoot. Danni's one of those, eh? Expects to be the prettiest girl at the prom and gets super competitive over male attention. It reads needy & desperate. Both stews are whiny ass babies regarding their actual job. Annoyed me that Daisy decided to get up at 5. She tries to hard to be liked IMHO. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535111

aghst Tuesday at 08:07 PM Share Tuesday at 08:07 PM Only remarkable thing about this episode, that I could think of, is that from some camera angles, Glen's hair looks darker than previously. Maybe he's dying a bit for TV? The little song and dance about the jellyfish bite, whatever, that's more antics made up just for the sake of filming something. Those women didn't look like they were really into the clubbing. Dancing by themselves mostly, not very animated. But it was like middle of the morning and they're a little too old to be clubbing. Then they wanted just to go to bed but there was expectation that they'd be served a lot of snack type of comfort food, pizzas and quesadillas and so on when they returned at 5 AM in the morning. That expectation no doubt came from producers. Remember, sleep deprivation is not an accident on this show, it's intentional, to get the crew overly emotional, maybe make mistakes, maybe melt down on camera. So damn cynical and blatant. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535161

I thought the guests were a little boring. The apres club food Cloyce made was nothing great, I know they requested some of the things served but Cloyce could have leveled up on some of those things. The guests leaving a $24,000 tip is so bogus, Daisy couldn't even deliver a decent cup of coffee and didn't have the forethought to bring a tray of sugars and creamer and pot of hot coffee but instead made a rookie mistake trying to guess how much cream and sugar someone would want in their coffee. The crew goes out partying and then return to the boat to rub up against each other in the hot tub and in an almost desperate last call before the lights are turned on in the bar sort of way there is a make out session that looks as steamy as a tepid shower and then walk to the primary cabin. Boring. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535361
Red Bridey Wednesday at 01:14 AM Share Wednesday at 01:14 AM I'm shocked they left $24,000 as a tip. For ******* (seven star) service, I would have thought the ocean would have been swept for jellyfish and had them all removed! Ronnie, the primary, right?, had a perma-scowl on her face. Didn't seem like she liked anything. But it seems they are the calm before the storm because the next bunch look like they are deranged! Yay! 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535373
aghst Wednesday at 01:49 AM Share Wednesday at 01:49 AM When is the last time there was a low tip? Like less than $1000 per crew member? Maybe one of very first seasons of BD? Or maybe never? No matter how great the food, lets say they have 5 or 6 meals over a 2-day charter. A $20,000 tip over 5 meals is $4,000 tip per meal. That's divided by say 6 guests who have those meals? That's about $667 per person. Certainly you can spend that much per person on fine dining meals. But are the meals depicted on the show worth that kind of gratuity? Of course the tip is also for the stews serving them drinks on demand and cleaning their cabins once or twice a day, doing their laundry. Also the deck crew setting up water toys for them, sometimes driving the water skis and tender for their recreational sports activities. Those would be the considerations on a real yacht. On the show, it's more about compensating the cast members and the engineers who make the boat run. Maybe the cast gets some basic SAG rates or if they're not in SAG something similar. Doubtful that Bravo is giving them a salary. They may give it to the veteran cast members who appear season after season. But the newbies who rotate through every season, the tips are probably their main source of compensation, the reason why they're willing to say and do the things they do on camera. Dirt cheap, considering that the team is probably making a ton more on ad sales and maybe giving the cast $20-30k, if we say $200 tip per charter? Not a bad deal for the young cast members, probably only filming for 4-6 weeks. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8535400
Crazydoxielady Thursday at 11:54 AM Share Thursday at 11:54 AM (edited) Danni is just so over the top with her pick me nonsense. Is this the fourth dude she’s gone for now? All in viewing distance of the others ? She’s not half as cute as she thinks she is, she’s just easy access. Her palate is off somehow. It’s clear Chase preferred Diana, but after being offered up sex on a platter he decided to have a bite or two. Not surprising. Yeah clearly Gary had a stern talking to. He’s shook. Cloyce & the Irish tasting joke for the win. Daisy was delighted despite the feigned embarrassment. Ronnie and her Ronnetts really stayed out clubbing until daylight? To me that sounds like torture at my tender age, but clearly They had something to prove. nokat Thursday at 10:42 PM Share Thursday at 10:42 PM Why do they have to show Gary peeing? Are they doing drug tests at that time? Showing he can hit the toilet so is not staggering drunk? My creep-o-meter is pinging on Cloyce. That laugh. Shudder. Danni, everyone knows you're the pick me girl. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151113-s95e11-much-ado-about-crushing/#findComment-8537035
