It wasn’t the same coat. It didn’t have the same shape and was an inspired by knock off. Also it was fake fur and the authentic version is real dyed fox. 

Of you look at screen shots the NY version is slouch and doesn’t have the same structured heart which is the essence of the design.

She looks a BIT better these days:

Meredith's mom had that weird under nose area.  A straight slope.  Maybe this crew needs to find better surgeons.

Meredith's mother had a bad facelift and horrible cheek fillers. 

Donatella Versace looks a lot better now. Her makeup is also softer, and her hair is not that harsh platinum blonde. This is how she looked before.

Understandable confusion on your part!   So what we had for our kids,  and most Jewish people that I know, have the religious service in the synagogue in the morning.  Later in the afternoon or evening, the big party is held at a banquet or catering hall type of venue. Much the same as getting married at a church in the afternoon and having the reception at a banquet/catering facility.  In either place, Bronwyn’a outfit was not a good choice.  Certainly not at the temple where people dress modestly!! At the reception people do tend to dress lavishly, to what degree depends on the venue and the time of day (same as wedding guest style). So the sparkles and sequins and bare shoulders and color were fine but a bare midriff top??? Nope nope that was just crass. I get she thinks she’s the most stylish person to ever exist, but that was a really wrong choice. Especially when you’re calling someone’s hair slutty while you’re parading around in a sequined midriff!   
 

Edited to add:  my husband is not Jewish, nor is his entire huge family.  Yet they all came dressed appropriately to the synagogue and later the venue. (Despite the fact that we live in flashy trashy New Jersey lol)  It’s just a specific-to-Bronwyn thing to dress that way

I mean, these are very different and weird circumstances. I think I would be hyper aware of any and every thing that may end up on camera. I think it's more about his discomfort with the cameras, the SET UPS and the deliberate baiting that has him wanting to "take her hand and steer her clear" of what we all know and understand to be a "housewife moment".  I also feel like of all people HE would know how capable Bronwyn is of probably shooting herself in the foot. Bronwynn seems extra sure of herself when it comes to "manuvering" around the housewife chaos and I'm not so sure hubby trusts that Bronwynn has a full grasp of just how big of an animal this show is. He may seem to no "know" what show he's on but I'm seeing some general preemptiveness in his demeanor. Meaning, it doesn't matter if he  completely understands what the deal is in any given circumstance, just that he doesn't trust it won't get too out of hand which in turn has him holding his hands out ALL the time ready to steady Bronwynn. I feel like he's so untrusting of every moment filmed that he's constantly on alert for any potential, meltdowns, slipups, misspeaks or harmful blurts and wants to try and avoid them at all costs. Even if it means that he's constantly hall monitoring his wife. LOL.

Trouble with that is, you can't deny the show these moments so trying to keep them from happening defeats being on the show to begin with. I continue to believe that Todd wasn't 100% on board with his wife joining the show.

I seriously was wondering why the actress Mindy Sterling (Linda Schwartz on the Goldbergs) was at the event before I learned it was Meredith's mother. 

Mary peering in the window screamed of production shenanigans geared toward this redemption arc she they seem hell bent on presenting this season.

Bronwyn dresses and has her make-up applied as though she is heading for a runway show.  Lots of those OTT looks are never meant to hit the streets as presented. She may think she looks artsy and cool but in my opinion she looks like a poseur surfing in on her husband's bank account.  Not to mention coming in kind of hot on the shit stirring meter for someone who also seems to want to come across as better than the rest.

Angie is walking the hubris tightrope.

I liked Bronwyn's outfit. Also, I think she was joking when she made the slutty hair comment because she'd already done a selfie earlier with Britani and the other woman.

I am a Bronwyn fan, but also would love to know what she told Todd to convince him doing this show was a good idea.

She looks better with the softer makeup and darker hair, but she is still in scary territory to me in the photo on the right. She looks better in the left photo, probably because it's at a distance. 

Lisa's comment to Brittany about the hair treatment was funny in a snarky way. The timing and delivery was spot on. 

As ichbin said, I wonder if the producers gave Mary the wrong time so she'd be late and they'd have their scene of her peeking in the window. If not it was rude of her to be that late for this type of event.

They were definitely involved - filming her from both sides but not showing her to the door.  And shame on Meredith and the rabbi, who both knew what this would turn into.
