truthaboutluv November 7 Share November 7 I personally think breaking up a pair is always the smarter move. Once old Gata is weakened, Rachel may not have many places to maneovre. 3 Link to comment

SoMuchTV November 7 Share November 7 (edited) I don’t want this to sound like this is coming from the wrong place, but I’m trying to understand. Didn’t we learn that Teeny is non-binary? Although I’m not sure it’s been mentioned on the show or I’ve just read it here. So, why is this the season they decided to split up men vs women? I guess it’s like Bernie Sanders and the democrats - teeny has chosen to caucus with the women? Edited November 7 by SoMuchTV I see I’ve cross posted with others who have the same question Link to comment

I'm thinking about the last time they were indecisive about voting off someone she liked. They might be the foil in this plan. (I edited because I realized I used the wrong pronouns). All nonbinary people, while not identifying with a specific gender, are still biologically, physically, genetically one gender or the other, regardless of their intentions of not identifying as one or the other. 2 Link to comment

I'm leaning towards Gabe. A Gata going seems too perfect. I think the show might try and blindside the audience by making it seem like a former Gata is going. And I think Andy talks big but is someone who won't make a move until it's too late to make a move. Link to comment

Sounds reasonable, but since they don’t normally split up men vs women, why would they pick this season to do that? Why even make it a thing when they didn’t have to? (Obviously that’s directed to the show, not the poster I replied to.) 2 Link to comment
truthaboutluv November 7 Share November 7 I definitely think it'll be an old Gata, just not sure which one. Link to comment

I'm surprised that there was talk earlier on about people assuming Sam/Sierra were a pair and that made them nervous people perceived them like that. Yet there hasn't been a ton of talk about that until tonight. And Andy might be blowing this lol Link to comment
WatcherUp2 November 7 Share November 7 Was Andy's answer not what Jeff asked? I thought I'd dozed off for a second. 1 Link to comment
truthaboutluv November 7 Share November 7 I only see Gabe going if they went with Rachel and she gets spooked enough to play her idol. Link to comment
LadyChatts November 7 Share November 7 And Rachel puts her idol (unless it was her SITD) in her pocket. So maybe she's going to play that tonight. Yep, she played her SITD. Link to comment
Michichick November 7 Share November 7 An episode or two ago, Jeff referred to Teeny as “she.” I know he wouldn’t disrespect someone’s identity deliberately, which made me think perhaps Teeny wasn’t out as non-binary when they filmed the show. 2 Link to comment
LadyChatts November 7 Share November 7 And she got a not safe. So there's another person who couldn't vote. Probably is an old Gata going then. Link to comment
truthaboutluv November 7 Share November 7 So she was so nervous she played a Shot in the Dark instead of an idol that guarantees safety? The hell? Looks like they split the votes between Sam and Sierra. Knew it would be an old Gata. 3 Link to comment
LadyChatts November 7 Share November 7 Hee hee, I needed this tonight. A tie vote between Sam and Sierra. I thought the vote started a little too early. 2 Link to comment
LadyChatts November 7 Share November 7 Wait, Sierra can re-vote? I'm confused. Well, at least she has to vote for Sam. Way to go guys! Link to comment
KaveDweller November 7 Share November 7 Sierra seems pissed. Understandably, but more than some people who get voted out. 1 Link to comment

truthaboutluv November 7 Share November 7 (edited) What did I say after the first episode - Gata's decision to choose Andy over John would come back and bite them in the ass. Because for all the "I'm so insecure" bullshit from him, Andy would become one of those players in the game that seemingly never goes away. And sure enough, he ended up being their downfall after the merge. Edited November 7 by truthaboutluv 5 1 Link to comment
Rodney November 7 Author Share November 7 Damn. Hoped for Sam. But he's weaker without Sierra, so that's fine with me. 3 Link to comment
MerBearHou November 7 Share November 7 (edited) Andy’s maniacal smile and eyes — I had to look away whenever they showed him during the vote reading. Wow, he creeps me out. I like both Sierra and Sam — sorry it had to be one of them. Edited November 7 by MerBearHou 2 Link to comment
gorgy November 7 Share November 7 I hate Andy in a non-tv villain way. Like, he's a vomit human-being with no redeeming qualities. 9 Link to comment

I'm in no way saying Andy is a genius mastermind, but they clearly underestimated him and did not keep him close or make him feel valued. I'm glad he got them first. 2 minutes ago, Rodney said: Damn. I viewed him as the stronger of the two, so they must have seen something out there that made Sierra more threatening. I hope Sam is next though, but the way this season is going alliances seem to flip flop every week. 4 Link to comment

susannot November 7 Share November 7 Unlike most of you, I'm glad that Andy got out his nemesis Sierra. I hated that she referred to him as a little toy or plaything that she and Sam could keep in their back pockets. You don't treat another human being like that, especially on Survivor. I'm always happy to see the popular cool kids voted out, possibly because of unresolved issues from high school. 10 Link to comment

Lady Lucy November 7 Share November 7 Quote I wonder if Rachel played her SITD just so she wouldn't have to vote? Possibly. I also think she may have played it (rather than her idol) because everyone knew she had a SITD but no one knows about the idol. Element of surprise at a future TC. 4 4 Link to comment

Vegan is a bit harder than being a vegetarian but I know plenty. But we vegetarians stuff ourselves with pizza, mac and cheese, tufu stuff that actually tastes great, ice cream, chocolate, lasagna, all sorts of eggless cakes and pies, fruits etc. We also occasionally eat a vegetable too. 😉 Edited November 7 by Skooma 2 Link to comment
