I feel that. I'm so tired. In addition to the start of the Big Renovation, my mother's hospitalization, getting sorted with camping out at my mother's house, I am SICK. Wrung out, exhausted, coughing up a lung, yuck. I've been trying to clean her house because at 95 she can't manage it but refuses to have a cleaner. I scrubbed the kitchen floor and did laundry and dusted and swept but ran out of steam and crashed hard. Hopefully I'm on the road to recovery and will be able to get some good work done this weekend. And much as I love you all, my peeps, 90 minutes seems really long to me sometimes!

So probably this is wildly unethical but since your mom's in a rehab center, could you have help in for a deep clean and just not tell her? That's a lot to take on yourself.

I don't think it's at all unethical and I'm shocked I didn't think of it myself! Thank you for that wonderful idea! As it is we're not telling her we're camping out here at the moment, on my brother's advice, since it would just stress her out. She gets really fretful and anxious so we're keeping it on the down low. We just told her that we're cleaning the house for her.
