peeayebee November 6 Share November 6 Cracker Barrel? Somewhere homey? A barrel of hair from all the haircuts? Does Gretchen just work there or does she own the salon? I wonder if she came up with the name. Link to comment
peeayebee November 7 Share November 7 There are so many hair salon name puns, so I wonder if this was deliberately NOT a pun, esp with all the store name puns in BB. I was just looking up some names: Anita Haircut Shearlock Combs Julius Scissor I'll Cut You Curl Up & Dye 2 1 Link to comment
bad things are bad November 7 Share November 7 Salon around the corner is A Room with a Do Yesterday my husband's new physical therapist came to the house and at some point we were talking about what we watch on TV. I said Bob's, and she asked me how old I was (almost 70). She said I was the only person she's ever met over 40 who watches Bob's! 1 Link to comment
Aryanna November 7 Share November 7 I once saw a salon type place named On Fleek. Idk if you could come up with a more 2014 sounding name if you tried. I'm sure it probably sounded cool in 2014. About a decade later it just sounds dated. 1 Link to comment

incandescent November 10 Share November 10 They've done a great job populating Wagstaff with more characters in recent years — Chelsea, Will, and Sam all had their premiere episodes within the last two years. I loved the Louise, Rudy, Millie team-up in the counterfeit pottery episode so I would want her in there too. I wonder who their last two members would be! Link to comment

Galileo908 November 11 Author Share November 11 Neighbor: Thats not a knife fork store Exterminator: Fumin' Nature Burger of The Day: The No Kimchi For Old Men Burger, The L.A. Prawn-Fidential Burger, The Chilidelphia Story Burger This was a fun one. It was fun to see all these characters again, and explain why ones like Gayle and Darryl weren't in this. Even Jimmy Pesto was in this! His reaction to Andy & Ollie's act had great animation. Great to see Marshmallow again! Loved that she saved the day from the fire marshall. Her song was beautiful. And Mr. Fischoeder and his PILF. ("I guess that makes me a pilferer!" slayed me). I laughed hard at Trev's act. 4 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic November 11 Share November 11 No plans to eat a scone. I liked how Bob promised streaming rights with the thought of a line at the restaurant. I thought that Mr. Fischoeder was going to put the screws on Bob for the open mic night, but he was all in. Gene always gets y the censors. PILF. And Marshmallow is back! To be fair, the mics and licensing is a big expense. There's no guarantee Bob makes that money back, let alone break even. Who was doing Jimmy Pesto? I'm not surprised the place was packed. Whenever they do anything at the restaurant, they line up for it. Even when Bob lost on the cooking show. I'm frustrated that a fictional restaurant isn't doing better. Fischoeder and the Princess did Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat. Just give the Emmy now. I am slightly disappointed no one ordered anything, but Louise came up with passing the bongo around for everyone to chip in. 4 Link to comment

peeayebee November 11 Share November 11 That was fun. I thought all the acts were good, even Andy & Ollie's rendition of Moonlight Sonata was good. It was great when Louise passed the bongo around so her parents would make a little money. Marshmallow was great. "Don't 'What' my 'Well well.'" And she saved the day. It was sweet seeing her parents and how much they love her. Tina, Louise, and Gene's song was pretty clever. Loved the lyrics. 4 Link to comment

tennisgurl November 14 Share November 14 Tina, Louise, and Gene's song was honestly such a bop, no wonder everyone was so into it. "I wanna put a face on your butt and lick it..." That was a really fun episode, it was great seeing so many of the reoccurring characters, even the return of Jimmy Pesto. His face during Andy and Ollie's routine was pretty amazing, I think this might be the first time in seasons that they've really acknowledged that he's Andy, Ollie, and Jimmy Jr.'s father, he's not the most involved parent. I thought that the performances were all pretty great, although Marshmallow truly stole the show, and saved the day from the fire marshal. It sucks that they didn't end up selling many burgers, but they did at least get some money thanks to Louise passing her drums around, and they did at least get people inside, which I am still counting as a win. 2 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic November 14 Share November 14 Being so heavily invested in the success of a fake restaurant, I'm hoping everyone had a good time and will make it a point to visit for lunch sometime. 2 Link to comment

That explains so much. And like him, I'm not a big fan of my birthday. And Linda, you should read the room about someone not wanting to celebrate, especially after a funeral. But dammit, that sad party made me laugh. Great Bob, you transferred your trauma of wiping out to Louise. And Gene's reaction to getting the sex talk was one of the funniest bits in a while. And hey, Bob and Louise came in fourth! That's a Belcher first! 4 Link to comment

DoctorAtomic November 25 Share November 25 I'm not a birthday guy either. I don't not like it, but I don't like putting it on people because then they think they have to be all something about it. I don't like when someone else says it. That's my decision to make. Where was Rudy? He could have borrowed his mom's new boyfriend. Who thought Gene was ready for the sex talk?! I don't think I've ever seen anyone order a beer before at the restaurant. Link to comment

peeayebee November 25 Share November 25 The Bugly Yuckling made me giggle. I can't decipher "The Mango No You Fign't Burger." Loved the bit where Linda shakes her head for the kids while Bob is clearly seeing her do it. Gene screaming No! after Bob's sex talk was funny, but I'd really like to hear his sex talk. It might make ME scream No. It was nice that Linda came up with a game that handymen and maam would enjoy. And the ice cream machine got fixed! 2 Link to comment

Enigma X November 25 Share November 25 For a show I absolutely adore, it is filled with characters that irk me: Linda, Teddy Gene, and, yes, even sometimes Louise. That said, I love most Bob-focused episodes and really enjoyed the Bob/Louise bonding. 1 Link to comment

tennisgurl November 25 Share November 25 Bob really is a great dad, he was even willing to face hos boogie board related trauma to be there for Louise, even if he accidently passed his trauma onto her. But it all worked out, they came in fourth, which is a Belcher first! Teddy's dad died at a funeral, that sounds about right. I thought it was sweet that Linda wanted to do something for Teddy and the handypeople, and they even got the ice cream machine fixed! 1 Link to comment

DoctorAtomic November 26 Share November 26 I would think a thin slice of grilled mango would be interesting, but I don't know how you add the fig. It seems overkill, unless Bob grinds the fig into the beef when he makes the burger because it's sticky. Link to comment
DoctorAtomic November 26 Share November 26 That makes more sense. Still, a lot of sweetness between the fig and the mango. Neither are cheap either. Link to comment
