Josie and Jenni wore matching dresses to Jana's party and were in charge of wrangling those billion little flower girls. So maybe they were considered jr bridesmaids aka babysitters

As far as sibling relationships, none of the sisters were all that close to any of their siblings. Some buddies became attached to their big buddy, but I think only the brothers and Joy had anything close to a friendship within similar aged sibling groups.

Jana was never an introvert. She was a chatterbox who was trained to tone it down.

While the parents always pushed the siblings as best friends narrative, it wasn't true in real life.  Parents in cults like this don't want the kids to get close to one another because the kids can then band together against the parents.  So it's all for show, but behind the scenes kids are regularly pitted against each other and encouraged to rat each other out.  See the Rodrigues children.

Kitchen renovation

Honestly, Jana and Stephen seem so perfect for each other, I'm really liking them together. Guess that's what happens when you don't get married to the first person you smile at the second you turn 18. So much more comfortable around each other than I've seen any of the other couples. And Jana, sketchy safety issues aside, 1000% is the only Duggar I would trust to actually do pretty much any kind of project she says she can do. She has some legit skills. I don't care for the drawer pulls she chose, not my style, but everything else looks very classic. She's no doubt going to end up with the best house along with the best wedding.

Wow, she eats three eggs with three slices of cheese every morning.  I guess she needs energy for all that moving around she does all day.

The kitchen is looking beautiful.  I hope they stay in that house for a long time, with all the work they've put into it to make it just the way they want it.

Looks very boring, but they stayed in a beautiful house that a friend loaned them.

I see the home girls are still in skirts and leggings, while it looks hot enough to wear sleeveless and shorts for the others. I actually just bought a jean skirt. But it’s got a big old slit right up the front. Sorry Michelle.

I wonder what it’s like to wait for purposeful sex for the first time in your 30s? I think most of us just kinda got the first one out of the way because we were curious and or scared. I think I would be so full of anxiety I would need more than fruit to calm me down.

I wonder how Michelle is reacting to all of the girls in such slutty clothes? Except for her homebound daughters, of course. And who funded this trip? How many girls flying to Santa Barbara? Even if it was a friend‘s house, that’s a lot of cash they’re putting out.

Wait, and who do they tell him not to break their diet? Was it Jana so that she can fit into her dress? I thought it sounded like they were talking to Hannie, and she was pretty big on her exercises. Maybe she has an intended? 
 

Isn’t it funny how all the girls are so pretty, yet all the guys are so below average in looks? I’m feeling always bad for Jennie. She needs a dermatologist, yet her complexion never seems to improve. How old is she? she’s not even wearing any makeup yet. I certainly hope that Jill was invited, and just didn’t have the time, or the patience for mom. She’s still extremely friendly to everyone on Instagram as though they do all get along. Can you tell I’m watching the video and adding on comments as it goes on? 😛

The home girls still look lost, while Abby and Joy are dancing and having fun like regular people who have lived a little bit.

Michelle’s got some balls, chasing after a guy who stole a wallet. Although she appears to be wearing a scrubs shirt, that is the least covered i’ve seen her in a long time. No black hose or skirt or shoes to be seen. 
 

I can’t imagine being in such a new and exciting environment, and then Jessa going back home to homeschool five children.

Yeah, I think that was the purpose of Michelle going along. Pay for those $17 omelettes, and run down some thieves. I think that’s the best she’s ever looked, casually dressed and seeming to have fun despite her girls in skimpy clothes.
 

By the way, that was not I Love Lucy, it was in color, so it had to be The Lucy Show. Either way, kind of a lame way to end the night.  
 

Jinger has the best deal going on. She’s already home, and in a beautiful house. The others are headed for Arkansas and Nebraska. Not my cup of tea.

But Lucy‘s hair was different, like her later show. And I think I saw her with Mr. Mooney. Remember him? I think in the first show he was her banker/boss. He showed up again and in Here’s Lucy, but I think he was her brother-in-law or something in that one. I guess they just all see Lucy and think it’s going to be clean and tame. Just like the Andy Griffith show. Although Andy did date, poor Helen. We don’t know what they ever did, but he went a long time without marrying her.

Jana's wedding week video is below.  She had misgivings about her wedding gown and went to the bridal shop to have a couple of back-up options ready just in case.  I think her second back-up option was lovely and more beautiful than her original dress.  She got last-minute alterations done on the original dress and it all came together in time for the wedding.

Stephen seems like a nice and easy-going guy.  He always has a smile on his face, even when he was mopping up poop from the floor.

There were scenes of Jana packing, food preparation, a mani-pedi with the bridal party, and yikes, Jana having her big toenail removed at the doctor's office after stubbing it.

Jana did a first look with JB and his first reaction seemed very sincere (You look like a princess!), but then he slipped into platitudes (I was praying this would happen for you this year). Her first look with Stephen was natural and they both looked really happy. It does seem like they've spent time alone together. They're not as awkward as her siblings and partners on their respective wedding days. I skipped over Michelle. 

They didn't show any of the actual wedding, it ends right before the ceremony. And JB is wearing a nice suit for a change.

After the princess remark, they interacted awkwardly with each other.  Maybe it's because they're being videotaped, I don't know.  It just didn't seem natural.  And I'm shocked that JB complimented her off-the-shoulder gown.

Some takeaways:

• Jana and Abbie/John's relationship is probably the most "normal sibling" relationship this bunch has. It's very clear that they spend a lot of time together because they want to, not because they have to. In the picture with all the little girls, Gracie is on Jana's lap, and anytime there is any sort of family function, Jana is the aunt she's always by. 
• Stephen is really attractive; waiting was worth it.
• The two of them *definitely* shenaned and shenaniganed prior to marriage. There's zero doubt in my mind 😆

Plus, John and Abbie seem so normal and really in love. There was a video of just everybody mingling around, and you could see John and Abbie staring at each other and kissing and smiling. Obviously not put on because they didn’t see the camera, like Michelle and Jim Bob always did.
