So far all I've seen on ABC is weather stuff. There are tornadoes to the south of here. However, the weather guy says, they will get us to The Bachelorette as soon as possible as lots of people have been calling in, asking about it.

And now we finally have The Bachelorette on! The rejected suitors are leaving the ceremony. Sorry Thomas, you might have stayed longer if you paid less attention to Devin and more attention to Jenn.

So sometimes when I’m clothes shopping I’ll see a top and say I can’t decide whether it’s ugly or cute—like it’s such an off-putting color or odd style that it’s come full circle and I kind of like it? I think Jonathan is like that—like many parts of his face are so off-kilter that he’s kind of cute…or is he?

If she can only keep one, I have to vote for Devin. He is annoying AF, but he doesn’t seem to have anger issues, unlike someone.

This mullet guy is playing it safe—self-eliminate before she can send him home. Why is Jenn acting all upset? She’s not into him, and he left because he knows she’s not into him. This has nothing to do with the guys whom she actually likes. But between this and the date with Jonathan where she was saying her ex gaslit her and earlier with Matt her saying no one has ever said they were in love with her before and all the stuff with the divorced parents and toxic ex drama, this girl seems to be somewhat of a “love virgin” herself.

Jenn is lacking confidence for the role.  She is attractive enough for a Bachelorette.  She just seems to pick the worst guys.  She continually talks about picking guys in the past that treated her badly.  I do not think she has learned from her mistakes.  She is just so needy.

I remember thinking Charity would be a boring Bachelorette, but I ended up liking her.  Jenn just seems….young?   And her jerk radar still needs some work.  Sam should have been sent home last episode.   If he will act like that on camera, jus5 what will he be like when they are alone?

I felt so bad for that guy…Grant might be his name…who tried to convince himself he’s falling in love with Jen because they’re both emotionally unavailable and have daddy issues. It seems like everyone on this show is like I’ve only had toxic relationships, if any, and I come from a broken home, and I’m not sure what love is…but maybe a case of Stockholm Syndrome will make me get engaged? And to think we scoffed at the love virgin! At least he was upfront from day 1! The rest of them it’s like an excruciatingly slow reveal that they’re not any better off—and might even be worse off. Most seasons we kind of hope that maybe they’ll last a few months—or best case a couple of years. This time, they’re trying to set up the “big twist ending” that maybe Jen won’t get engaged. Well, no shit! She shouldn’t get engaged! And if they try to pull a switcheroo and she does get engaged, I’ll be yelling at my TV nooooooooooooo!

Oh, and Dylan who didn't get a rose and riding in the Limo for Dumpees, trying his best to look disappointed and cry. 😩 Made me crack up! 🤣

I don't know if he'd be available since he's in med school, but I'd love to see him on BIP.

I’d love to see Dylan as the lead! He’s hot, smart, sweet, normal, ambitious…definitely the biggest catch of this season, IMO. I’m crossing my fingers that’s why they filmed a breakup scene for his Bachelor intro package—forcing him to pretend to be sad, even though he’s ninth runner up or whatever and never even had a date with Jenn.

Yes, being the Bachelor would be much better than being on BIP.  Also, the producers wouldn't have any trouble finding contestants for him.

I agree with most everyone around here about Jenn, she seems nice and is obviously gorgeous, but she's a really boring bachelorette. She isn't all that charismatic on screen, its hard to get a real read on her personality, and she's just so needy. I don't think she was emotionally ready for this, she keeps talking about her bad taste in men and her self esteem issues and it doesn't seem like she's past either of those issues.

At least she said no to her ex and told him to take his tux and kick rocks, even she could tell that he was chasing screen time. 

Devin seems like a front runner, Jenn certainly has latched onto him. I don't think he's the monster that some of the other guys act like he is, but he does give off a feeling of smugness. 

At least we got to see some cute animals. Sheep! Horses!

Well, Austin my hot crush 🔥💯  of this season made the right call to leave- I hope to see him on BIP.  I would've left too if I had to shovel shit for hours! Jen needs therapy- she's trauma dumping on all of these guys, and she even said on this episode that she's worried the guys will eventually "see how worthless I am" 🙁.

Same, I was so disappointed with Charity as the Bachelorette choice because I'd found her restrained and boring on the Bachelor, but I ended up really liking her as the lead. 

Jenn didn't seem like a great pick either, but given that their top 2 choices turned it down, this season was already starting in the hole and hasn't risen up.

I would've loved to see a Maria season, like her or hate her, she had personality for days and would've kept things interesting.

I agree. Sometimes when he smiles from a certain angle, he's completely adorable and then from another angle, I'm not sure he's even cute.

I do think he has a quality to him, like he'd be fun and I appreciated the way he called out that guy when the group was up in arms. He was firm and direct about it, but without the extra drama of the tattletale types and without threatening physical violence.

LOL, that was funny. But it says something about this season that I can't recall who it was or what they were talking about.

I'm averaging 3 days to finish a single episode, I keep losing interest and turning to something else before the episode ends. 

Also, I hope that ex of hers got what he wanted from this because signing up to be embarrassed on TV and then have to stand up in front of a group of guys and pretend to wish them well while describing your alleged failed attempt to get her back doesn't seem like a great time.

The number of times he repeated that he did this all on his own, on his own dime, etc was definitely protesting too much. I have to imagine he was well compensated for agreeing to do it, the producers probably felt they needed to spice up this snooze fest and digging into her past only yielded this one rando to play the part.

I’ve noticed that several times when tensions are running high, Devin has announced “I need a drink” and has headed to the bar.  That would be a giant red flag for me.

Not a spoiler, since I have no idea, but all you need to do is look back to how they teased Joey's ending in such a way as to make it look like he picked no one. I don't believe for a second that if she really did pick no one, that they would play their cards like that to "give it away". IIRC, when there really was a pick-no-one ending (way-back machine to Brad Womack), they hadn't teased anything like that, so that the ending would be more shocking.

What I noticed in the episode, is how quick Devin was to say he would be out of there if the ex got to stay.  (Austin said the same thing, but in a much more potentially hot-tempered way, so I was glad he self-eliminated.) Not very flattering about your commitment to Jenn, dude. I wish Jenn was able to see that footage. That comment was sort of the flip side of Sam's comment when Jenn was having her cry-all with the guys, when he said "I'm going to speak for myself, and speak for all the guys here, that we see our wife in this room." Puh-leeze. You don't speak for anyone, not even yourself, cause you just want to own her, and Dylan, Spencer, and Jeremy have never even been on a date with her...I seriously doubt they see her as their wife.

Also, not sure if everyone caught this, but when she was having her no-one-wants-me private meltdown, she said something like, "Maybe I'm not enough for Marcus. Maybe I'm not enough for Sam. Maybe I'm not enough for Devin." Quite a tip of her cards to let us know who her front-runners are (since I seriously doubt she ran through everyone's name and all the others were edited out!).

No, he's not cute at all. He's getting lots of attention for Bachelor, which is a shame since Joey was good looking. Both Joey and Jon are midget size, I also like a 6 foot plus Bachelor like Clayton, Zach and Colton.

It's the forehead and nose that's off putting.
