I wish they had gotten rid of Bruce last week.  I learned to like Sifu, especially after going through some of his interviews.

And here I am agreeing with Drew, not wanting Bruce to have any more victories.

Heh, even Jake realizes voting for Julie was a mistake.

So Jake wanted to make a move, but didn't want to dogpile on Kaleb because it wasn't making a move and it was following the herd.  Which I can respect in most instances, but maybe this was more of a 'follow the herd' vote.

I will say, that moment DID make me like Jake. Knowing he made a mistake because the plan didn't work but also recognizing that he wasn't going to follow the herd just because. I like when players break from the "vote with the rest" mentality, and I like when they have a strategic reason behind it (Jake wanting Kaleb to stay).

I'm actually impressed that he realized he didn't make a smart decision and is owning up to it.  I figured he'd come back ranting about how Katurah ruined his perfect plan.  He might have put a target on his back for nothing.

I wonder if the return of the auction means we'll get the coconut chopping challenge back one day.  I always loved that, and I hated that the San Juan Del Sur cast had to ruin it.

I think I actually like the twist.  It makes them want to really have to spend their money and not hold out (unless they are super confident in not having a vote).
